Doubt it. Pretty sure they know what they are getting into before it.
They don't know. Usually they try to figure it out before they get there though.
They have been on 2 challenges. Leroy- Rivals, Battle of the Exes Jonna- Rivals, Battle of the Seasons
I know, it's just a little hard to take in. Are there any good Rookies left? Unless they bring back some folks or new folks I see nothing but a chump rookies team or no vets vs rooks theme at all.
Trishelle is in L.A. Not big news and doesn't necessarily mean anything (although I hope it does) but there it is. oh and Anastasia is in NYC too.
oh and Anastasia is in NYC too.
the entire Portland cast is in NYC doing promo stuff all week.

I think BMP/MTV will invite some potential rookies for that and eventually invite some not so good veterans (Casey, Shauvon, etc) to even out the teams.
Well, you are all discussing it. I just opened up the topic for you. That doesn't mean I intend to participate. I generally only post by prior consent the things cast members have told over the years.
Fai enough
Ashlee from NOLA2 and the Vegas girl that plays soccer (Cooke?)
I dont see Cooke in the near future doing a challenge since she eventually was drafted Which 'Real World' Cast Member Was Just Drafted By A Pro Soccer Team? I def. could see Ashlee doing one since she is in a relationship with Zach.

Count wes and jemmeye in too. Wes had a 1 day trip to LA and Jem took a short trip to NYC. Photo by westonbergmann • Instagram Photo by justjem24 • Instagram
If Wes is really going, no reason to believe he isn't, I hope he's there for more than his appearance fee

Jemmye went to NY, Wes went to LA, how does that mean theyre going to be on the challenge??? Everyone went to NY so I dont see how Wes going to LA means hes on the challenge, Trishelle is also in LA? he said hes going there for work, w/e that means, and he missed his "appointments". It could be for the challenge or it could be real work related, but I dont see why they cant send them to clinics in their own state. Nehemiah is there too but I think he lives in LA. Camila is in NY too, are they flying from NYC????
If Wes is really going, no reason to believe he isn't, I hope he's there for more than his appearance fee
I don't. Having Wes and Frank both on a show is painful. I would've preferred to have had Wes all season last time than Frank, but both of them in it for the long haul? No thanks.

Considering that almost everybody hates Wes when production is filming this could and will probably spark a fire for a huge first night blow out. Vets. vs. Rookies

if he is going hes most likely going for the appearance fee, he was bragging on twitter about how skinny he is now and that he bought a new company for every pound he lost in muscle or some **** like that. If ppl dont care about the challenge then they shouldnt be allowed to go, even Paula shouldnt be allowed to go cause she said she might just get paid and leave. And Wes has been half assing it for the past couple of challenges, get some other train wrecks on there for entertainment
I actually wana know how much the vets get paid, Evan said it could last Paula roughly 8 months. How ,much will winning get her then, cause winning 50k is not alot of money for a year, its about average if you have a house and a mortgage. Or at least in Canada it is, not sure how cheap NY is.

A single person could probably live on 25k a year relatively easily when you consider 50k is the average for a household--that means families can survive on 50k. It probably all comes down to what Paula's rent/mortgage is

I'd like to see Wes on just for the Vets to comment on the new "skinny" Wes haha it probably would be funny but they would send him in early for sure with this group

I don't mind Wes being on the show because it is actually humorous to me when his machinations fail miserably and blows up. I think I've made my opinion on Frank abundantly clear.
I like Wes on the show, that is when he stays there. He manages to start fights and get ppl angry without much effort. Theres always someone screaming at Wes in the trailers.
I understand what you're saying but I hate when anyone just shows up for a check and doesn't want to compete
wait a minute, what? why are ppl talking like if Wes just goes for the appearance free, ur talking like if he intentionally loses his elimination rounds like the one with big easy or the one with Leroy on battle of the exes. i mean the guy was legit mad he loss to big easy and was sad by the fact he let Mandy down. the guy does want to compete, he is a master political for a reason and he does want to win but unfortunately he is always getting screwed over time and time again by other ppl and getting send into elimination rounds very early, I for one hope that Wes is on this next challenge and makes it to the final this time,

He claims he wanted to lose on BOTS and it was just an act. But, again, who knows. That could just be his excuse for losing. I don't buy Wes as a great strategist at all. I think he's had moments but he's one of the worst when it comes to politics. That's why he's constantly screwed over.

I just think he doesnt prepare for these anymore, like workout as much as he used to, now he just shows up when they call and goes with the flow. Mark said a while ago how he was so surprised Wes didnt take it personal when Johnny threw him in, he said Wes/Johnny had a beer after instead of screaming about it, he just doesnt care, he just wants money. You know who I hope makes it far this time, Vinny. Lol its as if he purposely tries to loose every time too.

Camila is in NY too, are they flying from NYC????
Because there are designated locations in LA and in NY that the competitors have to get screened. I imagine they do blood work and psych evals on each one to make sure they are eligible to compete. This is relatively new to challenges, I think it started on Battle of the Exes. But since we know that this is likely happening now, people that go to one of those 2 places, plus I think maybe Atlanta are suspicious to being on the next challenge.
I don't buy Wes as a great strategist at all. I think he's had moments but he's one of the worst when it comes to politics. That's why he's constantly screwed over.
Because he isn't. He made one good move which was convincing Evan to go for CT on the Duel 1. Everything else was either smoke and mirrors ("convincing" Evan to go against CT on Rivals when Evan was planning on going home) or him taking credit for someone else's machinations (Evelyn ran the alliance on FM2, Wes was just the mouth). He just says it so often that people believe it. I can appreciate him doing what he's doing on some level, as much as I hate to admit it, because I think he's genuinely trying to help out the show. He knows that he's one of the "big names" so if he goes, stays for a few days and does his normal Wes routine it's win/win for him and BMP. He picks up his check, the show gets more draw because some strange demographic of people actually like him, and they get their Wes drama footage. I agree with whoever said that he's not trying to lose...he's just indifferent at this point.
In my opinion he went from training really hard for the challenges early on to being selective. He was in better shape on Rivals then Fresh Meat 2 because he knew the format and he was going in with Kenny to win. Being paired with Mandi and then Danny, Melinda, and Lacey he already knew he wasnt going to win and didnt train. He might be past the point of training for them at all now but that remains to be seen. With the right format you might see him come in shape again.
Not a chance I'm giving up that info. There is a book in draft the contains some examples and I see no need to spill that info here -- on anywhere. But you are correct about Abram and there are at ;east two examples of challenge cast members who departed for other reasons without failing in an elimination round.
i'm most likely reading this wrong....but does this mean there is a book coming out with behind the scene info on the challenges? that would be amazing...but i'm pretty sure i'm reading this wrong...care to explain? lol

It does not yet have a publisher and it is far from finished. There are some interesting stories in the few pages I read a couple of years ago.
