THIS. The foundation of this show was seeing people from a small circle compete. The relationships were mostly genuine and we were invested in them. I get the pool had to be opened up after RWRR was cancelled but bringing in people from 100 different shows was dumb and took away from the essence of the show and it's been trash ever since.
If I was in the reality tv industry and developing shows, Id look at the reception of traitors , and try to pull various people from different networks who have previous relationships with each other for the show. Its wild to me that nobody has developed a rivals like strategy competition show.
