The Challenge: Battle for a new champion- Teamwork Makes The Perfect Work

Woah. Hauserman really bullied Olivia from being a blonde. Those Trumpie comments really got to her.

These face/neck tattoos bother me so much lol. I dunno why but they make it hard to watch.

The dailies have always bored me but the team one literally put me to sleep. The episodes are too long so I'll just fast forward those I guess.

I don't remember her name but I love the girl from Argentina. She has such fun vibes.

The fact Tory became a regular starting with Dirty 30 and Asaf is just now on his 2nd season is such a shame and proof Skye has no idea what she is doing.

Bertha is giving OG Belou and Ayanna energy. I'm digging it.

Ed looks so greasy and dirty.

Commentary isn't the same without Timster.

Public voting has to go. Secret voting only, please.

The uniform and confessional aesthetic is so bad lol. Someone needs to be fired for that lol. Pinkrose that isn't your job is it...?

Episode 1 Winners-Berna, Juyjuy?, Melissa, Tula

Episode 2 Losers-Anyone with fave tattoos, long hair, & Olivia.

Uniforms are awful. Elimination sucked. Public voting is a disgrace. Format is designed to save the network as much money as possible.

Cast is actually not abysmal for the most part but very few of them have main character energy. Most are little side characters that will be horrible/annoying to watch after three or four weeks. And public voting is gonna have the same people catching votes every week. This thing is gonna get predictable fast.

This was the worst episode of the Challenge I've ever seen....even the first episode of Rivals 3 was at least somewhat entertaining.

wat was the point in cutting out all the partying/fun? this episode was way too long if they only wanna focus on the competition/politics.

big t, berna & callum were the stars of thie episode imo, with michele, melissa, ciarran & corey being good supporting cast members.

olivia looks a mess **** and james is already rubbing me the wrong way, he seems like a more unstable, coked out version of brad...which i didnt think was possible.

i just couldn't be in a room with james. white people that talk like him make me uncomfortable, why u so intense?

The problem with public voting is that the order they vote (chosen by production) affects it so much. Once Jessica has the first 4-5 votes, is there any reason for anyone to vote elsehwere? Unless you're dumb like Horacio I guess.

So Jessica was actually going in prior to the deliberation.

She was working with Chauncey and Jay and Chauncey outright told Jay he was targeting him. Jessica didn't say anything to Jay and Jay basically got the votes to send her in. So that's why she spoke when it looked like she didn't have to.

Why this wasn't in the edit I wouldn't understand.

He was doing a lot for someone who didn't make it past episode one.

He knew not to say that to everyone's faces too.

Was this any good? What about next episode preview?

Nvm skimmed the past couple posts trying to avoid spoilers. Seems like yall hate it more than Spy Kids. When Cara makes her return let me know via dm so I can tune in.

Well the one thing we got right pre season was the Rod girls would clique up immediately

interesting. from the challenge podcast, sounded like big t thought she was going to be the vote but everyone backed down once jessicas name was said, but she thinks Horacio was sticking to the original plan.

Big T said Jessica said she could call someone out for revenge, which she took as olivia or nurys or do something for the team and take a weak person out, so she went with Big T.

So I havent watched episode 0 or this. I stopped watching USA 2 after the halfway point. Last season I stopped watching a little bit after the halfway point. I honestly just lurk on twitter, read this forum and sometimes check the wiki is it worth it? The only seasons I watch in full are All Stars. Last franchise season I watched from start to end was War of the Worlds 1. The show has really just lost a lot of steam in my eyes, it's lame. The endgame is always boring.

This is the first premiere episode, I just stopped watching. It was just so boring. There isn't any strong personalities this season that bring main character energy (except for maybe 5 people). The format, editing, etc. just doesn't match either. I was expecting similar editing/vibes from Invasion but the cast minues a few just aren't strong enough to be "the next generation".

They wanted another viral Jenn Lee moment of someone just digging their own grave in deliberation

honestly.... no, not really. And I agree with the above comment about there being no main characters. No dynamic personalities. Hopefully it gets better but I doubt it will be anywhere as good quality as AS has been for us

The cast has strengths but also plenty of flaws. Again, the issue is the editing. They want to make the show 90 minutes but then wanna cut everything out. Team challenges are so boring and need to be over quick. I fell asleep during it last night. Then the house is missing the fun and drama. The 80 strategy sessions gets bored so quickly.

Ed looks gross.

That's my analysis of the episode. The fromat is rubbish. The cast has potential but everything else was baaaaaad

how were ratings?
