This is the first Challenge with no Road Rulers. It almost looks like they just wanted to make it a Real World challenge. I am assuming either a team dropped out/got disqualified or they were brought in as a surprise, like molds said, especially since they left on a later date, without the rest of the cast.
I may be wrong but I thought Rivals didn't have Road Rulers on either.
I may be wrong but I thought Rivals didn't have Road Rulers on either.
You're right. I stand corrected. I interchange FM and Road Rules sometimes, and Rivals had an abundance of FM.
I just hope the elimination rounds are not going to include everyone....meaning we would have 8 people competing in the elimination rounds... that could get messy..
I just really don't understand why they chose Eric. He is just a waste of space because he is a terrible competitor and doesn't really bring anything to the show entertainment wise. There is so many more people they could of picked for this freshmeat team so I am disappointed. But on a positive note the cast still is awesome in general.

I believe in redemption (and the heavy-hand of editing) so it is possible that a healthier Eric might have a lot to bring to the competition and maybe he has some entertainment value when the Mean Girls and Boys are not there. I don't think they have shown him enough to be able for me to formulate a clear opinion of him.
I don't feel like they were trying to trick the spoiler people. Either the standby team(s) had to come in for some reason or they planned this as part of the schedule. This feels like a play-in even though I REALLY REALLY REALLY want it to be because of a Frank-Dustin or Dustin-Chet smackdown. (I'd eat that up even if they stretched it into 12 episodes) :popcorm2:
I don't follow these people's personal life outside of the challenges, nor am I friends with any of them on Facebook or followers on Twitter, so would someone mind telling me what the beef between Chet and Dustin is?
I hope the guys are Eric and Brandon...that way their chances of winning are less likely.
I hope no team got sent home, but that would be doubtful anyway because we would know if an entire team was home by now.
Maybe this is a CT/Tina situation ala Cutthroat.
How do you think Wes would feel if TJ said, "Alright Wes, you have to face Brandon to get to the final challenge." Or "Okay Jonna, here is your opponent in the final elimination round: SANDY!"
I am glad to see Alton because I am curious how his role will be in this challenge and the dynamics. Without JEK, Alton could very well be calling all of the shots. This for sure will be a very interesting and different challenge. :)
To be honest, I can see Alton playing a familiar role as Landon did in Fresh Meat II. Letting Wes and let's just say Danny run the game and then at the last minute pull the rug out from everyone and make it to the end.
Eric has never been a good competitor, not on the challenges or on eliminations.
1- Fresh meat 1: Never won a challenge, and got eliminated the 1st time thrown in the Exile.
2- The Duel: Only won against Nehemiah in something Nehemiah had no control over, and lost against Brad in a physical elimination round.
3- The Gauntlet 3: Got a free pass to the end and what happened? Couldn't even finish the final and was tired since the beginning of that final and lost.
4- Duel 2: Again, never won a challenge and got sent home, again, the 1st time thrown in the Duel. (You can totally correct me on this one, cause I'm not sure xD)
5- Cutthroat: Lost against Luke, out of all people.
With these stats, he's clearly not a good competitor. He also never plays a good political game (I tend to forget he is even competing). He doesn't even bring any drama for good tv. The Laurel incident (1 out of 5 challenges) was the only drama.
BUT you can like whoever you want, there's no problem about that, I was just stating my opinion :D and said it based on his performances, which proves my point.
He won the first challenge of the season. Does that not count?
How do you think Wes would feel if TJ said, "Alright Wes, you have to face Brandon to get to the final challenge." Or "Okay Jonna, here is your opponent in the final elimination round: SANDY!"
Well considering that they are probably in teams of 4. And Sandy might not be on this challenge....a team of Brandon/Pete/Camila/Cara Maria could be intimidating.
....and like Tina was someone that ANY of the girls were terrified of either. :/
He won the first challenge of the season. Does that not count?
It shouldn't since 4 men GAVE him the win, he didn't actually deservingly win it.
Why would MTV add Camila to the Fresh Meat team if the theme this challenge is Battle of the Seasons? You would think they would at least try to get another girl from Fresh Meat 1 or 2 before they cast her. It would just throw things off if they added her to a "team" that she wasn't even apart of.

Maybe they did.. who knows? (Molds probably does)

I'm pretty sure we can all gather that if Camila is on the challenge then its not a Fresh Meat team, they will probably be a RW: Rejects team.
Two of the three FM1 girls are done with challenges and I read somewhere that Diem is battling cancer again. So rule all the FM1 girls out.

Chet said on a podcast that he doesn't feel sorry for Dustin and doesn't think of him like a victim. He equated Dustin's situation to someone pretty much doing this:
"Here's some money wanna suck this guy's ****? Yeah why not!"

TBH that does not surprise me the least Chet is just one of "those" people...he has something to say about everything and everyone. Everything he says and does to you, should remind you, that he is FAR more superior to you...like seriously, he is the definition of arrogance. I can easily imagine Dustin won't be the only one he decides to "pick on"...

It really goes back to that Aftershow though I think where they talked about the Fratpad stuff. Apparently, from what I can figure out from little bits here and there, it went bad. Chet had a script of questions that was supposed to allow Dustin to present his side in a better way than ended up happening. Chet apparently went off script in a way that was making Dustin look really bad (with most of it not shown on TV). During either a break or after filming, Dustin was supposedly really upset with Chet and had words with the producers about him backstage. Chet then got mad that Dustin was trying to bad mouth him to the producers and get him fired, or at least that's my interpretation of what I heard. They had a twitter exchange about it after the show aired in which Dustin wanted to know why Chet hated him so much and Chet called him something like a prima-donna for trying to get him fired. That was followed by a twitter exchange between Chet and one of the Fratpad people in which Chet was attacking them.
What if 4 of those Fresh Meat teams are there, and Camilla is there with 3 former "Spring Breakers". That would add to the new pool of cast members, considering 15 of the confirmed real worlders have never been on the challenge. despite the fact that 40 people is absolutely insane but who knows? maybe no one has really been keeping up with the spring breakers.

Is Chet in the closet??? He reminds me of one of those politicians that makes a big deal criticizing other peoples sexuality, when he has his own issues he's concealing. I get a Larry Craig/Mark Foley/Ted Haggard vibe from him.

LOL. I don't know. I think he is just so insecure that he is just too afraid to do anything with anybody and wraps it in that religious stuff to protect his own ego. I guess he just overcompensates. I just think he is a jerk and would love to see someone deck his *** on one of these challenges.
I should clarify there may be a dispute about what happened backstage. The version I gave was more the Chet version. Someone somewhere said that Dustin wasn't complaining to anybody in production but was just complaining out loud blowing off steam at a volume that others could hear it and Chet misinterpreted that as Dustin going to production.

Coukd be a possibility since every Spring Break challenger was told by production that they can be used for up to 5 years.

Idk if he's gay I know he's a virgin because he said he's waiting for marriage, nothing wrong with that. To be honest though the first time I saw him on his season I thought theirs the token gay guy this season lol.

Chet is a mormon. According to their religious beliefs they are not supposed to have sex until they are married.
Based on social media activity, my predictions are: Eric, Brandon, CM, Sandy
And to whoever sand Brandon was a breath of fresh air as opposed to Eric, um BOTE was the only challenge Brandon has NOT done since FM2 (3 in a row), whereas Eric has only appeared on 1 of the last 5 challenges.

That is true of most mainstream religions. LOL.
I don't know of many religions that say it is okay to be a passive-aggressive hateful jerk to people who don't agree with you though and generally antagonize everybody around you. I just hope he pushes it in Turkey and someone decks him--I don't care who does it. It would get an Emmy vote from me though if it were a girl who blacks his eye. ROFL

I am with you on that buddy!!! haha I want to see some punches thrown in this challenge!! haha
I thought it was hilarious when the Fresh Meat team appeared. I thought the DC cast was a possibility (DrewBee, Ty, Emily, Ashley); however, I was waaaay off. I might get some disagreements, but Alton is a good athlete I just think he isn't the same without Landon. Alton did well on Gauntlet 2, but in the other seasons I'm unsure if the teams held him back or if something else was affecting his game, for these reasons I'm excited to see how he does again; whether he has a team, individual, or mixed challenge.
