Well I don't understand the debating over abilities because it's hard to tell if Devyn is flat-out Casey/Shauvon awful based on Battle of the Seasons, where she was with a team and didn't come across as a joke. We could kind of see that she wasn't as athletic as her fellow team members. She didn't look to have the greatest endurance, but we've seen great competitors wipe out and cramp up during some of the grueling challenges they had. Just because she's really prissy and Sarah and Chet were talking behind her back, she might look like an awful competitor, but we don't know if she is Shauvon/Casey bad or just average.
I don't think Devyn is that bad, I can see her struggling in endurance like she have in the past. But other than that I can see her winning Physical elimination rounds.
This may not be a common opinion but I have much more sympathy for Devyn than I did for Wes, CT, Abram, Sarah, etc. BOTS was Devyn's first show, and even if she did know how crazy the finals are she probably didn't know the appropriate way to train for something like that. Much more forgivable than others who have been in finals and know what they're like and still didn't prepare the right way.
Brooklyn won the log mission because they only needed 1 try to solve the puzzle, not because of their physical prowess. Jemmye and Camila winning the swimming one is a win, but one with an asterisk beside it. There was a massive rip current for some of the teams, but not all of them. If you look at the Final, Paula and Emily were the first ones to shore, indicating that they probably would have won had it not been for the rip current.
Do you know for a fact that the rip current was worse for Paula and Emily than for anyone else? Paula and Emily were not even runner ups in the mission that Jemmye and Camila won. Furthermore, Camila was right there with Paula and Emily the entire time during the final swim. She has shown multiple times that she's a better swimmer than both of them anyways.

Paula was ahead of Camila in the final and I'm a Camila fan, but Camila and Paula are both great swimmers. Jemmye was nowhere close. So obviously the rip current played a huge factor because Jemmye is nowhere near being on Paula or Emily's level in any sort of physical event.
Casey and Shauvon are different levels of awful IMO. Shauvon and Katelynn are in a league of their own. Devyn's about on par with Casey after one challenge
I don't think Devyn is that bad, I can see her struggling in endurance like she have in the past. But other than that I can see her winning Physical elimination rounds.
I agree, I think she can win anything but an endurance match. She can swim too, right? Then I can see her being an Aneesa type.
She took swimming lessons in March I think. I remember her tweeting she has two huge disadvantages when it comes to swimming I do think she could beat some of these girls in a physical elimination but not the strong ones
Then I can see her being an Aneesa type.
Wow, ummmm...let's hope because we need a few people like Aneesa but I just don't think we've seen this at all

Devyn COULD be a Aneesa-type. Not good at finals, lack endurance, not the greatest at the missions, but a threat in physical elimination rounds. We have yet to see how good Devyn is in a physical elimination round, but given her size, I could see her eliminating a few girls outside of Laurel, Aneesa, and Camila.
I don't think she could beat Nany in a physical elimination
I don't think she could beat Nany in a physical elimination
Depends what it is...see Reverse Tug of War I still don't think Nany's proven that much--even less than Jonna at this point but we shall see this season
I think that Nany vs Devyn in reverse tug or war would be close. Neither of them outweighs the other by a big amount like Beth vs Ruthie

Maybe fresh meat 2 could give it a run for its money. So I can see how Sarah and Abram were unprepared and may have done better in previous final challenges. As for Wes, he was carrying way too much muscle on his body and that's why his muscles gassed. And for CT... Gassing out in the toughest final to date after setting an unrealistic pace for too long in those conditions after eating that whole head and carving through the ice tunnel. Also, Johnny bananas was using CT's footholes for most of the race, which helped him save the energy of plowing down into the snow, and then back out of it. Honestly, not a good final challenge for someone as big as CT. I personally don't see his "smoking habit" of being his downfall.

Okay...so what are we leaning toward as the final 4 for both I don't think we have any clue what guy left 5th--unless I missed something There's clearly some doubt with the girls. Theresa and Laurel seem like locks. Cara's close to a lock...then we have the Jonna/Jessica/Nany/Devyn group

Agreed - It's good for her that she made it pretty far into the challenge, but I believe she's out too.
nobody knows yet
Still unconfirmed. It's currently speculated to be a solo challenge.

Could be wrong but i wouldn't include Jessica in that group of maybes for the final to me she is a no
I also believe she's out but there still seems to be some doubt so I threw her in the mix
For the Johnny Bananas fans, yet another day that his phone has been off. I believe that's 5 days in a row. Again, not definite proof that he's still there, but I thought I'd share. Don't know who "favorited" that tweet, but it's very possible that it wasn't actually JB. Maybe a producer? Like I said in a past post, I could have sworn that I read a few people saying that the account of one of the final 6 guys on last season (CT/Wes, Johnny/Frank, Jordan/Marlon) either "favorited" a tweet or "liked" something on FB/Instagram before the final took place.
its soo much more bearable when huge trash talkers on social media like zach and bananas don't win and they just act normal on it. Where as win or lose frank talks a crap ton about everybody. I think the main difference is that for some people every episode every minute of the challenge some cast members feel they need to defend their edits, where as people like ct/nany/paula and others it's a show they are on to make money and they have lives outside of it it's not life or death every dumb thing they do or are edited to be doing on tv. Where frank/Cara among others are people who feel the need to make excuses, defend, and talk smack about every little thing they can during each episode. You can definitely tell who treats the show seriously when it's over and who is along for the ride and the possibility of money. Most of the vets don't obsess over every little thing, except maybe bananas and cara. Bananas more jokes about it than obsesses though but he makes a point to "joke" but it's also like trying to get his point across as well. I jsut hope he and Zach lose, and than id prefer ct to win, and if not ct winning, leroy win.
None of the guys had activity last season...But Diem/Aneesa/Jonna did had activity before getting eliminated.
i meant after the season wraps but before the show airs or during the airing of the show, not while filiming before it's over
None of the guys had activity last season...But Diem/Aneesa/Jonna did had activity before getting eliminated.
So, is Jonna not having activity this time a sign? Aneesa had activity...right? Never mind--saw "before getting eliminated"

Not sure why a producer would Rt something on Johnnys twitter? The social media ban doesnt mean much, mainly cause they can go on computers during interview days, theyre not supposed to but I guess production doesnt care to baby sit. I remember last season I saw Wes liking stuff on fb and I thought his team was eliminated, maybe some of them dont realize that ppl can see things like "likes" or articles you read on fb. Lol I quoted the wrong person. W/e I meant to quote the person talking about Johnny, also it was a Favorited not a RT, so maybe johnny didnt think ppl wouldnt see what he favourites

I am nto talking about while they are all competing

There's your answer
Can't wait to see you choke on your words.
