im confused as to why they dont just make new seasons of the real world tbh
I wouldn't be shock if maybe this is why they are doing this reunion to see if they bring back new seasons
Even then I don't know a whole lot of people who are willing to watch a season from so long ago ( even tho they should tbh. ) hopefully it does well tho.
New RW can't be done in a panoramic since half the scenes were drunk party and hook up scenes at the club/bar. And casting needs to step up their game to make anyone want to tune in. And stop with the forced drama. You already know they'd repeat Atlanta with a Trumper vs a Black Panther. Tired of seeing that set up, makes my head hurt.
Not only did the casting suck, but the locations did as well. They stopped going to different countries for the past few seasons and just went to states. Over. And over again.
Agreed--also very few were outside the states (Paris, London, Cancun & Sydney) so staying in the US was not the problem. If they restart this they should consider cities like Nashville, Dallas, Houston, Pittsburgh & Memphis. Vancouver and Toronto if they want to try Canada
I wouldn't mind if they only cast people from the city they choose to film in and it's more of a True Life setting. For example they film in Dallas. They only cast Dallas locals that don't know each other. They still work their same job they had before filming (camera just follows them there if allowed) and they go back to the Real World house in Dallas.

I mean obviously they're going to have them talk about their season and what they think of their actions looking back on it. Then they'll probably talk about what they've done since. What did you want/expect?

Because they don't think the original format works any more (they're wrong) and the "theme seasons" were awful.

Yeah apart of the excitement to watch is exploring a location that isn't represented often on TV. It was like that for Survivor too.
