Cara going for the Cruella haircut signals one thing to me: she knows she's getting targeted early and likely home before the first month is up. She's going there to be a huge target and stand out.
It was during her break from the show and wasn't fully blonde, she still had dark under the top. But she was tinting it like soft pink but it really suited her because it brightened her face and didn't distract from how pretty she is.
