After Liana/Shan left Erika was the only one I'd be content with winning so I'm happy she won. I thought Xander would take it but Erika picked it up at the end and killed it at answering everyone's questions.
Heather said she didn't know Xanders game especially pre-merge and she was shocked when she saw it play out on TV and asked why he didn't mention it at FTC and he said he never got a chance to bring it up since no one questioned it and they didn't do an intro or outro speech. Xander robbed
What even was this FTC format though? Like they didn't even do the 'outwit outplay outlast' segments like they did when they switched the format, not that I was a fan of it but I don't even know what this was, they were just kind of talking and asking random questions. Not having an intro or outro doesn't make sense either, explaining your game is the whole point of FTC and you can't just start blurting things out that nobody asked about since it wouldn't look good.
It felt like Jeff was just throwing anything and everything at the walk to see what stuck and nothing did lol. Has he given any interviews about this season addressing the feedback?

He usually just pretends the critisism doesn't exist with the exception of the EOE which he said he'd listen to the backlash and get rid of. Sometimes he even doubles down, I remember a preseason interview for 35 where he adressed the Cirie boot tragedy and was asked if he'd have less idols and advantages and he basically said he's going to have more things in play but try to change the timing so that doesn't happen
Do they always do seasons so soon? I didn't even know they filmed and had a whole other season ready to go lol
It's usually sooner I think, pretty sure they usually start even numbered seasons in February not March like 42, I'm assuming that's only changing because of the olympics
So are we expecting Xander on the challenge next season lol
If he's smart he'd say no since he'd get wrecked physically.
There's like 2 physical eliminations a season as long as he doesn't face Fessy he'll live. Devin just made a final, this shit's not that hard
lmao because that worked wonders for jay
Jay's proof that size doesn't matter, literally took out CT when guys like Fessy, Nelson & Cory would sell their own families before going in an elimination with him.

Jay got injured the first time he got a physical elimination, size does matter lol.

Not if you aren't in physical eliminations. Look at Cory who'd get his *** beat by most of the cast but always gets random carnival games since production has a crush on him
Maybe he will prove me wrong if he's on but Xander screams first boot to me. A Skinny young survivor rookie, no chance he isnt in the first elimination. And if its physical which it normally is, he's gone

He might be a first boot but we need first boots and if they could get a couple people from S41 of Survivor that would be good and there really aren't many options. Danny, Liana, Xander and maybe Sydney but I believe she's in law school

With our luck we'll get JD lol
lol I forgot about him and The Challenge does love early boots with their random picks
Do y'all not pay attention to physique? Xander is not skinny. Remember the merge challenge where they were split into two teams and his team were all women and they had to lift this super heavy Boulder out a pit? That was all him.
Thinking about it maybe casting chooses early boots because they don't actually watch the full season of the show they're casting for. They watch a couple episodes and choose the person they like most and usually it's centered around the eliminated player. Then they choose the winner without knowing anything about them but anticipate they're a challenge beast because they won a competition show but in reality they're boring

I know I am going to be called out as a chauvinistic ******* but this season and all seasons hence were all ruined the minute Ricard wanted Jeff to change the "Come on in, guys" to just "Come on in". It's just a phrase, do we really have to take out the intensity of such a call out just because they/them feel insecure in particupating on a forty season tradition? There I said my bit so go ahead yell, scream, cry out, GIVE THE NEIGHBORS SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT!!!!!!

People pressed about this a year later, sounds like you are more pressed than Ricard was *giggles*

Considering that i did have a tantrum writing that and I preferred Xander to be the winner. Heck, I even would've been content with a few Deshawn votes just so it wasn't a near total victory for Erika. The problem with S41 was that everyone in that final three was in their own way likeable and it's so hard to make up your mind for who you wish to write down and live with it.

They filmed both seasons in a row
yeah this ftc had no structure. lmaoo what the hell is this season?
I told someone else this but this season felt like a pilot to a survivor knockoff.

Devin has connections, unless he's winning multiple eliminations Xander isnt making a challenge final
lmao because that worked wonders for jay
Jay's proof that size doesn't matter, literally took out CT when guys like Fessy, Nelson & Cory would sell their own families before going in an elimination with him.
I'm fine with Xander on The Challenge as it's better than any random but hopefully they cast Danny and give CT some real competition
Jay got injured the first time he got a physical elimination, size does matter lol.

Xander would be insanely boring I'd like to never see him again unless they bring him back to Survivor. His voice and the way he talks is annoying.
Liana and Sydney should be the only ones getting calls.
With our luck we'll get JD lol

Sounds like his own fault.
