I think the wild card teams are San Diego and St. Thomas because fir San Diego if they can get past their differences and work together they can be a tough team to beat. As for St. Thomas Robb and Trey are both big guys and are both former college athletes as for Laura and Marie it said on both of their bios they are both former college athletes as well so they can be potentially a tough team and unlike San Diego I don't think they have any animosity between any of them. For teams like Austin, Cancun, Las Vegas, and Sydney who I think on paper can be very tough teams but they all have glaring question marks like for Austin can Danny and Melinda get passed their issues and work together, can Lacey compete, and will Danny trust Wes. For Las Vegas what can Nany and Trishelle bring to the table. For Cancun can Derek hold his own and help his team compete, is Jasmine only here for ratings, and can CJ make up for his miserable exile performance. For Sydney is Dunbar a real Challenge Champion, is KellyAnne all hype, and will Isaac and Ashli take this game seriously.
College athletes means nothing. See Noor, Latterrian and David (NO 1) off the top of my head for examples.
Las Vegas should easily win. That's by far the best team.
IDK though, I don't remember Trishelle being particularly strong. Is Nany athletic? I can't remember her talking about it on her season.
Since they all departed from JFK airport which is in New York I got a feeling this Challenge is going to be located in Spain, I know it's a reach but on the map it's almost directly across from New York and the past 2 challenges the cast departed from Miami international and landed in Costa Rica and The Dominican Republic which are both nearly directly across from Miami.
Thought I'd throw my 2 cents in.
Strongest team: San Diego/St Thomas
Weakest team: NOLA
Favorite team: can't decide yet, so I'm doing favorite people
Favorite males: Zach (strongest), Alton (most agile), Isaac (funniest), Chet (most Chetable)
Favorite females: KellyAnne (most athletic), Ashley (most athletic girly girl), Jemmye (most entertaining)
Least favorite team: Austin (can't stand Danny, Wes or Lacey)
Smartest team (for puzzles and such): Brooklyn (because of Sarah and Chet)
Most entertaining team: Sydney (just because of Isaac)
Underdogs: Cancun
New Orleans and Brooklyn are by far the worst but I'm really excited to see the Knight and Jemmye drama so I hope they can last a little bit!
I think St Thomas has the overall the best team. I'm pretty sure from the looks of twitter, they are all close and good friends.
San Diego though has two very huge, strong guys on their team so they be pretty tough in my opinion.
Then Vegas you have Alton and he is a great competitor maybe even the best one on this show. I just don't know about Nany or Trishelle.
Those are my top 3 teams. Austin may make it far just because of Wes's manipulation because there isn't many people on this show that hate him. (yet)

I definitely think Vegas and Sydney have the two best competitors on their team in Alton and KellyAnne.
This will definitely be a challenge to look forward too when there is no Johnny, Kenny, Evan, or Paula. Wish, they stop asking Sarah though.
Maybe I missed something but why exactly are some people saying St. Thomas is going to be a good team? We haven't seen anything and unless I'm mistaken I don't remember seeing that any of them were athletes aside from the red head playing D3 basketball. I'm not saying they WON'T be good, but it seems a little early.

Trey played some football and he is built like a tank. He looks short though. Robb's height could be a negative depending on the challenge. He seemed a little uncoordinated in that youtube of them dancing IMO. I think it all comes down to the format of the events (which is an awesome change of pace IMHO).

Trey played college football, Marie played college soccer, and Laura played sports in high school but in her bio it says she like to work out and is a sports fan.
I know this is a pointless post but **** YEAH ALTON! I haven't followed any of the recent real worlds, so I don't know a lot of this cast, should make it interesting!!!!!!
okay I'm done :D
Finally after like 6yrs we finally get a new story line than the same JEK vs Wes boring ****. This cast is the best I have seen in years and I've been a fan since gauntlet 1. Kinda reminds me of the challenges back in the day when 90% of the cast were newbies, like Battle of Sexes...can't wait to see this challenge, forget Real World: St Thomas, let's skip right to this challenge lol

Yea am pretty sure wes and his sidekick danny will try and manipulate everyone but the only problem is 90% of the cast is rookies so that might be hard to do lol nd for some reason i think zach is gonna be really good like almost on a ct like beast status and i think nany will be strong too she has size to her and is kinda feisty
Trey played college football, Marie played college soccer, and Laura played sports in high school but in her bio it says she like to work out and is a sports fan.
And Robb played basketball (I don't know about college) and I think he is like 6'6 or something.
Man I don't check Vevmo for a few days and bam the whole cast is posted. Can't believe they brought Alton back, that's awesome. Real excited to see some people who haven't been on in a while. Mostly Sydney, Austin and Las Vegas. Wonder how the format will set up. Looking forward to it all.
It's probably gonna suck for Alton on this one. He's only done a show with Tris****e and Danny out of the 31 other people on the show. ****, Tris****e's only done one with Alton but she at least seems to know some of the newer people.
My ONLY real complaint with this cast is that there are no castmembers pre-2001. Other than that, I am REALLY looking forward to this Challenge. I was prepared to quit watching after Exes.
I write this every season, but no one remembers... A common mistake most rabid "fans" make is to assume things will be as they have been previously. Now that you have seen, as we said it would be, that the casting is different, think about the concept of a multi-team challenge and the options that exist not just for scoring of competitions, but also for how eliminations can be engineered both for fairness and for drama. Certainly the producers should be aware that pre-show alliances frequently damage the overall show. It is not difficult for production to manage (work against) those alliances by making the power in the game an empirical measure of team performance in competition. Three or four seasons ganging up in an attempt to eliminate one season isn't necessarily good TV or good for ratings.
Also, from a practical standpoint, it's also about time that cast members began to more seriously think about applying the Survivor standard...take with you to the end the weak, the lame, the incapable of winning. For some of you, this would apparently mean keeping Brooklyn to the bitter end. Personally, I think Brooklyn may have the smartest cast, and with an obvious change in approach to the challenge by MTV, we have no idea what cast strengths will be important. I don't have the answers, but I have renewed confidence that the MTV brain trust has something different in mind. Would they have put such effort into casting only to give us the same tired **** in the end? I don't think so.
Like the cast! So excited for this season. I'm sure drama queens Frank, Dustin, JD, Zach, Jasmine and Jemmye will provide us with a pretty entertaining season. Also glad to see Trishelle come out of hiding :)
As happy as I am to have them on (Alton and Trishelle) does anybody else find it kinda odd that they had to combine Vegas 2 with Vegas 1 which aired 15 season ago??? I like Alton and Trishelle but they seem like the odd men out this season with all the new school season kids.

I don't think the matter of availabilty from Vegas 2 but them wanting Trishelle and even Alton but couldn't find enough Vegas 1 cast members to say yes, so they decided to just added Vegas 2. I find it odd and but so was Lacey coming out of nowhere.
I think BMP did a great job with casting for this challenge. I hope the abundance of rookies means that they will be getting away from the ridiculously difficult challenges that they have been doing recently.
With a JFK departure, anywhere in Europe is possible along with Africa (as many flights have layovers in Europe that are from the States to Africa).

Perhaps the best way to respond to you is to say (I think/deduce but don't affirmatively know) that MTV did everything it could to place Trishelle in this cast -- a Vegas 1 team, an All Stars team, or a Vegas combo team, it didn't matter, as long as she was there at the end. I've directed her on a TV set before. I completely get why MTV would move the earth to cast her.

African flights now have oneways through D.C and New York

I'm having a hard time understanding what that comment means. Do you mean because she's just super hot or just very professional on set? Lol.

Yes...:sofa:
She has a solid body (no pun intended) of TV and film work. The camera loves her. Her threesome on day one of the Vegas season is iconic in the annals of TV. She's very athletic, knowingly sensual, and if BMP doesn't find a way to put a deck of cards in her hands, they are complete fools.
For those who don't know her other than from Las Vegas and the early challenges, her is a list from imdb.com

Trishelle trivia: She was once roommates in LA with two other reality stars: Katie Doyle and Johnny Fairplay.
Tris****e is on TV a lot playing poker. Hopefully this means that BMP/MTV have finally abandoned the 13-15 year old target demo for the "whoever the **** we can get to watch even if it means Metamucil replaces Subway" demo.
I'm excited for Trishelle. She's obviously hot, I've heard she's a ratings favorite, I've never seen her on a challenge, and I'm looking forward to seeing how she'll do on this one.
Trishelle is one of those cast members that even though she hasn't been on many shows, she's managed to leave her mark and always have some sort of storyline. Her romance with Mike the Miz was interesting because it made Coral jealous, her bad bike accident, her jealousy over Mike and Kendal was great, her pepper eating elimination was definitely memorable, and who could forget one of her greatest lines....
Coral: What did you want me to do!?
Trishelle: Keep your mouth shut!
