Ninja wasn't even that bad this episode and she's still gettimg trashed ****

ninja isn't bad...she just super small...she alwas will do bad in team challeges and do good in individual challenges

Ninja wouldn't be bad if she wasn't so conceited. She always talks herself up then has the slowest swim and performs average in the challenges. That's why the guys (Jordan/Zach) were getting tired of her because she would talk bad about all the other girls like she shows up during the challenges, then she needs coached through it. This season was an awful showing for her, which sucks because she is above average.

Both are annoying but Cara and Ninja were at a disadvantage, honestly. The weight would have been slanting forward the whole time due to them being shorter so they could have more force / pressure on their bodies as they carried. Same with Paulie to some degress but he really just gassed/blew it lol. Anyway, Kenny was smart back in the day wanting a girl who was a similar size to a dude for reasons like that.

Might have been smarter to have them across from each other on opposite sides for some balance - like one front right and the other back left.

I'd be interested to know who carried the most. Kam was shown carrying the most followed by Cara and Ashley with Ninja only a little but that might not be the reality due to editing. Kam beasted in any case.

Yeah this isn't the gauntlet 3, I'm sure you can leave someone behind and not get penalized ****

also CT kinda did a smart thing. Yeah risk the 10 minute penalty but how will they function efficiently with a busted gurney

For only being known as a pretty good competitor in elimination, Leroy really put in work. He deserves that win. What a shame. Same can be said for Kam and Ashley/Zach (even though they won already).

With these types of finals, larger groups just aren't going to cut it. Hopefully if Cara returns, people finally throw her in against stronger opponents. She is too mentally weak.

Ashley was on her neckkkk the whole time **** "This is your 9th final why are you crying". I never really got what Jordan said about her in finals until this episode.

Jordan is gonna cut rn into her at the reunion man. sheeesh

I'm not the biggest fan of Ashley but she is a major threat like a few others if they can make it to the final. Cara deserved every bit of that. Most overrated 'champion' of all time.

The US should of replicated what UK did by keeping all their men for all stages. Both sides had three guys and rotate a women out. Having all your strong men on the gurney evens out the weight better. Paulie is small size like Jordan but if he had stayed front like Jordan opposite a woman near his height level with your tall strength in back.

The US kept saying they had all the brains but CT and Jordan are great strategists for physical challenges.

"if you're gonna be out, stay out", I loved it./

Kam/Ashley/Leroy deserve better )):

Proud of Leroy and Kam. Both showed positive self-talk and positive body language throughout. Good teamwork, good sportsmanship, good leadership.

I'm usually neutral on Zach, but he was a great narrator on this episode. This was one of his best seasons. However, he could have coached Paulie. All he had to say was " if you make it through this loop, I got the next two and you can rest. I got you" . He didn't and Paulie gave up hope , "couldn't see",  & flopped.

I will  likely rewatch this episode again and again. Great editing, great drama and great commentary by Ashley and Jordan.

I've never been a particular fan of Ashley (mainly due to her over-the-top tantrums anytime someone dares to go against her on anything) but she was spot on in her digs at CaraMaria during Stage 1 of the finals.  CM talks a tough game but then craters on things like puzzles and swimming, which she and everyone who's ever watched a Challenge knows are going to be part of each season.  I've never understood why anyone who gets a call to be on one of these things doesn't put in the work beforehand.  If you can't swim very well, take lessons and swim every day.  If you're lousy at math and other brainteaser puzzles, get on the computer and find some different types of math problems/puzzles to do.  They're on their own when it comes to developing a better attitude and not taking everything so personally but the ability for them to improve on skills that they know are going to be needed for a Challenge is theirs to take.  Why so many of them show up at every Challenge STILL not knowing how to swim is beyond me.

Agree 100%

Also Cara's wins aren't even impressive. Bloodlines won vs a bunch of layups and Mich/Cory had to carry much more weight during the finals. FR was okay but wasn't by a long margin.

I don't understand her regression at all and I feel like she needs to be put in eliminations again because she is weak mentally and cracks under pression if it's not straight up physical. I think she thinks she is one of the best girls ever on this show but no matter how many challenges she does she will never belong in the Elite girl group of challengeres ever.( Laurel, Emily, Rachel and Evelyn).

Also eating that live warm was really stupid....at least bit it in your mouth or someting.

Ashly wasn't even mean or so...with her digs she tried to motivate Cara

I felt bad for Ashley, Leeroy, Kam and Zach but they can' blame anyone else but themselves! They should of volunteer to go into an elimination and switch over or trim the fat. Cara and Paulie were such embarrassments this  final no wonder they decided to sit challenge 35 out. I can't wait for them to get roasted during the reunion by Jordan and every strong eliminated people they got out.

Nothing but truth. Leroy also did really, really well imo.

I feel like Paulie gassed out because Ninja and Cara were put on the same gurney at the same time. They should have had all the guys during all the laps and switching out a girl. Sure that's a lot of weight for 16 miles but their strategy is what screwed Paulie over.

Also Zach was lowkey trying to sabotage them by taking a break and making Cara/Ninja carry the gurney. That should've never happened. Putting your two weakest girls in the same run. I'd have paired Kam/Ninja and Ashley/Cara if you were gonna do two girls. Kam was the strongest girl and could easily pick up Ninja's slack.

And also Ninja was so **** useless. Girl is just not useful to a team. It amazes me someone who is a solid individual player can flop so hard on a team.

I did a recap of this episode on the second half of my Challenge podcast (yes, I'm casually promoting it) but it was SO messed up how Team USA has punished for having more people. What's the point of putting more weight if only FOUR people can carry the gurney? It's not like you're offsetting that much for more people. The same amount of people have to carry MORE weight.

Anyway, here's the link and let me know if you enjoy: https://soundcloud.com/rncradiolive/issa-challenge-episode-10-finals-for-dummies (please don't ban me if I can't do this, I don't know if I can)

Would not be suprised at all if production wanted to give UK a better chance to win with the bags situation. After dominating the whole season and barely seeing eliminations, Team USA winning is not an ideal happy ending while Tori and Jordan switching, getting engaged and winning would be a storybook ending.

I don't think it's that unfair since they have more possible rotations if they were smart. The Uk guys were/are going to do all of the laps so it's only fair. UK got to rotate 1 player while the US could have done much more rotations.  Unfortunately for US, Ninja and Cara are awful and useless.

I would say Kam/Ashley rather than Kam/Ninja. Ninja's strong but she's also short AF which could also throw things off. Kam and Ashley are both tall and around the same height.

Yeah but then Cara and Ninja aren't gonna do anything which probably would've been better considering but I think Zach just wanted to make a point.

The idea of "proving a point" is soooo stupid, especially in the final. If Zach really wanted to prove a point, he'd go in a elimination and swap teams like Jordan/Tori did rather than just ***** about the team he's on yet do nothing about it. It's the final, just win the money and then say **** you to all of them after.

Watched the episode late so just leaving my comments without reading... **** Paulie. You talk such a big game and gas out. Dee, the so called layup, is greatly passing you. And Ashley, love her, for calling out Cara. I used to love Cara but she's acting like she's never done a challenge, let alone a final. My gosh. Maybe these vets do need to really prov themselves because she ain't right now

its stupid but it's zach lol I don't blame him. He doesn't seem to care about money recently - call back to him and Amanda going into an elimination.

flashback to The Ruins and Susie hating her team and she could have / should have thrown it so Sarah and KellyAnne could win but she played ball and won for her team.

i guess I'm torn on this issue...I just got done writing how zach is in the right on the social media thread lol

Everyone keeps saying well that's the bed Kam, Leroy, Ashley made for going to the finals with layups. But the entire season it was everyone telling Cara and Paulie they are stuck with layups when in fact it was them plus ninja that's holding the team back. So yes I do feel bad for Leroy, Kam, Ashley because they were called layups (none of them are) but they are the ones that showed up to win.
