there's no ethical consumption under capitalism **** almost all of the products you buy are under companies owned by billionares who are likely also support child exploitation and exploit underpaid workers in other counties. if you're gonna cancel yr netflix subscription you're gonna also have to go and cancel amazon, hulu, boycott all the franchises you go to on the daily, etc.
netflix is absolute garbage for releasing that disgusting film but the problem is not as simple as cancelling yr subscription. 60% of US adults have netflix even 10 million people boycotting them won't even make a dent.
Really enjoying Ratched. Feels like AHS Aslyum mixed with One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Hitchcock's Psycho
Not understanding the hate for it. Critics do my head in sometimes
I'm looking forward to this one! Love the cast, and Nurse Ratchet is such an interesting character from Cuckoos nest that I thought it should be pretty good! I don't have time to watch much tv but def excited to binge this!

see I loved One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest so I am very interested in seeing Ratched, but I can't do gore/graphicness. Is it bad?
its pretty gory/graphic. But very stylish as well. Has the aesthetic of a Kubrick film. I have two episodes left but honestly it's not as bad as people are saying! I think it's interesting and a very dark approach to the infamous character. If you loved AHS Asylum this is the closest you will get to a companion series.. but done with lots of bright pastel colours instead of dark grimy ones
So Atlanta is one of the few series that gets better with each episode. Alligator Man was brilliant!!
Im so glad you enjoyed it! Now you can join the rest of us Atlanta fans in anxiously waiting for season 3 The main cast is involved in so many projects now, so even though seasons 3&4 have been written, working around their projects will be the struggle. I don't expect a new season until at least late 2021 sadly...

I'm surprised Lottie's mom is working with a new project.

Vanessa? Shes getting popular. She was in deadpool 2 and joker, and shes going to be filming "the harder they fall" with lakeith (darius) as well as other projects.
Utopia on Amazon Prime is really good besides my favorite character dying so soon.
So many deaths and I am only half way throu the show lol.
I'm liking it too. On episode 6 now. Shocked it's at 5.9 on IMDB it's not bad at all.
Trying not to spoil but completely agree about the character death, I feel like it was just for shock value and didn't add anything besides me now being completely unable to care for or like the character who killed them

Mhm the cast is really good. I only like like two or three characters now. Probably more when I continue to watch.
So what's better the Boys on Amazon or Umbrella Academy on Netflix? One of my friends compared The Boys to Daredevil so that's encouraging.
Edit: I understand those two shows might be different genres but I'm just throwing names out there.
boys is hands down better. I think theyre very similar though, show the "real" side of having super powers. The villain on The Boys is one of the best written characters I have ever seen.
well RT is just a compilation of all news sites that do reviews, isn't it? I know a couple friends that love it
can someone try to explain "i'm thinking of ending things" to me bc...
Does Hulu have good documentaries like Netflix and Amazon?
And you're 100% Netflix has the best originals.
**** straight
The film Social Dilemma gave me some Anxiety. First time this ever happened.

I'm watching Penny Dreadful City of Angels and its okay for now. Hopefully it gets better.
Just started my Atlanta binge now. Someone said Alligator Man was their favorite episode so I'm hella excited.

Seeing Earn getting beat up by Tracy gives me motivation to work out and learn Muay Thai.

A comic book predicting future viruses and people trying to stop it with others are trying to stop them. If that somehow makes sense.

...
B.A.N. is probably my favorite episode. The ending almost had my sides burst.
Anyone know when Money Heist is coming back? Rewatching the show and its still amazing. Ugh US television could never.
I read an article from Spain that say that they are filming its expected to be release late 2021 or early 2022
I hope they come back soon but they were filming recently so hopefully by spring 2021 they crank out that last season

Both are good but IMO They Boys is quite a bit better. One of my favourite shows on right now
