I think the formats are the biggest problem like this just isn't interesting at all. I'm sick of pairs and teams.....come up with something we haven't seen in a while like maybe a season of where there is teams of five/four people
Yeah casting is a HOT mess and is a big problem but I think it boils down to these boring *** formats and challenges
The biggest problem w the show for years is their casting in general has been horrific. Got no connection to someone that is on BB Canada who gives a flying fk about them
The premiere of this season is the only one not on the top 10
Not surprised. The Challenge is entering that territory the Real World ventured into when they began adding themes to the seasons, meaning overcomplicating everything to compensate for lacking in everything else.
VMAs for the first time got under a million viewers on the MTV broadcast. It was 900 k. So that's basically the max number we could get in 2021. Maybe everyone cut their cable after Double Agents or whoever owns a Nielson box and was a challenge fan died and numbers dropped.
A big problem is casting a bunch of rookies that have no idea about this show. I feel like none of them are really playing the game and just waiting for their name to be called or worse volunteering to go in.

The format makes it hard to do stuff as rookies. Sure they could try but the format sucks.

Logan picking Amanda as a partner after he won would have forced a vet to go in next time (no more rookie rookie teams). Some rookies have won challenges but just followed what they're partner wanted. If vets don't wanna put in vets why can't a rookie that also won say I'm not putting in a rookie? Risky but at least do something instead of just volunteering, being ok being put in or saying if not this week I'll prob be in next week.
It just feels like most of them are ok being the scapegoats as long as their not the rookie that's being picked knowing they'll eventually be next no questions asked.
Aint the challenge mtv's highest rated show.... well at least it was when double agents was airing lol. Why do they only play the new episode once when it premieres and then never again lol.
Did it really go from 400k to 700k, that's... a good jump lol
No lol It was 591k last week but this week was after the VMAS all their shows experience an increase this week and it was also a shorter episode which in my opinion helps

Lmaoooo they may go back to the 60 minute format next season which spells trouble for a few of y'all faves. They already invisible as is with 90 minutes definitely getting no time if it goes back to 60 minutes

It's only going to get worse now that screaming matches get you DQ'd.

they need to bring back last place goes into elimination
Probably not but would ratings be any better if its on twice a week or something? 4 and a half months a season is too much

i wish there was a way to see the "live + 3" ratings
Total Madness average around 1.61 millions double agents around 1.4M. This season has to be around 800k-1M but I can't find a side with it lol
Social media engagement is rough compared to the past 2 seasons

This is also the result of mtv becoming the ridiculousness channel. They get what they deserve.
All I know is that host of ridiculousness must be richer than Oprah at this point. Owns a whole network and didn't have to pay a dime for it
It just doesnt make sense as to why they air ridiculousness 24/7 but cant give the challenge a few reruns for the week.

It went up

I wonder if being 60 minutes helps the ratings instead of the 90 mins ones
60 minutes definitely helped
Everybody say thank you Amber Josh and Fessy ❤️
I guess I'll throw Esther in there as well
wow from 495k to 714k. Thanks amber for saving this season
I think it's the drama from the preview. Ironic since the casuals would complain about drama but they're still hype to see it lol

* cough Cory stans *
they need to keep it an hour
Weather is getting colder, I expected them to do better at this point
