lol bad edit? Booyyy, ever since she deboed Alex from Colie I was like, yeah this girl is a big no. Then how she treated Rachel afterwards sucks. Am I missing some good qualities from her in the past? ;)
No, I didn't mean the "bad edit" thing seriously... Usually if someone talks negative about a person on these shows...somebody comes in and says " He/She is just getting a bad edit" or it's an "edited TV show" so I just wanted to avoid someone telling me that... because I already know. I agree with what you said.
I think people should stop saying that she doesn't have the right to say 'I know how to play the game', she does know it, she has made it to the finals lots of times so what she hasn't won. It's like you doing a job for a few years then a new guy comes in and says: 'You're doing it all wrong..', very rarely they are right but it's not likely to happen. She obviously isn't the best but definitely better than loads of female competitors we've seen on these shows.

Jenn has only made it to the end Twice. And she DOESN'T know how to play the game otherwise she would play this game for herself and not for JEK.

Obviously she's done something right by making it to the end twice.
Obviously she's done something right by making it to the end twice.
She actually made it 3 times (Island, FM2, Cutthroat). And obviously she isn't doing much right because she hasn't made ANY money the 3 finals she's gotten to. She just votes with an alliance to keep her from elimination rounds.
Obviously she's done something right by making it to the end twice.
Three times actually....but hey, who's counting !?!?
I just quoted someone else who said she made it to the final twice.
"Playing the game" and "winning a final" are two different things. Playing the game involves GETTING to the final, and the final isn't anything strategic, it's usually just a straight test of endurance and willpower.

I guess that's where opinions differ. I consider "playing the game" when you have won. That's my definition of being able to "play the game."
However, I see why someone would think making as many friends as you can so no one will vote you into elimination rounds so you can make it to the end as "playing the game" and Jenn does that perfectly.
IMO she doesn't perform that well or anything, she just has friends. (Amazing how some people hate JEK because they think thats what JEK does, but still love Jenn). I personally think Jenn is an average competitor. Like Johnny, she looks like a great competitor among the "average" people, but among the really good ones, she's simply average for me.
I have no problem with her thinking she knows how to play the game or sliding to the final only to come last every time because of "bad luck," it's the obnoxious attitude I can't stand. If a rookie wants to play the game their way, let them do it, don't be all up in their faces like "I got this"... no Jenn, you don't "have" this. Just let them be.

Like people pointed out she got to the end 3x.

She got money for Cutthroat. Her and Emily split the bank account.
1/2 of the game is physical and 1/2 is political. Jenn covers all the bases. She is friends with all the players, not just JEK, like everyone is saying and she is strong. She is strong on every mission. Do people want her to actually wrestle Laurel or Evelyn to prove how strong she is?
I am not saying she is the best, but people underestimate her a lot and look at her challenge history, she always performs great when it comes to physical challenges.

I agree, I see playing the game as the strategic part of the challenges but succeeding in missions/challenges and winning finals as more of the physical abilities. I guess we all just see the term "playing the game" differently.

Her attitude has been really bad on this challenge, it's starting to really make me dislike her...

...but I do love her running ability!!! As she demonstrated on the Cutthroat final she really showed she can run long distance!! And I have to agree, she is usually solid in the challenges, not the best but good.

You make it sound like she does this all the time, but Rivals is the first challenge she has ever voted with the mob to avoid elimination rounds.
Inferno 3 -- Jenn was sent into 3 out of 4 female Infernos.
Island -- tried to vote off Johnny, but didn't have the power/foresight to consolidate a real alliance.
Duel 2 -- went into elimination 3 times. Was not part of any real alliance.
FM 2 -- did a really risky thing by becoming a double agent. She had a real strategy and didn't just vote with the numbers. She went into an elimination round anyway.
Cutthroat -- she was not a part of any alliance, as far as we saw onscreen. She just so happened to be on a team with enough weak females to throw into the Gulag before her. She was also lucky that Emily volunteered to go into the Gulag at the last minute, but Jenn was not relying on Emily to do so.
Until Rivals, Jenn has never relied solely on an alliance in the same way that people like Kenny, Dunbar, Johanna, and Paula have.

You're right I stand corrected, she did make money for Cutthroat. My point was that if you make it to the Finals, but never actually win the big money, something is wrong.
She has been an above-par competitor in past challenges, but I don't think she's been doing that well on the missions (besides this week) in the last 3 challenges.
I'm not sure, maybe I'm just getting tired of watching her because she's been on the last 3 Challenges and she has skated through to the finales. She just seems like a complacent competitor, and even all 3 members of JEK who are famous for their political game are also great in elimination rounds and especially finals.

This. Her and Ryan especially strike me as the type of players whose mentality is just: "The more episodes I'm in, the better, and if I happen to make the finals, I'll be around just as long as the person who wins, which probably won't be me."
I hate feeling that way too because I REALLY liked Jenn and her attitude on the Inferno 3. Her, Janelle, and a FM-less Good Guy team were the best parts of that season.
Cara Maria said that the last challenge was rigged and that they gave Jenn/Mandi the win because of the romance the girls had and they wanted to continue the story and not have them go in a jungle, would production really go that far?
I doubt they would've gotten voted in even if they didn't win. I'm sure Katelynn and Sarah would've been voted in anyways, unless the alliance wanted to punish Mandi for flirting with CT.

Wes wouldn't have let that happen.

I highly doubt that the challenge was rigged. You can't control water currents. The only way Jenn and Mandi would have possibly been sent in was if they DQed.

Blue didn't mean rigged like the producers set it up so it'd be easier for Jenn/Mandi, Cara Maria said that their time was not what the producers said it was. They gave them a better time than they actually earned according to CM.
well CM really dislikes Jenn it seems from all her answers so could be a lie, I don't really see producers going that far to influence the show.
She's also really good friends with Mandi. It really wouldn't surprise me if they did.
She's also really good friends with Mandi. It really wouldn't surprise me if they did.
Yeah wouldnt really surprise me either, like the Beth/Svetlana duel 1 elimination was a little sketchy, and maybe they thought Ev/Laurel/CM could get out of eliminations but Jen/Mandi couldn't? And when I saw it it didn't look like they were faster cause as she said they got stuck in rocks and stuff, I don't know maybe she is just bitter. Even the 1st challenge CT/Adam did look like they jumped further but they determined it by time, why didnt they just add more than 15 hash marks?
I like Jenn but she's rubbed me the wrong way since she went nuts on Mandi on Fresh Meat 2. I'm not even a big fan of Mandi but Jenn went waaay overboard, came across as a little nuts.
Jenn came off as such a phony dumb ***** tonight. Goes with the JEK alliance and puts CT/Adam first...votes with the JEK alliance during deliberation, and then turns around and supports CT/Adam in the Jungle and acts all happy that Adam won. I don't follow her thought process. Adam must've still been slipping handfuls of roofies in her drinks too because I noticed she was cuddled up in his bed again on tonight's episode.
Can't wait to see her fight with Cara Maria next week. I've been waiting to see what this is about all season. Regardless, I'll probably be team Cara Maria anyway!

Maybe she thought that CT & Adam would beat Evan & Nehemiah easily. I certainly thought they would just because CT could man-handle both of them at once and Adam could solve any puzzle. I think she was just trying to save her own *** even though it's obvious that Jonna/Jasmine are going into the Jungle again next week.
After this episode, I'm officially no longer a Jenn fan... That whole "Mandi you aren't the leader, we MUST put CT/ADAM first" shpeal was just too much and made her look so ridiculous to me

Couldn't say it better...and this is coming from a long time Jenn "supporter"...

There would be no reason to rig this particular challenge. The results for the Jungle would have been the same.
Also, if the producers wanted to rig something, it would make more sense to let Jenn go into a Jungle and rig the Jungle itself. Jenn has always been good at elimination rounds and good at making them exciting.
Ugh...as much as I am a Jenn fan, I do not like her attitude this season at all. I hope she does some soul-searching and comes back on the Reunion show with a much more humble mentality.
