I have no delusions of this actually happening but I think ratings would be better than most although maybe not in the demographic they care about.  It could also give us a couple/handful of returnees.  Which, and I may be in the minority, but I'd rather see someone like Kendal than more random international people.

Why would ratings be better? The show is getting it's best ratings in years right now

I really think this pandemic helped that, sad to say.  I'd be interested to see what they are like next season if things start to get better in the world.

People stay with this opinion, If that was the case all other mtv shows would be doing better instead of worse

Or are the other shows just so bad that people won't watch regardless of how bored they were?  Smile

Honestly, the pandemic should have helped all ratings and any show that didn't improve probably shouldn't exist.

I disagree a bit with that, I think the Challenge has a lot to offer.  Moreso than a lot of programming on MTV currently, sadly.  I do think they upped their game with advertising, big time.  I feel like I saw more ads for TM than I had for any other season previosly.  I think a mix of proper advertising finally and people being stuck at home deciding to give the show a chance out of just having more time on their hands helped.  Hopefully they got hooked and the ratings stayed up.

Then Bravo should be cancelled since all of their shows took a hit during the pandemic?  If people actually followed the ratings tthe main ones that benefited during the pandemic were the news and streaming services like Netflix.

Other than that no other network had major significant changes in rating wise neither negatively or positively.

Interesting...I guess everyone just lived on Netflix, Hulu and Prime for 2-3 months.

Lots of networks though should probably be cancelled as they're not really needed with the streaming services

Netflix added over 15 millions news subscribers since covid started. Streaming services are cheaper, more flexible and it offer more variety of shows to watch.

I personally dont even have cable since the moment I moved out from my parents house I just used their cable info watch the challeng live on the xfinity stream app. I only have Netflix, Amazon Prime and Rokus.

Viacom need to launch their own streaming service already they have enough shows and channels to have a lot of variety on it. Even creating exclusive shows to launch their like something like this.

Completely agree--that would make a ton of sense

CBS All Access just changed it’s format today and added all new Viacom programs. I just clicked on explore MTV and they have The Challenge seasons 11-31.  :-)

lol I just translated that.

he's doing the Lord's work with all of this Smile let's hope it works out

Is this dead already?  lol

Is this dead already?  lol

he keeps saying more information is coming on Twitter. I'm keeping hope alive in my mind, since 36 once again casting is failing

I wonder if this were going to happen who would come back as a Janelle still a ****** and who would be a Keesha since supposedly she was a ****** back then but NOT on this season after 10-15 years lol

My educated guess is Beth would be a Janelle , meanwhile Katie a keesha since she has been vocal about not drinking/fighting because of her job.
