Also, I know that everyone is trashing Beth about this episode. But I kinda understand where she is coming from? Beth is a people pleaser (oddly enough), I don't think she wanted to make it seem like she was writing off David and solely taking Tami's side since she had such a huge role in that situation as well. Although I don't see that as taking sides, more so comforting someone. But I would have been like Jon as well, I would have assumed she got up because she needed a minute. Some people like to be chased after, and some people legit just need a minute alone (me). I think Tami was too hard on Beth lol. But Beth needs to learn to accept that not everyone is going to like her, she is too **** old to be seeking everyone's approval.

I thought it was weird of Tami to be mad at Irene and Beth for not addressing her admission and focusing on David. Because in that situation, it makes sense for Irene and Beth to to talk to David because they were involved in the incident too. They had their own thing to deal with and it was weird of Tami to make an issue of it. I know she was probably hurt her friends didn't comfort her and I sympathize that she just admitted something that was very personal and hard for her. But it came like she wanted the attention on her.
Just finished watching and what an incredible episode. I was glued to the TV the whole time. They did David wrong back then. Even if he does something bad this time it won't change that they got it wrong back then. Watching the unseen footage was hard. His daughter is gorgeous!
Tami sharing she is struggling is incredibly brave. Sad to see her smoke so much because smoking makes managing diabetes a lot harder.
Beth A was listening to both of them and her reaction was spot on. Loved her this episode.
Nas "Halftime" being played? Give the music staff a raise.
I'm gonna hold off a bit more to see how this plays out...but not siding with David. I just don't think this was handled properly and I feel bad that he's such an easy target whereas the others are kind of getting it light. I don't know, something just doesn't sit right about it with me.
yea I wanna see how it gets to Tami having to call Reggie to the house lol
Thats what I want to see as Well. Reggie stomping up them stairs to try and beat David's ***. I can see him running away from him that would be hilarious. With this cast something like that can and probably will happen. I mean who could've predicted that David would throw an apple at Glenn?
David also asking why Beth was willing to do this when she was scared of him back then. Beth also agreed to do Sexes with him 9-10 years after The Real World so it didn't make sense
She also agreed to do Battle of the Seasons with him as her teammate 9 years after RWLA. Jon said he replaced him because David got sick with food poisoning or something like that?
Wait?! We were robbed of a Beth/David team?!?! Even though it would have only been one episode it would have been iconic! I just imagine David and Belou fighting, David and Holly B, David and Coral, David and Stephen. It would have been gold.

that's crazy, that actually was the first thing I thought of when I saw Beth and David talking outside I was like '**** they would've been an iconic duo on battle of the seasons' lol it would've been two villains wreaking havoc
Plus Beth and David saw each other when they appeared on the biggest fights VHS where they reviewed the blanket footage in the Venice house
they've seen each other so many times since he left the house & even in the episode you can tell they cut out David bringing up their past fights on other shows & how she always had it out for him with Beth saying "we're not gonna talk bout that right now!"
I think the first two episodes served a certain purpose in a very emotionally revealing way. We got accountability, apologies, and redemption going around.
However, from this point on, I think it gets messy in a totally different way. These are still the same people, remember that. Reggie is on the way. lol.
this season has been amazing so far. i enjoyed s1 but this homecoming has been a lot more powerful and so real.
I liked S1 better but that might just be because of Heather and Julie. Tami is also great TV but Heather and Julie are essentially the blueprint of who to cast.

This is the only thing that is bothering me about Homecoming. Why aren't they allowing them to talk about their various Challenge or Reunion experiences?

Agreed twin.
So if KVM is my dad, timster is my other dad, you're my uncle. What's next?! Send help.

David/Beth together on Seasons would've been Puck/David/Beth levels of chaos on Sexes.

they would've been way too self destructive though, definitely the first ones out (which **** wasn't LA the first team out anyway? Poor Jon had to bear the brunt of Beth's wicked reputation lol)

Yea LA would've been very self destructive. They would have went out with a bang unlike Jon/Beth did with Norman's one sided feud against Beth. She seemed like she couldn't be bothered but Norman was bashing her during his confessionals. I can imagine the fights David E would've had with that cast. Ah the dream matches David vs. Flora, David vs. Belou, David Vs. Coral. He got a hold of Piggy on Battle of the Sexes in a fight that was so explosive Piggy was sent home.

they could've shown David apologizing to Tami at the 96' reunion & them hugging it out but they never highlighted that -- & that was the first time they had actually seen each other too since his removal from the house
I don't like Stephen. Everything with him felt so forced. Not natural at all. Like he's a cast member from today's era. I guess it would've been good to see David own him.

lol I know, I was thinking it would be a battle between the spitter and the slapper

If they just had tami and David with Beth a mediating real progress would have been made.

I'm finally getting the chance to watch this

sounds like something out of celebrity deathmatch lol
They did a Celebrity Death Match of The Real World. Jon Brennan still has his clay figurine.
For those on the east coast, at what time does paramount plus release the new episodes?
