Why do I get the feeling people are being negative and haters, just to be negative and haters?
You really should stop taking everything so personal and let people have their opinion or "feeling."
I'm not taking anything personal lol. I just find it funny that we have 2 "teasers" not trailers and people are already saying this challenge is gonna be ****.

Well, if some people do think it's going to be "****" then obviously the teaser isn't doing it's job. Maybe people are just ****** because they thought this teaser was pretty ****** and not because they are "negative" or " haters."
I don't understand the point in making this type of teaser where all you can hear is a bunch of random quotes and there is nothing to see. Honestly, I think it was kind of a waste and might turn people away quicker than it would make them want more. And when I agreed with the person saying he/she has got a feeling that this Challenge is going to be like The Island, I actually have a feeling it might. IDK why I think that but I just do. BTW, I don't think the Island was ****. I don't think it was great but it wasn't ****, IMO. Not everybody that associates a challenge with the Island thinks that challenge is going to be ****. I guess Abram, Derrick, and Johnny along with the fact that this Challenge is new and isn't some part 2 or 3 of a challenge and has an all new format is what is making me think of the Island.
I think it's funny how upset some people are about this trailer. Last week when the "See No Evil" trailer came up there were all these ****** off people because it didn't show enough of the season. Then the admins had to explain what a teaser trailer is so maybe someone would understand.
Then this trailer comes out and people get ****** off because it's not enough.
MTV/BMP is getting the kind of reaction they wanted. They're teasing us with just enough to make us want more.
I can't help but thinking all the viewers saying they think the trailers suck because they don't think they saw enough. Pretty much, that means the trailers are a success because they want to see more.
I think the trailers are fun. We know Cutthroat isn't premiering until October, what about these trailers makes anyone think the show will come any faster. We've still got a month until the first episode.

People think THIS teaser sucks, not because they didn't see enough but because they didn't see anything.

Honestly? I think it's because they've gotten lots of complaints that they give too much away in their trailers (which they did). That and there are people (myself included) who look through the trailer slowly to get as much out of it as possible.
So...better not give anything away. I mean hey, we still don't know anything about elimination rounds, challenge winners, team colors, etc. Normally we'd know all of that by now.

No, the fans of the show want more (I'm one of them), everyone else could probably care less.

I am referring to the fans of the show. Why, were you referring to a different group?
I am referring to the fans of the show. Why, were you referring to a different group?
Because the Challenge's ratings are terrible, the fans of this show are very few and far between, and if this show doesn't bring in more fans/viewers it will probably be axed after another season or two IMHO. And showing teasers that are only suitable for online probably isn't helping the cause too much.
I think maybe Insert Knife a bad promo but in my opinion I felt as if it was answering questions. And the annoying voice has to be Shauvon.
(Insert Knife)
Brad: You’re notorious for screwing people out of money on these games.
Johnny: I watched him lose an entire team $30,000.
(See No Evil)
Eric: People want me to fail as a person on this ****.
It would make sense if he said this because of G3 and how they still are bitter that people who never won like Brad, Paula, Robin were robbed out of $30,000.

You'll have to specify which annoying voice, haha :D

I agree. The mysterious aspect of the teasers doesn't really entice new viewers to tune in. I think MTV saw how lackluster the teasers are decided to just throw them up online instead of airing them.
I think they'll be better off with an over-the-top dramatic teaser even if they give away some spoilers. Look at Teen Mom. We all know what's going to happen to Farrah, Maci, Catelyn and Amber. They're all over US Weekly but we tune in to see the drama. Who wins the challenge isn't that interesting to me. I want to know how they got there.
The teaser maybe a new way of promoting the challenge but what they're showing us in nothing new. They're still bring in Gauntlet 3 drama. It's like Kenny vs Wes. Turn a page already!

I think they are put up online because of the way technology is nowadays. More people are starting to watch television on the internet via hulu, etc not to mention watching MTV shows online.
Also, the trailers could potentially bring in new viewers. To me, the trailers do just enough. It's not really being marketed as a reality show in the way that the promote Jersey Shore or the Real World. The past two trailers have made the show seem like more than that.
They're doing fine, in my opinion.
Why do I get the feeling people are being negative and haters, just to be negative and haters?
I find it so funny that whenever someone disagrees with the direction of the show or doesn't like a trailer we get the "you're a hater" and " you need to move on" comments.

Brad and Eric are pretty close friends outside of this show so I don't think this is about Eric. I think Brad's quote was directed at Johnny of all people, although that's just my intuition.

I think people have a right to say if the teasers suck or not, but to already call the challenge **** or comparing it to the Island when basically we haven't seen anything is totally ****. If you wanna say the teasers sucks go for it...but don't judge a challenge you haven't seen yet based on that.

Let's hope so. All along that's what I was referring to, I knew the fans of the show would watch no matter what this challenge was but I was talking about them needing to bring in new/more of an audience.

Well, if you look at the cast as in strong vs. weak competitors then yes, this challenge could end up as one sided as the Island. And to me just because someone compares a challenge to the Island doesn't automatically mean they think that challenge is going to be "****." I actually thought the Island was alright, not great but alright. I mean, look at the cast.... Derrick, Abram, Johnny, Dunbar, and Dan all of which were on the Island. And lastly, this a new Challenge ( Not another Inferno or Duel or Gauntlet) and has a whole new format (I don't really count the Ruins, it wasn't all that "new"). That's why I'm reminded of the Island when it comes to this Challenge. So if someone is comparing this challenge to the Island, it doesn't necessarily mean they think it's going to be ****** or sucky or whatever.
Well, considering I do most of the work around here anyway regarding this kind of stuff and most people are still ungrateful for it...I'll pass, thanks.
I still think you shouldn't give up. You can always ignore them i guess.
the person who says
"As soon i catch a drift of any foul sense i will switch the game."
Sounds like Jenn.
Yup, we've already determined that.
I think that BMP really thought about the ratings, and knew they had to do something fast. This second teaser showed us that this challenge is full of tension and drama. But it doesn't give too much away. I'm impressed! I give BMP/MTV 2 thumbs up!!
