Survivor seasons always go by so fast compared to the challenge and big brother

the challenge has 20 episode 5 month seasons and big brother airs 3 days a week for 3 months lol

I'm dying at all the "I've been watching since season 1 but I won't watch anymore since the show pulled the race card!" Posts, like hey idiots you clearly will keep watching since you said that last season and you still came back.

The reality is people don't watch reality TV for social justice so eventually people will stop watching.  Although, to be fair, they'll stop watching for multiple reasons not just that including the ridiculous twists.

They say they will but the second they see a fit white guy like Johnathan they will come crawling back, as evident by this season.

First off, I hate how fast the merge moves. I hate these kind of split tribals too. Just let them play. Hai pissed me off when he called the all guys alliance misogynistic. It's a strategic move you moron. Not everything is some social conspiracy. People just say dumb shit too look woke. If Tori used her shot in the dark and it worked that would have been amazing. I've never been in Maryanne and Drea's shoes to understand how they feel. I do get how seeing three black people going in a row would make them feel a certain way. One black woman has won the show and that was 20 years ago. Most of that was because of casting and the lack of diversity. Why Rocks was targeted made no sense. Why take out a guy who wants to work with you over the guy who actively wants you out? Drea is a ******  and amazing at the game so targeting her was smart. I'm glad she played the idol. I don't think there were microagressions that took three black players out, it was a stupid Probst twist. Had they just played Survivor Romeo or Tori would have left I bet.

I think people were hoping it wouldn't be the same this year--kind of like how many of us kept giving The Challenge another shot.

You might be a racist if a 4 minute convo about race bothers you that much.

I'm sure some of the people threatening to leave over it are probably racists.  I'm also sure a lot of people are fed up with casting, twists, declining game play, etc and they don't want to deal with social justice or politics during Survivor.  It's not as simple as you're claiming.

Did I say if they hate the direction of the show they are racist? No. I said if they quit watching over 4 minute conversation about peoples emotions and feelings, then they might be a racist.

Jk I'm a liberal again BLACK PEOPLE DID THAT! THE WAH MARYANNE AND DREA STRUTTED TO THE PODIUM TOGETHER TO HAND JEFF THE IDOL MADE ME QUIVER. GO BLACK PEOPLE! WE AINT TAKING TOUR BULLSHIT

It's sad that Maryann and Drea had to do that to feel safe. This splitting of the tribes totally screwed up everything and caused another black player to get voted out and Drea was definitely left stunned and clueless as to what was going on so of course she was going to think all the black people were the targets. Sucks that they both no longer have idols but I hope Drea can use her remaining advantages. Had things not been screwed up like this I think Romeo would have gone home. Johnathan totally put his foot in his mouth tonight. He would have been better off following in Beth S' footsteps and not saying a thing when race was being discussed.

this is one of my favorite episodes in years of survivor

came out of nowhere

I really did not like how they handled race last year and found it to be way too much, but this tribal was perfect and spontaenous of the history of survivor. Drea is now my favorite to win, this was one of my favorite moves in a while and I'd expect nothing less of Maryanne. I think a lot was left on the editing table.

I did find it funny to see Maryanne talking about Omar being the first muslim when he was the one who orchestrated the Rocks vote.. and i do think race was a subconscious reason Rocks was voted off based on the way they described Rocks this episode when the opp presented itself.

I havent looked up the reaction at all online im sure it will be entertaining. still processing a really standout episode and one they should submit to the emmys.

I see Survivor fans were upset with this racial conversation and are tired of Survivor tackling social issues and how it plays into the game but people literally forget that Survivor has always been about tackling social issues especially since the show had multiple seasons with themes that divided people based on race, gender, class, income, career, looks, body type, brains, age, etc. One season was Worlds Apart that divided people based on social class based on their careers, one season was Brawns vs. Brain vs. Beauty and one season was old vs young. Lets not forget Survivor Cook Islands was the one season that literally divided people based on race so all this talk about Survivor just now being "woke" and bringing up issues involving class and race is stupid considering most of the season's themes have been centered around these things for years.

i thought it was a good episode, and the conversation was welcomed - tori was also smart to take the shot in the dark unlike whoever it was last season who knew she was going home but didn't even attempt it??? idk. tough loss cause she was messy lol.

chanelle deserved to get voted out imo, but rocksroy came out of left field i think (tho i was cooking and may have missed the specifics of the convo between mike and hai). i don't believe it was racially motivated tho as others wanted rocks out before too - just wish it was romeo instead of rocks between the two of them cause romeo does absolutely nothing for me.

totally see where the concern and disappointment comes from with drea and she was right to point it out.

Nooo I didn't want Tori to get voted out I wished it was Lindsay at least Tori delivers! That whole twist about diving them sucked!

Once again a Probst twist ruins the momentum of a good game.

Same here. People had been saying this cast was delivering and I wasn't on board yet but they are a good cast. Crazy how in season 42 Survivor still manages to be good yet a show like  The Challenge has just nosedived starting at season 34.

Thank god T*r* finally died

Lovvvved this weeks tribal. The way Drea and Maryanne spoke to exactly how they felt in the way they did was amazing. Was a fan of Tori so was sad to see her go but I get why it all went down the way it did.

Drea and MaryAnne should have been linked up now Mike is the only one with an idol.

Thank god T*r* finally died

Get ready for all eye rolls and facial expressions on the jury tho!

Black Survivor players: this is my reality as a Black American and a Black Survivor player

KVM: I don't like this social justice woke stuff!!

People sharing their experiences isn't a problem, KVM. You are the problem. A Black American sharing their experience in this country does not mean your experience isn't valid. To immeadiately get defensive and mad shows how fragile/snowflakey you are.

I hope your kids do better than you.

Yeah this stuff isn't new. It's either edited out or not verbally discussed until recently where they felt more comfortable being open with the audience. Y'all can't tell me this wasn't a thought in your mind watching the old seasons with 2 token blacks and 14 yts and they were usually left out of the majority from the jump and floated until picked off like they were useless and never taken seriously to begin with. Still think the most questionable boots of all time where nothing was verbally said or made the cutting room floor was Marissa on BvW, Jolanda on Palau.

Oh also just remembered our queen Natalie Anderson called this out when Nadiya and Val were flung out the game the first two rounds. This is really nothing new at all..
