Have we gotten any more clarity on the format for this season? I know we know there's a star element, but what about voting/etc? Is it last place goes in against winner? Maybe something final reckoning-esque?

Sounds like stars are back in a similar format of AS4 where they get them from the first daily challenge
Wait also if there are 9 pairs in episode 2 without stars and 4 with stars then doesn't that cover all 13 teams? What if there's no elimination episode 1?
