Let's start with Sexes 2. Tina was that good on All Stars. She outlasted Genesis on the first mission so she got lucky she wasn't the first boot because the new girls wanted to take out a vet. She wasn't a captain again until the 11th mission when they took out Veronica for personal reasons and "we want someone new to win". Then Coral protected her twice. Coral hated Robin so she made sure Robin left then she took out Ruthie to ensure she'd make the final. Tina didn't survive because she performed well. She played the game well and got a bit lucky.
On Fresh Meat she was awful on the puzzles--Kenny even solved one she couldn't in Exile--Kenny
People are allowed to like/love Tina--that's fine. I understand why people like her but please stop pretending she was ever a good competitor. We can say average--that's fine but good she was not.
I mean, Robin was a rookie and Tina outperformed her so I don't think we should put much thought into that boot. Ruthie & Tina were not that far apart, Ruthie never matched her Sexes 1 performance.
Tina is just an average competitor ****. and thats okay, she shines in other places.
I can agree. Again, she's solid but she's not gonna be the best or worst. Sadly we didn't get to see any individual times from the Allstars missions to really gauge how everyone is doing. I wish they would start doing that again so we can see where really people fall in performance.

I honestly believe it was solely Coral keeping her around until she no longer served a purpose. Coral couldn't stand Robin and made that very clear. Coral also knew she had to get rid of Ruthie to help her chances to reach the end. Tina was just...there.

Coral was just being manipulative - she seemed to always like Robin. Robin's best season, imo, was Sexes 2 - she was a strong rookie that Coral saw as a threat. So whenever Robin did bad she used that against her. She also used Cynthia being voted out against Robin too even though both Veronica and Ruthie were involved with that too.
At the reunion Coral called Tonya out for pre-plotting and announced she wouldn't be on the next season (inferno 2)
