Finding out Laurel was injured at least makes me feel better about how close it was. I think a healthy Laurel still likely smokes those check points and wouldn't need the skips to win, but it still rubs wrong how it played out in this case.
I mean Novak Djokovic won a match at Roland Garros with this injury. Also, that injury has nothing to do with solving puzzles, drinking weird drinks, stacking rocks, etc. It wasn't the run where Laurel got passed.
okay,,, i actually kind of liked that final. but not for the challenge. i think something similar to The Goat or a similar reality tv show should adopt this format. for some reason i really enjoyed that electroshock challenge and i kind of wanna do it myself to see what it feels like
i also think production didn't predict that everyone would give their stars to laurel, they probably ***umed it would be a bit more evenly dispersed. every twist they try to implement falls on their *** rofl

Part of their job should be to play out all possible scenarios and evaluate if it's fair and make sense. They are incompetent and lazy.
Let me preface this with I dont think its right to go directly to their pages and leave negative comments at all, but Ive seen some fans screenshots that they commented that laurel didnt earn the win, and then laurel directly messages them and insults them. She is kinda unhinged. I saw her making fun of a woman for being old when that was the demographic All stars was originally created for. I hope she uses some money for therapy because she really needs it IMO. dont get me wrong, I dont think its easy to be on these shows. But thats why 1) i dont do reality tv 2) if I did, I couldnt be bothered to run my own socials and see the hate.
Leroy's comment on Bananas' comment that the Challenge is Cara's life but not his is so wild to me because didn't Leroy have a patreon dedicated to All Stars 4? They surely made money from doing it. Leroy has done more seasons than probably 90% of the people on these things. Isn't Leroy also on the season that just wrapped up? Stop acting higher than thou, man. The Challenge is a legit career, and no one should be criticized for taking advantage of it (not Cara, and not Leroy either).
What Leroy means is that she can seperate the game from real life. Even her friends complain she is exhausting because she talks the game 24/7. He might do a lot of shows and some podcast to profit off of it but it's a job to him and he can check out. She cannot. You can be a Cara fan and still recognize she has flaws. They way yall ride for a stranger who lowkey sucks is weird.

Kam and Leroy had a patreon dedicated to various things since Double Agents, but yes they had episode recaps. During Leroy's fake retirement he wasnt speaking about The Challenge and making it the center of his universe....Cara posted about The Challenge everyday for 3 years until she was able to come back ****. If you cant understand the difference idk what to tell you. Laurel said something very similar to this early on in their challenge careers too so its definitely obvious.

I disagree to a certain point. People have gotten wayyy too comfortable saying whatever they want, and alot of people defend the nonsense by saying "Well you shouldve known what you signed up for". Ya reality tv gives people the freedom to opinions, but it doesn't mean the person getting judged cant comment back.
Im here for contestants on all reality tv shows clapping back, especiallyyyyy at the demographic who is actively ruining the show (old white people in america) by causing the producers to think we wanna see certain things.
I agree with you to an extent flyguy. If someone is dissing your looks, **** yah, go in on them. But for them to say you didnt earn the win so you pick apart their looks is weird af to me. (But idk they couldve been taking personal shots but it wasnt in the screenshots I saw)
idk like I said, if I were in the limelight at all, I wouldnt be running my social media. It doesnt look good in the age where people ruin peoples careers because of something said on social media. Which I also dont agree with, but cant help but acknowledge it does happen so its probably not wise for laurel since shes one of the few that has a career outside of the show.

I agree with most of this except one part: the only person runing this show is the casting director, not a group of people. All Stars was on the right track until Skye started casting the usual unathentic suspects from the flagship.
She is so miserable ****. And the irony of that comment
Also, wasn't it her who said he hated Laurel in an article he said he read? That's funny
Tbf Ace probably did say he hated her at one point to Cara. Ace is known for being shady and messy on the dl and then saying really nice things about people in public. He may have never actually meant he hated Laurel or was being hyperbolic/talking about her behavior on the season, but I think it's pretty likely he said it or something like it.
Cara is miserable when it comes to Laurel though, yes -- and vice versa lbr.

I agree with this. Honestly, Laurel should just ignore them. Was the final stupid af with having loser friends help determine the winner? Yes. But did Laurel still win based on the rules they all played by? Also yes. A win is a win, regardless of how stupid production was with that star twist -- production is the issue here, not the winner. Laurel should clapback by pointing that out or ignore imo.
Laurel sometimes just goes for the lowest hanging fruit attacks that are mean spirited. Makes for great, messy TV -- not necessarily a good person.

I didn't see the screenshots being discussed. If someone was directly responding/sending hate to her, then she has a right to respond (even though she'd be better off ignoring it). If someone commented that in a random comment section and then Laurel went out her way to respond to them and pick a fight with them, then that's really ******* weird and sad behavior!
How has that idiot Laurel not figured out that it's better to not read and engage with what the fans have to say when she's been doing this whole reality TV thing for over a decade. She's so stupid I hate her.
Just finished watching and this was really lame, good for Laurel that she "made friends" or whatever. But Steve and Cara deserved this win 10000 times more than Laurel. I was heartbroken to see Steve make such a fatal mistake, he had an amazing run and was never afraid to play the game his way; we need more male competitors like him who are genuinely there to win and don't hold back for anyone. As for Cara, I'm not sure if the edit just didn't show it or people came in already with their minds set about Cara. I personally would not Veronica's word about Cara considering Veronica is nasty bitter unfun woman.
My negatives would be the editing being so lame, why not edit the fights in but they showed us Laurel getting ugly with Cara? Way too much focus on Kam's storyline, I adore her and welcome her but there has got to be other storylines going on. They could have developed some arc for the Steve/Adam fallout. Shown us Adam/Averey. Shown us a glimpse at least of the Ayanna situation and Janelle's real reason to quit. Janelle would have done really well too, so bummed she quit and didn't try. Not a fan of the last minute challenge for stars, if you sat idle in that house not wanting to take risks then there should be consequences. Why rewards players that didn't have to be in the heat of things like Cara or Steve who constantly found themselves fighting for their longevity in the game?
Meh, I liked this cast a lot. It did not live up to the hype we've gotten for a year.
And for the record, I am a big Laurel stan. But unlike Amber and Cara stans, I don't have blinders on and worship her. She shouldn't have won or been in the final, point blank. I'm also not buying this whole positive confessional she had at the end when we saw how she treated Cara.
Came to bid farewell to everyone on here. I'm so shook by Sarah from Miami's passing so my post won't be the same as I had planned but I'm out you guys. I'm sure most don't care but I can't watch the Challenge anymore not what it used to be, it's a chore now and I can't stand the editing wanting to make this show a sport any longer. Oldschooler you're my fave! #TeamOS it's been fun you guys but I'm out! My first show watching was Miami with Flora and my last will be AS4 also with Flora. I've come full circle. Now I will need to grieve this terrible news about Sarah

never really liked him except for on the gauntlet 2. Everything else he does annoys me.
Honestly I thought I was alone in my dislike of ace. He just bothers me
I thought I was alone too.
I'd sleep on the streets if I had nowhere to sleep to make a friends funeral. Ace is wealthy and had connections for places to stay though.
He could have stayed in a hotel. He was just being annoyingly hyperbolic in that post.
Ace seems like the kinda guy who would rather sleep on a bus bench before paying for a hotel in nyc
