Can I reiterate that the handling of this franchise makes no sense whatsoever?
We have a "streaming exclusive" version of The Challenge that Paramount has shelved for a damn year. They clearly do not care about the fans that want to see it.
So dump it off on MTV and get some ad revenue off of it. Clearly, The Challenge is MTV's lodestar, bringing in the highest weekly ratings with the best demo.
If the flagship is gonna run fall-winter like it has, and CBS USA is gonna run summer-fall. That give All Stars the spring.
Yeah 600k seems like a stretch looking back at the ratings of 38 that had all the vets. I revised my answer to 500k. Which will still be the highest ratings so far thank u cara

wait so why has the challenge been airing purposely to compete with survivor knowing that it will lower the ratings? is there some sort of strategy behind that? cause it didn't work. they could have easily just put it on a separate day.
