Dislike Johnny. He's an ******* and he needs to learn the time and place to run his mouth. But it's getting ridiculous at this point when he's won three and can potentially win a fourth to say he shouldn't be winning or he sucks or whatever.
Agree. Don't like Johnny, don't want him to win challenges. I believe his haters don't want to agree that he is a great competitor. The only thing he probably isn't very good at are puzzles.
Saying Johnny is not the best is 100% understandable, however arguing that he "sucks" or is "overrated", or got "lucky" is ridiculous. He has won 3 times, that is not a accident, he beat CT and Adam in a elimination (him and Tyler are the first to beat CT without a DQ), won the most mini challenges on rivals AND Exes. It is ludicrous to say he is not ONE of the best.
If you look at each challenge there is no reason to doubt his abilities.
Duel: was there for ONE challenge ( a stupid one, which was hard to win for anyone, really random) and an eliminaiton against a good competitor (Tyler) which was extremely stupid (the melon, guessing game) Hard to judge him on this challenge
Inferno 3: Made it all the way to the finals, had a poor squad (with Ace and Cara), but won the most life-shields on the team and never was a detriment in any challenge
Gauntlet 3: Went into third elimination against one of the better competitors to play the game (Evan) and lost, no shame, won all but one challenge he competed in. Was the lost voice of reason, and was right in his argument in putting in Eric.
Island: WON the whole thing. Went into face offs, won one, lost one (to Derrick a elite competitor), played a flawless political game. There was not much competition wise to judge him on.
Ruins: WON the whole thing. Won 8/9 challenges, never looked like a weak link (except for one he tried to throw). Beat Dunbar in a elimination , which required strength.
Cutthroat: Was the leader of the team, had to perform twice, on the heights challenge. Only won 2 challenges and lost an elimination to tyler/ct in humiliating fashion. Was a size -based elimination.
Rivals:Won whole thing, won most challenges, won elimination against elite ct and adam. Took the regins on mini challenges where one player had to take a larger role then their partner ( cLimbing rope, hosing down and jumping and releasing
Exes: Currently in finals, won most challenges, beat the gargantuan Mark in a wrestling elimination. Looked like the best team with Camilla.
At what point in those 8 challenges did Johny ever not carry his weight, or perform well? Track record speaks for itself
I completely agree with that, a lot of people just don't like him so they try and make excuses but when you look at the facts, you see that he really is a good competitor and he deserves all his wins.
It's very easy to write some good story about Johnny if you want to make him look like a hero. Give me a shot.
Duel 1 Tyler? Good competitor? Casey looked better than Tyler on Duel 1.
Inferno 3 wow. His team had Timmy, who was like 40, Davis, Ace and Alton, the only decent competitor. Of course he was leader!
Gauntlet 3 He lost to Evan. IN PUZZLE. Come on.
Island Later on it was published that Derrick gave up because he knew people will vote for him so Johnny, his friend, will be able to get a key.
The Ruins He beat Dunbar. Coments???
Cutthroat Leader? When?! They won only 2 missions. They completely sucked.
Rivals had a good partner, lots of friends in his side.
Exes once again he had great teammate.
Tell me that I'm wrong.

You're wrong because you can nitpick EVERY SINGLE PLAYER's wins without really trying too hard. Here's a few
Kenny: Was on the more stacked team on I3 with girls who could run. Didn't win a single face-off on the Island. Politics and final endurance alone won him the Ruins and the Island.
Wes: Only won the Duel because of a kick off. Had they started even he would've lost. Had CT not DQed he would've lost.
Evelyn: Was up against a team full of girls afraid to call her out on I3. Only won the Island because Kenny and D didn't backdoor her. Had they chosen to keep Paula there's no way even Evelyn's sailing ability would be enough to carry Robin, Jenn and Ryan over them. On Rivals all of the male powerhouse teams had her back and she had the only other girl who was comparable to her in terms of endurance.
I don't discredit any of Kenny or Evelyn's 3 nor do I discredit Wes's Duel win, but there are nits to pick. I'm sure you could find them for anyone else's wins too. Doesn't change the fact that they put themselves in the right position and did what they went there to do, just like Johnny.
I do think Johnny's wins had a lot to do with luck and being allied with the right people, which is a good thing but I dont think he could beat Darrel or Landon one on one, so it would be interesting to see how he would do on a duel, on duel 1 he was the 1st one out, but the elimination was a bit wack. He won partner challenges with some of the best partners so I'm not going to say that had nothing to do with it. I didnt realize how good Camilla was. But as the person above said anyone's wins can be nit picked, but I would disagree with Ev's, I think she deserved all of them, the girls being afraid of her isnt a flaw for her and rivals was no competition and if there was a duel my moneys on her.

What about the part where he performed well on almost every one of the mini challenges. In the ruins he won 8, rivals 3, exes 3.
He never is a weak link in the missions.
plus in exes he routinely beat competitors like CT , Mark and Abrham in MOST challenges. Look what he did in the lube challenge he SMOKED Ct both times. He and vinny are the two males to reach 3 or more platforms in the second mission.
Plus true Camilla is good, but Johnny is helping her more than she is helping him.
In Rivals Johnny was tasked with the pressure roles in the challenges as opposed to tyler (jump and release, hosing down, and climbing the rope) Its clear Johny was regarded as a strong partner
He is a dominant mini challenge player. There is no denying. You would have to be willfully blind to argue with the results. His political game is amongst the best
He is not a "great" elimination player, but he has won 3 and is the only one to beat Mark (Obviosuly)
His attitude and over exposure are offputting to some, and could make him not likeable. But that has nothing to do with his skills.
The only mini challenge he beat CT Mark and Abram on was the slip and slide one and Abram wasnt even there. All the others he had a partner; a very good partner. She is arguably the best female next to Emily.
I think he really knows the game and has enough athletic ability to get far but I would love to see him on a duel where it all is on him.
It's impossible to win any Challenge without deserving it. The game isn't all about who is the better athlete. It's multi-faceted and has a political component. Whichever person ends up winning was because they did and said the right things at the right time to put themselves into a position to win the Final. That's the textbook definition of earning something.
Johnny is a strong competitor and makes for good TV; can't ask for much more when watching these shows so I think he's great. He has a chance to win a 4th which will put him in an even higher elite tier than he's already achieved (judging by wins, which are the only thing that matters).

Rachel is better, but yes Camilla is very good, but so are Diem, Paula, Robin, ANessa and Cara Maria who have all made finals before and perform well on mini challenges with more experience.
He won the honey challenge , beat Mark, Ct and Abe
Second in the hook challenge beat mark, ct and abe, smoked first round
beat ct, abe, mark in trivia
won the log and swim challenge beat all the three of the above
Mark was only person to beat him on the jump from peg to peg challenge, abe and ct were bottom two
Slip and slide dominated his portion, was down and up in a flash smoked CT and Mark. Camilla couldn't "help" him here.
The final two challenges were a poor performance by the pair, and they had to go first on the last one. but for the MAJORITY of the competition Johnny and Camilla have been a superior partnership. Johnny won HIS portion of the elimination against a huge competitor, his partner can't "help" him in this portion.
Also Camilla is good, but she isn't on the Evelyn level of female competitors. Its not like Ct has Shauvon as his partner. As I said before many of the girls in this season have more experience than Camilla, and are proven competitors.

I think you missed the moderator's admonition in comment #68 above. Foul.

I doubt it. On Cutthroat they showed him and Derrick working out all the time and on the podcast Kenny said that Johnny's a gym rat and trains like an animal. If you look at him from the Ruins to Exes each season he looks to be in better shape than the last, it just got to the point of being really noticeable now.
The Real Johnny Bananas Sues Entourage
Posted on Aug 2nd, 2011 by Gabe 31 Comments Share52
If you have been following the eighth and final season of Entourage, then you know that on the show, our dear friend Johnny Drama is the star of his own animated sitcom called Johnny’s Bananas. Oh man, it is easily the best thing that has ever happened in the herstory of stupid Entourage. He plays a monkey! And the show is called JOHNNY’S BANANAS! Also Andrew Dice Clay is his co-star! I’m telling you, everything about it is perfect. All eight years of that vaporizer-weed-scented energy suck of useless Maserati worship has all been leading up to this one perfect moment. And we might end up losing the whole thing if a guy claiming that he is the REAL Johnny Bananas has his way in court. From ONTD:
An MTV reality star is threatening to sue the people behind “Entourage” — claiming the show stole his nickname, “Johnny Bananas” … and used it to fuel a storyline without his permission.
In case you gave up on “Entourage” … Johnny Drama recently agreed to be the voice of an animated TV show called “Johnny’s Bananas” … in which the characters are all apes, gorillas, and other primates
Problem is, former “Real World” star Johnny Devenanzio (pictured above left) says he’s been going by the name “Johnny Bananas” on various MTV shows since 2006 … and claims he owns the rights to the name.
Now, Johnny Bananas — the human — got himself a lawyer … who fired off a cease and desist letter to HBO, the network behind “Entourage.” In the letter, Johnny’s attorney Stephanie Ovadia writes, “If you do not cease and desist … you leave us little option but to seek judicial intervention.”
Johnny tells TMZ he believes the name controversy is “in no way coincidental and is instead an attempt to capitalize on the name recognition which I’m solely responsible for creating.”
I’m pretty sure the summer series HBO documentary Hot Coffee was about this. Sure, it might seem like a frivolous lawsuit to a bystander without all the facts, but really this is just an American trying to gain protection from the United States justice system from the egregious over-reach and dehumanized exploitation of multi-national corporations. Good luck, buddy! Of course the real Johnny Bananas also went crazy on Twitter because it’s called RESTING YOUR CASE:
If there is one thing I think we can all agree on it is that Johnny Bananas is a household name. Definitely. My mom is always like, “Hey, did you hear what Johnny Bananas is up to now? I guess he’s hosting a wet t-shirt contest at a nightclub in Denver this Tuesday. I heard about it on Morning Edition.” These days it’s hard to find someone who DOESN’T know who Johnny Bananas is. Clearly Entourage is trying to capitalize on this brand (LOL) by naming a ridiculous cartoon show within the show about a sass-talking monkey played by Johnny Drama. It’s called THE PERFECT CRIME.
We will continue to follow the TRIAL OF THE CENTURY as it unfolds. In the meantime, you should really consider following MTVBananas on Twitter. He seems like a LOT of fun.

It was so funny to watch how he apologised Camila because I feel like he wasnt't felt sorry at all. The way he treated Camila on final was very rude and disrespectful. Congrats to Johnny, 4 wins is huge thing.
I think it was funny to see how many people were upset that he won. Like they completely forgot Camilla won as well. I think if Johnny had any other partner he wouldn't have won just my POV. Johnny has had good partners on each season he won
The Island - Come on with Kenny/Derrick/Evelyn you'll win anything.
The Ruins - Was this really fair? Champs had it in the bag day one.
Rivals - Tyler was pretty good.
Exes - Camilla was arguably the best girl.
Mark my words though Johnny is a good team player I guess but if he was on an INDIVIDUAL challenge he would not win. But again just my POV.

Yes, it was discussed (mostly laughed at) here at the time.
I don't think Johnny would have won having Casey as a partner, he is not Landon. I don't like Camila either she annoys me, but I will give it to her, she is fearless and good at this things. Anyway, I will give it to Johnny, he has become good at these things, but he was also lucky that Casey said no and that Camila was his partner.

On the Island Johnny convinced Kenny and Derrick to work with him and made sure Evelyn didn't take his key at the end. That was part of the political game.
Camila also wasn't close to the best girl on Exes. Emily was without a doubt the best girl on the season.
I think Johnny could win an individual challenge but it is all dependent on who would be on the show. If it is a cast like Cutthroat he could very well be the favorite to win it.
What else does he have to do to prove himself? The guy keeps on winning. About him winning a individual challenge, it would be hard to say. Depends on the cast and the challenges, game dynamics. Obviously if he makes a final he'd be one of the favorites to win it, with his track record. Also on the original duel and The duel 2, the "clear favorite" did not win it either time, so its almost impossible to say.
I don't see why he has to win an individual challenge to prove that he's one of the best. Only two guys have won individual challenges and the Duel 1 was NOWHERE in the league of any of the finals from the Duel 2 on. Mark, Landon, CT, Derrick, Kenny, Brad, and others have all competed in individual challenges and haven't won either. The name of the game isn't "who is most athletic"...when it comes to overall performance, mini challenges, political game, social game and finals Johnny is one of the best.
The partner argument is a weak one too. Diem was easily the best girl endurance wise in that final. Johnny may have had the girl who was willing to jump off stuff and do whatever but of those three teams CT had the best partner. The guy couldn't hack it and Johnny could, period, the end.

So true, Camilla of the three girls in the finals seemed like she had the most problems holding up. It seems Johnny helped her, while with the other two teams at the end , it was the girls supporting the boys.
Johnny did a podcast with Jacoby from Grantland/ESPN and he said that Camila almost got them both kicked off for violating the drug policy and seemed pretty serious when he was talking about it. He said on the night she freaked out she went and found some random dude, pulled him into a bathroom, and might have been digging into something and since the drug policy is zero tolerance she would've been out.
He also said he thinks the next one will be pairs again.
Yes, it was discussed (mostly laughed at) here at the time.
haha Awesome - glad to know that I'm not the only one who thinks its utterly ridiculous!
I loved his tweets too about the show "ruining his brand". I didn't know getting drunk and acting like an ******* was a "brand." I've got a GREAT brand, then!

Honestly at this point I just don't want him to get the **** of my TV screen..He can prove himself in that way in my eyes.
Congrats to Johnny, 4 wins is huge thing.
Not really and maybe if it was individual or if he wasn't so **** conniving and manipulative.
Johnny always finds a way to win
Ct always finds a way to lose
It was one of the best winners in challenge history vs the biggest choke artist in challenge history.
Not really and maybe if it was individual or if he wasn't so **** conniving and manipulative.
How can you continue to detract from his 4 wins? Where would you rank him among the best males ever? It has reached the point where his haters can only attack him for being an *******. As he said on David Jacoby's podcast, he gets a lot of hate because he is an ******* to people's faces and doesn't pretend to be everyone's best friend like Evan and Mark.
