don't feel bad at MJ at all, she was wrong almost all season long, kept believing that Phaedra & Kate weren't traitors and was pretty much the reason peter was voted out. So yeah good bye
Do people just feel sorry for the person that gets screwed over? Its wild how Ive seen so many comments everywhere feeling bad for MJ. Shes worth a **** of a lot more than Tris****e, and Tris****e hands down played the game much better than MJ.

the right people won for me
I would feel bad if someone got legit screwed over, but MJ did it to herself. In no way was she screwed over.
So trishelle thought ct was a traitor because he didnt light her torch so she thought “he must be a traitor and hes already protecting me which is why hes not lighting my torch”. same thing when he let her have the shield, shes like only a traitor would give it to me because they knew they were safe, so he’s trying to take me to the end. Then he changed the vote and went for sandra instead of kate so alarms are going off in her head. So Alan kept saying if you have an inkling of a doubt, you need to vote to banish. So when she did that to ct, and turned her plaque around, everyone including production was dead silent and couldnt believe she did that. Ct looked devastated and like he was going to cry, so shes like theres no way I can vote him again, I will let him have the money if hes a traitor. So she switched her vote to mj.
She 100 percent thinks ct did the vote for mj because he didn’t want to share it with mj. They did have a brief conversation about it being just them two at the end
mj was being very bitter when they were doing promo in new york, trishelle tried to explain to her that she should actually be mad at ct, not her. She didn't vote for mj the first time, and mj voted for trishelle in the first place! She said maybe mj needs to watch a few more times before she can understand LOL
janelle told bananas that 20 years ago, trishelle stole leonardo dicaprio from her. Trishelle clarified that they were at a party, she saw janelle talking to him but him and her were already hooking up atp, so she walked over and made out with him to remind him "hey I'm right here". She said she thinks she was a few years past 25 lol
trishelle did not want kevin to be part of peters pals
she was trying to convince ekin su that marrying a pilot has great benefits
Oh and the traitors rulebook regarding calling out your fellow traitors "has to be in the spirit of the game" so sounds like thats open to interpretation

All of that makes sense and is logical gameplay, even if she was wrong.

Yeah and it's the same across all countries from what I've seen. The main rule they all have is a traitor can't say they know someone is a traitor based on being a traitor (i.e. in Dan's exit speech he can't say Phaedra is a traitor). They can use other things that occur within the game to target a traitor (as long those things don't come from the turret or something), and I think that makes complete sense. You want the game to have layers and for people to strategize in different ways. If traitors can't call out or vote for other traitors at all, then that would ultimately make it super obvious who the traitors are. Since we're only 2 seasons in the rules can probably be tightened, but I assume they also want to give some room for game to happen.
I'm interested to see how the game play evolves in season 3.
I don't need to read the other flop thread that wasn't nearly as successful as my non-spoiler thread. The real ones (and a few uninvited and unwanted guests) are here.
I think season 3 will heavily rely on alliances after this played out. Alot of preseason alliances. So like I said in previous weeks, please dont cast more than 3 people from the same show/network. And if we are getting challenge representation, miz and coral please!
Or, people that would terrorize others together (Ashley/Amanda, Veronica with Coral or Tina). I still want them to dig into casting people with beef, they did an ok job with that this season.
Janelle and Dan got along and were friendly outside of the game.
I think it can go a few ways. People from the same show who get along have an advantage in some ways, but it can also be a disadvantage (other players will assume one of you is a traitor, for one, but also those other players know your tells and can easily identify you as a traitor if you are). The other players also always have the option of splitting the pairs up, so it's also their fault if they let a pair get to the end.
Next year it would be better to make the traitors off a random draw or drawing rocks or something, though you could then end up with some dud traitors. If not that they need to make it less obvious who they pick. Everyone pretty much assumed it would be 1 Big Brother player and 1 Survivor player, like in season 1, and then either a Houswife or a Challenge player. The show did well to start off with only 2 traitors because then people were actually wrong, but since Parvati was recruited it just backed up what people were assuming anyway.
Y'all wanna call MJ boring but stanning CT...? What did CT do that was remotely interesting other than be some chubby white dude that Phaedra loved all game long.

I don't get the MJ hate. I know nothing of her and thought she was great.
MJ was a kooky character for the show and had some moments that were good TV, but she was a terrible player. Like, she was almost always wrong in her reads of people. Even at the end MJ could have won with Trishelle at final 3 but kept trying to boot her. That's just facts.
I'm definitely seeing a lot of hate for Trishelle on social media, with many people saying she wasn't going to let a nonwhite win. Like, how are people overlooking that she tried to with with MJ at final 3? The Housewives are entertaining, but their fans are really annoying and clearly don't know how competition works.

Played the game and had charisma.
Where's that charisma because I didn't see any. He was incredibly boring and gamebotty. MJ I can appreciate for not being a gamebot.
Also nobody mentioned this but chalk is very loud... writing mj or ct takes about the same amount of strokes, but compared to writing trishelle, it was obvious that mj stuck with her trishelle vote before she revealed it
So I've now watched 4 different editions of Traitors, and the wins break down like this: 1 initial traitor won, 1 recruited traitor won, and in 2 seasons a group of faithfuls won. That's a pretty good spread. I look forward to seeing other seasons now that season 2 of UK is on peacock.
Boston Rob is a lock for season 3 with NBC connection

MJ played a terrible game and was boring. She didnt deserve it and would have ruined the end moment.
Takeaway from the plaintain podcast:
i think thats about it
Somebody said "faithful faithful faithful" reminds them of when ct said "GIMME KAM I WANT KAM KAM KAM KAM" lmaoooo
Thank you for recapping that! I wish Trishelle & Janelle would have had a 20 year old feud over Jack from Titanic all season.
it wouldve been iconic!
Now I want to see a challenger as a traitor and see how they do in that position...
Oh and the traitors rulebook regarding calling out your fellow traitors "has to be in the spirit of the game" so sounds like thats open to interpretation

This is a very accurate take lol.

I never spoiled anything for you guys here...
Exactly! MJ always had the same stank face all season. Did she have a personality? I can't remember

If you're gonna cast from the same show it needs to be people that hate each other.
Parvati and Sandra had beef, Janelle, and Dan didn't like each other, and Trishelle and Bananas didn't have a good rapport.
I think they need to go a bit harder tho because most of them made up. Wes-Da'vonne, Coral-Julie, Veronica-Beth etc.
I kinda agree but then I wont get Coral and the Miz
That reunion would be an exception for me.

Season 3 needs to cast exactly like this did. It was golden!
