Are you saying that if she does another, she will be considered a vet ON it, or AFTER it?
Are you saying that if she does another, she will be considered a vet ON it, or AFTER it?
On it.
You don't think the spring break challenge actually counted for a challenge, do you? I hope it doesn't :S
You don't think the spring break challenge actually counted for a challenge, do you? I hope it doesn't :S
Yeah I am almost positive it did. The fresh meat season counts as 1.
Yeah I am almost positive it did. The fresh meat season counts as 1.
The Spring Break Challenge was not a RW/RR challenge. Fresh Meat was. I don't think it counts.
The Spring Break Challenge was not a RW/RR challenge. Fresh Meat was. I don't think it counts.
Fresh Meat 2 was not a "RW/RR" challenge either. Does that mean that the new fresh meat will be screwed out of a challenge??
Fresh Meat 2 was not a "RW/RR" challenge either. Does that mean that the new fresh meat will be screwed out of a challenge??
You can't really say that because, literally it wasn't entitled RW/RR, but it was indeed still a challenge that lasted over a few months, whereas The Spring Break thing was only a week.
Fresh Meat 2 was not a "RW/RR" challenge either. Does that mean that the new fresh meat will be screwed out of a challenge??
The FM people competed with the RW/RR people, though. These people from the Spring Break challenge were guided by RW/RR/FM people, instead of RW/RR/FM people competing.
If it was a "challenge," which it was, I can deff see BMP making her a vet if they needed too.
Fresh Meat 2 was not a "RW/RR" challenge either. Does that mean that the new fresh meat will be screwed out of a challenge??
I think Fresh Meat can count as a RW/RR Challenge, since RW/RR people actually competed on it. Whereas on the Spring Break Challenge, RW/RR people did not compete, they only coached.
If they aren't counting that as a challenge then why would they even ask her on this new one? Thats just my opinion.
If they aren't counting that as a challenge then why would they even ask her on this new one? Thats just my opinion.
I've given up trying to get inside their heads...
I've given up trying to get inside their heads...
Why not? Seems like there's plenty of room in there. ;)
I think it's pretty obvious that Fresh Meat and Fresh Meat II are RW/RR challenges since they are season 12 and 19 of series. The Spring Break challenge is not a RW/RR challenge, it was not a season, it does not have a number. It was just something extra that MTV did that happened to involve, in a bit of an indirect way, some of the cast members from the RW/RR challenges. That and, oh it was crap. I made it through 15 minutes of episode 1.
I don't think there will be sufficient future challenges for rookies to become veterans. It's what many of the veterans are saying to each other.

Put it this way any SB challengers on an actual challenge are considered Fresh Meat or something like that!?!?!? I think some of us including me OVERanalyze things sometimes......just sayin'
I agree Rey, I think they are considered FM or something similar.
Yeah I have to agree with AJ Hill. I have been watching since the Battle of Sexes 2, my favorite seasons being (Inferno 2, Gauntlet 2, and the Duel) I feel like a lot of seasons been done poorly, I am a Big Johny,Kenny, and Evan fan cause I feel like they are entertaining. But I feel a bit Annoyed with them being on every challenge. Now I feel like Im watching repeats of just the same people in the center of every episode! After the Island, I thought Johny and Kenny should of took a break. (: It's getting me fustrated Seasons (Best to worst in my opinion) since BOTS2 The Gauntlet 2 The Duel The Inferno 2 The Duel 2 BOTS 2 The Inferno 3 The Ruins Fresh Meat 2 Fresh Meat 1 The Island Gauntlet 3
Its sad to hear this from many. I have seen all of the seasons and have watched them straight through a few times. For me the challenges were the original challenge up to Gauntlet 2. Fresh Meat and up was just crap. There were a few good cast members in Fresh meat and the challenges that followed but I always found myself only rooting for people who were on a challenge/season prior to Gauntlet 2. For Fresh Meat 2 the only person I was interested in watching was Darrel. that was why i was excited about The Ruins but Veronica, Syrus, Katie & Darrel were the only ones I was excited to see. It sucks watching the show now because I only like 1 to 2 cast members. Before it was just interesting to see who would go home, of course I had my favorites but I liked most of them or hated them but in general enjoyed watching the crazy antics. The later seasons dont speak real drama. Look at The Inferno (probably my favorite season): Katie vs. Veronica, in my opinion probably one of the best fights next to Puck vs David on BOTSexes. The show is not the same. No more Coral, Veronica, Timmy etc. Its sad and everytime I watch an old season I just think no wonder the ratings have dropped. I really dont believe it is just because they rarely air the episodes and there are no marathons. People just arent interested. Many have my friends stopped watching after the later seasons.
To me there's no difference between Katie vs Veronica or Julie vs Coral than there is between Wes vs Johnny or CT vs Adam. In fact out of all four I think CT losing his mind on Adam was by far the most entertaining of the bunch. I'd love to see a return of cast members from the RR: the Quest through Extreme as much as the next person, but to me blaming the lack of excitement about the last few challenges solely on the casts they assemble is a bit of a cop out. The last few challenges haven't been exciting to watch because they've all been one sided. I knew the results to Fresh Meat 2 prior to watching the season, but even without that advanced knowledge you would know the winner would come down to Kenny/Laurel, Darrell/Cara Maria or Landon/fire hydrant. The Ruins was the most one sided challenge ever aired, a ten to one beat down. The final four of the Duel 2 was pretty obvious a third of the season through, the Island was a complete numbers game despite Evelyn making it interesting, and the Gauntlet 3 was also completely one sided. Going over the rosters of BOTSeasons, BOTSexes 2, Inferno 2, the Gauntlet 1&2, Fresh Meat and the Duel. So much of the results were really up in the air. Road Rules could have won battle of the Seasons easily, Adam/Jisela, Yes/Veronica, Chadwick/Piggy, Josh/Holly could have all been in the final six for Road Rules, and Stephen/Lindsay or Norm/Becky could have represented Real World in the final six as well. It was a tight challenge with a lot of memorable moments. The Gauntlet was pretty one sided at first until the Real World purged all their fat prior to the final and won the final three missions going into the final. Watching it the first time, I was positive that the Real World was going to win. Road Rules just had too much dead weight even though they kept winning the Gauntlet. Battle of the Sexes 2 had stacked teams on both sides. Rachel, Veronica, Tina, Robyn, Ruthie all could have represented the women in the final instead of Coral, Sophia and Arissa. Brad, Mark, Steven, Shane, Abram, Mike, and Derrick could have all made it to the finals under different circumstances. The Inferno 2 seems to be most peoples favorite challenge, and why not? An 8-7 finish with the Good Guys and Bad ***** having stacked teams on both sides. Or the Gauntlet 2 with stacked rookie and veteran teams fighting to a closely contested 9-6 finish. Fresh Meat and the Duel were sort of individual challenges, but even within them, there were a number of options for winners throughout the whole thing. On Fresh Meat, any of Darrel, Theo, Coral, Danny, or Derrick could have won. On the Duel any of CT, Evan, Wes, or Brad had a chance in my mind, same between Kina, Beth, Jodi, and Tina. To be honest, I think if the teams are evenly divided on Cut Throat, we're in for a treat as I think Derrick, Brad, Johnny, and Abram are all closely matched to the point of putting up an interesting challenge.

This is my favorite challenge, so far. I think Cut Throat will bump G3 to my second best. We shall see very soon.
I actually didn't like the Gauntlet 3 when compared to other challenges. It was upsetting to see all the new veterans outsmart the old ones. However, I do have a certain level of respect for this season because it got the contract renewed (I believe).
I really didn't like Gauntlet 3, it wasn't really memorable, at least to me.
I really didn't like Gauntlet 3, it wasn't really memorable, at least to me.
Youssarian I agree with you as well. I thought it was the wors season In My Opinion, I've been [strike]seeing[/strike] watching since BOTS2. Some of you might think I am crazy but I think the Island was better (:

G3 was so stupid, all it was about was..... trimming the fat , trimming the fat, trimming the fat, trim... well you get the picture. It was terrible and ANNOYING !!
I liked it. I thought the cast was new and refreshing. It was nice to see Derrick, Zach, Alex, Angel, Janelle, Melinda. It was nice to have a rookie team with a bunch of people who never got a chance.

All the Rookies sucked, and I disliked Jill and Frank, and I disliked all the Veterans (except maybe Katie). I wasn't really rooting for anyone.
That season went downhill once Coral left. The Veterans are idiots...Casey was the one they should have been trying to get rid of before anyone else. Hated Evelyn's attitude and her assertions that Coral was somehow detrimental and "poison" on their team when she was probably their best girl besides Evelyn.
I liked this season, because I felt it had a mix of everything. Also I think it was this challenge that launched us into the new era of challenges...
