I don't think that's what DA means. There should be a balance. For every physical mission, there should be something fun and silly. The show shouldn't cater only to those who spend 51,976,438 hours in the gym. The show should be innovative and unorthodox, while still challenging.
Yeah this is what I was getting at. There should be some middle ground regarding missions.
Or they could do what They did on Battle of the Seasons 2. Make the challenges less extreme but make so that you have to have some ability to win it.
I'm not saying get rid of silly missions but there definitely shouldn't be more then one per season
There definitely should be more than one IMO. They can also do more unique stuff too. Like the one on the Gauntlet 1 where they had to fly those planes in the air or even the one on Rivals 1 where they used a tow truck to crush the cars. That's stuff I think they should do more of.
No. Physical contact is fine. But I would want it more on the lines of Wrestling each other in oil than Everyone just wildly running over each other.
i agree. or even one where its as simple as catapulting over the water and landing on the bullseye (like in inferno 2) or the little motor bike one (where you can take a short or long path, ect)
i agree. or even one where its as simple as catapulting over the water and landing on the bullseye (like in inferno 2) or the little motor bike one (where you can take a short or long path, ect)
the road to god is straight and narrow
Lets get some thins straight.
1. There are veterans of this show that I like. I just don't like seeing the SAME ONES every ******* season.
So Darrell and Rachel are on every season? They must be getting that invisible edit.
2. You do have a point though Rookies do get a shot and you know what? I'm **** glad for that. I was happy as **** that Johnny(Portland) and Devyn made it to the end. And on another note I'm glad as **** that a new generation is coming on and taking these challenges by storm
Then why are you *****ing if you know these rookies are being given chances? There will always be vets and rookies on every challenge, that's how it's been since the very beginning so why the **** are you trying to fix something that ain't broken? And LOL at taking the challenge by storm. Riley sliding to the end along with Devyn is taking these challenges by storm? Then why did King Bananas and Laurel win?
3.And so what if I like the simpler missions? I don't have to like this crossfit/Army BS missions that they've been doing and I don't have to like these over the top, rediculous final challenges they've been doing for a while now. Back in the day some of the missions required Endurance some required using your head. Some where just whimsical and some were just plain awesome. Some were just plain fun and cool to watch. The one from the Gauntlet where they were all in Jets flying, The Inner tube tango from The Original Battle of the Seasons. The Ice Melting missions from Battle of the Sexes 2..All were fun to watch and whimiscal. I'm sorry but there's no entertainment from watching something like Bottleneck Stampede or whatever stupid heights/water mission.
Youre saying watching a group of people try to make some ice melt is more entertaining than watching an intense, original, slaughterhouse? Bottleneck Stampede was AMAZING compared to the old missions. I'm guessing you were also crying during Inferno 2 when they all had to do that beach crawl mission as the first mission too huh?
3.So ******* what If I want to see Nate/Priscilla instead of Darrell/Rachel? We've already seen what those 2 can do on this show. What else are they going to add? Whereas with Nate/Priscilla there's still unknown and there's potential there. I want to see what they can bring instead of seeing two people who basically have nothing left to give this franchise.
You actually think Nate and Priscilla have any sort of potential that even comes close to Darrell and Rac****MAO. Have you seen Exes? Those 2 couldn't even hold a candle to Tyrie and Jasmine! And nothing left to give to this franchise? How about entertainment? Or brining in old Challenge viewers? Or actual competition? Darrell is in 10x better shape than people like Cohutta or Preston. Not only that, but not all rookies are good investments. Some just do 1 challenge and never come back, even though they got a lot of spotlight by production (Pete, Noore).
If anything YOU are the worst challenge fan. Because you think that everyone should like the vets and worship them(especially that idiot Johnny backpack) and you treat these shows like some extreme sports competition. THIS IS A REALITY SHOW FIRST AND FOReMOST and you(and others) don't seem to get that.
Its a reality-based competition show. COMPETITION? This isn't the real world. Ever since Challenge número uno they have stated that there would be all kinds of elements to the show that have to do with athleticism, as well as mental and psychological challenges. Do you not know what the word "challenge" means? Let alone "competition"? Even I Love Money had some tough missions, did you cry for those too?
One more thing. If you want a legitimate sports competition go watch a sports competition. And I Love Money is not even on the air anymore.
I do watch sports, but ever since I saw my very first challenge (Inferno 2) I knew that this show was just like a sport but even better due to it including reality tv drama as well as competition drama. I'm not someone that *****es all the time about Johnny Bananas, I'm someone that acknowledges the acknowledges everything that the veterans have done but also welcomes the newbies to see if they can take over the throne.
But it you are so delusional, you think people like Preston are better investments than Darrell when Darrell causes more drama than Preston and will provide more competition than guys like Preston, Isaac and Cohutta ever will.
I'm not sure why I'm even arguing with you. You claim every person to have debuted on Freshmeat isn't a "real castmember" ****
So Darrell and Rachel are on every season? They must be getting that invisible edit.
No. But they've been on enough to the point that I don't want to see them again.
Then why are you *****ing if you know these rookies are being given chances? This Rookies and Veterans BS didn't always exist.

Yep. I enjoy the more fun/unique missions then that Cluster**** Mess that is Bottleneck Stampede. And you need to read my last few posts. I don't mind them getting physical but I don't want to see cluster**** messes like that first part of the first mission on Free Agents. They can get physcial without beating the **** out of each other.

We've already seen what Rachel and Darrell have to offer. They're good competitors but that's it. Neither of them are really entertaining in my eyes and you know what? I'm not wrong in thinking that. Nate and Priscilla are still unproven. So what if they lost to Tyrie and Jasmin? So what that's if for them? What if they can deliver in other ways? I want to see if they can.

You act like I want to see them play patty-cake. Yes it is a competition but that doesn't mean it has to be this Serious Extreme Crossfit BS that this show is now. And I don't care that this show is called "Challenge" doesn't mean "Extreme".
I
do watch sports, but ever since I saw my very first challenge (Inferno 2) I knew that this show was just like a sport but even better due to it including reality tv drama as well as competition drama. This show is not sports. Never have been ever will. The vets done alot for this show but they are the past. I'm the type of person that likes new things and looks to the future and the future is these new kids and that's what I'm focusing on.
But it you are so delusional, you think people like Preston are better investments than Darrell when Darrell causes more drama than Preston and will provide more competition than guys like Preston, Isaac and Cohutta ever will.
You're telling me that A guy who was basically invisible for most of his time on the challenge will bring more to this show than someone who's acutally Funny and entertaining(Issac) and Someone who has legitimate Storylines. That is hilarious! **** Even Preston making Johnny(Portland) serve him Breakfast in bed shirtless was much more entertaing that anything Darrell has ever done IMO.
I'm not sure why I'm even arguing with you. You claim every person to have debuted on Freshmeat isn't a "real castmember" ****
This is coming from someone who Obnoxiously worships that Idiot Johnny Backpack all the **** time and has the nerve to call me Delusional because I have different opinions than him regarding this show. Honestly I don't know why I'm arguing with you either.

You leave Cohutta out of this
Know what I miss from Battle of Seasons 1? ... Not Inner Tube Tango because that was a hurricane casualty and really showed Stephen for the *** he was even though it was still good. Give me the buoy climb again or Sidekick Showdown or the puzzle with the cars where Miz burnt the clutch out and Coral, his partner, could not drive stick. Those are the fun Challenges that DA is referring to. This is not to take away from some of the more physical Challenges but there needs to be more fun in them like on Inferno II where you did not drop until your heart rate slowed to a certain level.
I'm not fond of multiple day Challenges but I want more obstacles to overcome in a shorter time.

Those missions I like, I'll admit I was wrong they should have fun missions but just not easy ones IMO.
Im impressed by him beating Johnny Portland considering Bananas is 9 years older. I Know the order was in Bananas favor but still he would have made it a tight race if there was a different order. Im not saying Bananas is old but Johnny Portland is NINE years younger, basically the prime time to compete.
You leave Cohutta out of this
Compare Cohutta and Darrell and see who comes out on top.
Matter of fact, watch The Ruins and their elimination round.
Compare Cohutta and Darrell and see who comes out on top.

...And neither Cohutta nor Darrell have anything to do with Johnny Bananas, which is who this thread is for discussing ;)

What the **** I wasn't saying Cohutta was better then him........ I love him but he's not even close.
I was saying don't bring him up when you're talking about weak competition because he's not weak.

How old is Bananas? 31? As long as he is taking his training seriously the age should have no negative effect at all.
RACIST CRACKER!
