As someone who has continued listening to challenge mania, I feel like derrick has gotten much better. Still not great but he hasn't been rambling as much. I'm not the biggest Scott fan but he has a great radio voice and knows how to carry/run a podcast. Combined they kinda even each other out. I do like challenge mania more than official challenge podcast but listen to both.
As to the actual challenge, I'm getting older and don't care much for the drama. Way more cringe watching kailiah and bear on total madness then listening to derrick. Derrick is much more compelling on the competitive side. It's not like derrick is on every season so I don't understand why there's so much hate out there. He mentioned the joss elimination over and over because it was quite crazy, there's not many other eliminations like that in challenge history and also derrick has not been invited back since. Its like winning the superbowl and then never talking about it on your football podcast. Derrick is in great shape for his age and has a better chance in eliminating the newer/younger cast than wes or Johnny. I understand a lot of you think he's boring for not creating drama but the show needs derricks as much as it needs corals. Besides this is the only challenge community I've come across that despises derrick, don't even know why I bother to reply.

All well said--Derrick seems to be hated primarily because he was friends with Evan & Kenny (John to a lesser degree) and doesn't attack them for the allegations on The Ruins which pretty much no one that was there when it supposedly happened agrees with Tonya's version.

we know you desperately want someone to refute your (frankly disgusting) defense of evan and kenny, but we are not going to give you that opportunity so stop trying to bring it up every 10 posts
Team wins shouldn't be devalued but Derrick certainly isn't top 4.
They should count for less than winning solo or pairs. My rankings have Derrick at 10, Landon, CT, Jordan, John, Kenny, Evan, Darrell, Wes and Alton not in that order but they are ahead of him imo. Having Derrick top 5 is insane
Yeah thats a good list right there. I think Wes's Duel win was impressive, as that was arguably one of the most stacked male rosters, but I also think he's a tad overrated as well.

Evan & Kenny aren't good people but Derrick has the entire house agreeing with that they didn't do what they're alleged of doing other than 1 person. Send a PM to V1man if you don't want to believe me. He's still angry that some refuse to say it happened.

Did you know that 3/4 rapes/sexual assaults go unreported? Did you know that in the 1/4 of rapes/sexual assaults that are reported, the victims are often not believed or the facts of the case are misconstrued?
Before you adamentely go around claiming the whole situation did not happen, I would think about the external factors that may have played into the whole situation such as the pressure other cast members felt, a production company's influence, etc. Also I would like to point out that claims this grandiose are often not baseless and unfounded. And often the severity is undermined so as to "not make it a big deal".
We don't know for sure, none of us will. But I would be a little more careful on how you present yourself given all the information above.
Anyway, this has nothing to do with Derrick really so stop bringing it up. I don't like him for a litany of other reasons that I've said over and over, part being in Evan and Kenny's corner who, with or without the Tonya situation, were horrible people. I'd like to know the shit they pulled off-camera given everything they did with cameras around.

Yes everyone is lying to save production Evan and Kenny especially those that had no intention of returning and knew Tonya for years. You're right. Let's call people rapists without proof like you continually do. We're discussing this one incident not what statistics say happens to others. This is also very much about Derrick as people have said repeatedly they dislike him for his defense of those guys. If you don't want to discuss it then don't continually engage.

the fact that you think those things are beyond the scope of reality is a testament to how naive and priviledged you are
food for thought - how did production behave when Bananas was accused of sexual assault? How did production behave when Amanda was assaulted?
They silenced the girl with her NDA in the Bananas case and they threatened to sue Amanda in the other.
Now you're telling me that there are not external factors that may have played into how these people behave or why so many shift their story. Again, let's try to look at all factors here.
But I guess let's just dismiss the girl's claims. Seems to fit in with KVM's white Republican America. lol

I'm saying certain people that were in the room when it allegedly happened have said specifically that the other person is lying. Tonya doesn't have any clue if anything happened. Every single person other than that person claims it's all false. Nothing to do with production or anything else. I have no doubt Tonya was victimized in the past and Evan/Kenny aren't good people but this is all nonsense. I'm not dismissing Tonya's claims--they aren't even Tonya's. This isn't a difficult concept--but keep trying to make it about priviledge and politics. Typical deflection from the point.
Derrick is the man. Yes, he's short on brain cells and has a major napoleon complex but the guy is an absolute warrior. The morality/cancel police on this forum are a bit out of control. Let's face it most of these people on these shows aren't role models or high character citizens. We don't watch them because of their morality. We watch because they're good at what they do. There's no denying that Derrick is not pound-for-pound one of the best all-around competitors the show has ever had,
Always had a crush on him. Those lips. He used to be a big drunk and ****** competitor simultaneously back in the days somehow lol. One thing that holds him back in modern day finals (post JEK/Wes era) is he can't do a puzzle for *** because he's not smart. CT has that going for him on the Challenges. Derrick doesn't.
Would you rather belive a potential liar or defend a potential rapist?
Neither are good--you should find the truth and if you were there you should speak the truth. At some point maybe people will start to realize that he was there.
He's still not getting casted on the regular show so he better live this up

Deeper you the GOAT ****
Who remember he was hooking up with Camila and visiting her in Canada after Dirty 30
Watching the aftershow and he is already talking about his elimination against Joss
So I turned on the after show and heard Derrick mention his Joss elimination... turned that shit right off
I forgot about him and Diem having a fling on Fresh Meat.

Derrick slept with A LOT of the cast

diem
camila
jodi
casey
robin?
who else?
I feel like him and Britni hooked up as well.
They dated after Dirty 30.
Tonya?
Britni, Jenn, Tonya, KellyAnne & Robin. Supposedly Paula & Aneesa. Wasn't it rumored that he slept with Ashli too?
Honestly who knows which ones are true but Derrick apparently worked his way through the cast
Some wise words:
Would you rather belive a potential liar or defend a potential rapist?
Neither are good--you should find the truth and if you were there you should speak the truth. At some point maybe people will start to realize that he was there.
He is so overly defensive on the podcast when it comes to the voting in kendal ****
