Maybe they did well enough on the daily to be target before the other vets join the game. All of these shows regardless of the format comes down to having numbers and the vets were out numbers due to the second quarantine.
Starting the game with part of the cast still in quarantine might be one of the dumbest decisions made by production. If I were Kailah I'd be PISSED I wasted all the time in quarantine only to be screwed.
