Knew something was up when tribal started with 20+ minutes to go. Actually enjoyed this episode. Reason enough to keep watching tbh. First few episodes were a bit thin on drama.
Daniel has definitely grown into the wishy-washy, slimy, weasely lawyer I expected.
Personally, I think the twists are working better than last season. Players have played their shots in the dark, players are now seeing the consequences of risking their votes, Maryanne convincingly said her phrase and even made a cute story to go along with it, Mike is being smart with his (even if he got exposed tonight).
The hourglass twist when we get to the merge is the real question mark. I heard rumors that it was tweaked to make it more fair but I don't know that for sure. Hopefully they learned from last season.
Overall, I think this season is a huge improvement. I would even go as far as to say it's a great season even with the twists. A good cast and entertaining moments can save a season in spite of the twists.
This cast is definitely doing a better job with the twist (Chanelle's decision to risk her vote though is one of the dumbest things I've seen) but I like the pure strategy of the original game. I liked the occassional idol but things have gotten out of control. I don't mind seeing anyone leav, whether I like them or not, but last night Jenny left because of a flaw in the game IMO.
I need Daniel to go after everything that happened during tribal though. As much as I want to blame Chanelle, because her decision was illogical, Daniel made it 10 times worse. And Hai read it perfectly.
one thing I do hate about the twist is how much information the rest of tribe is entitled to. This would work way better on a two tribe season, the game can be broken easily with all this losing vote madness.
love that we got to see more chanelle, and jonathan is definitely making it impossible for himself to survive more than 2 merge boots.
second time maryanne said the bunny quote. i can't decide if i like that they didn't show her finding the idol or not
They showed her finding it? She and Omar freaked out
i literally don't remember. i remember when she was looking for it when it was between her and marya but thats it. i must've been doing something else during that scene.
Love that Tori and Drea survived! Both great tv and characters. It's amazing how great this show is when it's just basic Survivor with a good cast and no ridiculous idols or twist.
Ok wasn't a fan after episode 1, but Tori is killing it!! Great cast and what a surprise they had no bad twists (besides Maryanne sayign the phrase) and it was another strong episode.
Swati's vote off surprised me a bit because she was so invisible up until now. She got no airtime and went home early. Poor thing was too shy for reality tv.

lol--be nice to attorneys. I would have gone to rocks in that situation.
You wouldn't be in that situation. They would have already thrown the first challenge to unanimously vote you out lol.
Nah I'm loveable

I imagine Kvm playing like Phillip Sheppard tbh
Dead!
daniel is annoying.

Should be an interesting vote. Hopefully Drea and Tori survive. Tori's going to be a disaster and cause problems. Drea has potential to do well.
I hope they put jonathan on the challenge so that CT finally has some competition.
Such a good cast. Hoping they keep these small tribes til merge. They're too dynamic to ruin with a swap or dissolve.
Ugh, why did Tori survive again.
Swati: "Boston Rob was out fourth his first season, so maybe you'll see me win an all star season".
nicr try, but no. He made the merge and finished 10th his first season.
ya i was so confused by that, and Swati is not getting invited back but ok

didn't the previews show Tori finding the beware advantage???
i don't understand chanelles vote
Tori, Drea, and Maryanne survive another week! But I'm bored and over the three tribes. Glad they are switching it up next week.
Forgot this was on tonight --any good?
nothing special but not bad
That's a win after last season
bad move getting rid of daniel (loyal) and not chanelle, idk why hai didnt go with what he was saying he easily could get lydia to flip it
