so im guessing Lurker isn't a CT fan.

I couldn't care less about Trey/Laura, but I really wanted to see Eric/Sahar just to see some new faces.

Off topic, you must be the first person I see using this expression correctly on the internet. Thank you!

And english is not even my first language lol.

It's not mine, either. Weird, eh?

Haha indeed

I thought Rivals 2 was the shit when it was airing, but after rewatching it I found it pretty average.

I couldn't care less about Trey/Laura, but I really wanted to see Eric/Sahar just to see some new faces.

Trey & Laura are much more entertaining because they had a real relationship, they didn't just kiss one time. Also they had a story line, something Eric and Sahar never had and probably never will.

I'm sorry but you all are crazy if you don't think it's 100% necassary to add new faces and characters to the challenge. AYTO is a perfect avenue to add wild new people that fans have fallen in love with.

It is necessary to add new faces to the show. However they need to be from the real world and/or road rules not some losers from another show that has nothing to do with this franchise. If they need new people then get cast members who want to do challenges that they either have not asked or they just ignored.

I feel like bmp looks for new faces but then don't ask people that want do challenges. Why not look into those cast members for new people? What harm could it possibly do?

That was over when Diem, Kenny, Evan, Big Easy were introduced to the Challenge. Speaking of that it's called MTV The Challenge now and people need to realise that MTV / BMP has not the pool anymore they used to have. People moved on and thus they need to start looking for new faces and many cast members (that didn't even do one) lost their interest in doing a challenge, because their life/job wouldn't allow them to do a show.

Maybe be getting people from different shows, they can start a new era of the Challenge with a Real World vs. MTV reality "stars" type of thing which would be the same concept as the "Real World vs. Road Rules" idea and this will even give MTV/BMP totally new themes that they can create.

There's no shortage of people willing to do the challenges

Sure? I feel like it's always the same people that get a call and most of the people that didn't do one are not better choices than people from different shows that have something unique and will bring stories.

Hey guys , do you think the challenge will air earlier since the loss of diem? Or will bmp cancel it?

A contestant of tila tequila die years ago before the show, MTV still air the show.

Didnt someone from survivor or bachelor or one of those shows die before their show air this year and they air it.

I think it will air, no idea when.

16 teams, I don't think that's a smart idea.

And Eric/Sahar and Trey/Laura would add NOTHING to the show or game.

oh please....

Yeah a guy died on the bachelorette and they did like a tribute for it. It was sad and it was my first time seeing him on the show so I can't imagine how  it is going to be watching Diem on the show who I have been watching on TV for years..I just hope they give her the edit that she deserves.

I think they will to a tribute message for Diem at the beginning, show her first few days, where she smiles and has a great time and the rest will depend on how her family wants it and then TJ will tell the cast about her leaving and they will show another tribute to her best moments and then the first episode ends. I would do the rest (elimination round and the exile) on the next episode and "start" the challenge from episode 2 again.

Gonna be so hard trying to watch this challenge with the loss of Diem. I just hope production doesn't do it in a distasteful way and actually respects the wishes of her friends, family, and CT.

I think they will give her a tribute and spread teh word about med gift to continue her legacy.

Seasons 1/Sexes/Sexes 2/Gauntlet 2/Gauntlet 3/Seasons 2 all had either 32-36 person casts. That is foolishness that all of a sudden 32 is too high of a number.

I mean we can't compare editing of seasons 5-10 years ago to now, that's foolish in itself.

For one, who said anything about editing? Two, it doesn't have to be seasons from 5-10 years ago because 2 of the most recent 3 challenges had 32 people (Rivals 2 really had 33), the only people who didn't get much airtime out of those 2 was JD, Mckenzie & maybe Tyrie. Everybody else got a decent amount.

I think Ty was more invisible than even JD.

Ty as well but he's shown what he's capable of bringing to the table in terms of drama lol all of the "boring" ones usually have. But even so, these smaller challenges usually have a person or two who's nearly invisible, imo the cast number makes no difference.

Um, I did? 32 castmembers today is way too many for people to get fair edits and comapring a season from the golden era to now isn't fair or reasnable: Ashley, Laura, Trey, JD, McKenzie,  Derek, Jonna, Jasmine (Seasons 2),  Ty, Leory, Dunbar, Camila (Rivals 2), Preston (Seasons) all got bad edits.

The bolded did not get bad edits at all & were involved in some type of drama or got enough camera time. Ashley & Laura are so-called "boring" regardless of their edit & the others have either showed their ***** on previous/future challenges or at least did enough to get asked back. The challenges now will ALWAYS be compared to the ones from the golden era so why when it comes to cast number its "unfair or unreasonable"? **** there were more so-called filler people then than now so if anything having bigger casts could only help.

Uh, how so? Trey's only storyline was "lol i hate it here :(" for an episode, Derek got that messy exchange with Nany, Jonna was pretty udneredited for someone who had a pretty big hand in Seasons 2, Leroy was **** near invisible in Rivals 2 had it not been for his angle with Theresa, all we got from Camila was her meltdown with no backstory to what happened there, while other seasons did have some story there,  Dunbar was a ghost. Ashley was a finalist, at the very least they could have given her something--portray her as a hero with her disgusting team so their win didn't feel so bad, at least.  And? I mean what does their previous appearence have to do with the bad edit they receievd on the seasons we're mentioning? I mean it will always happen, never denied that, but you can't compare a Battle of the Sexes cast to a Seasons 2 cast.

Trey was pretty much the black sheep of the house until he left, that whole Frank/Nany debacle was good enough for Derek (its more airtime than he's ever gotten on a challenge thus far), Jonna had the whole thing with Zach, the "i'm homeless" thing & throwing Jasmine under the bus, other than Rivals, Leroy got the same amount of screentime as any challenge he's done post-Rivals, if not a little more with the whole Theresa debacle & trying to stop CT from fighting. Dunbar was there for 1 episode & had plenty of confessionals talking shit, Camila had the meltdown along with arguing with Diem, & Ashley didn't get anything because she is BORING. It could be the Ashley & Laura show & it would be as exciting as watching paint dry.

You can always compare seasons no matter how spaced apart they are, people here do it all the time. We all know the golden era shits on pretty much any **** they throw out now; they'll always be compared because people know this show is able to bring much more than it's been bringing (with the 2 you listed, i've seen a good number of people on here say that challenge reminded them of older challenges so why it can't be compared is beyond me).

It's all a matter of opinion.

Eh I would respond to your final part but I'd just be repeating myself for the third time. Dont feel like arguing in circles tonight.

Im hoping it airs soon so her friends, family, and fans can have some sort of closure. Hopefully BMP knows how to present it in the right way.

Maybe. That's just a placeholder site. MTV has had one up for Scream since early 2013.

Then again, as gamer said, they may want to bring closure to Diem's loved ones so they don't have to anticipate and be anxious about it airing months from now.

I'm thinking it'll air in either January or Feburary. I feel both Skeletons and Exes will air together somehow.

this was written in one article "rumored that the program will premiere in 2015 following“The Real World: Skeletons,” which is set to begin airing on the network Dec. 16."

so I'm not quite sure they mean it will be playing after real world or if they mean taking the same time slot after it ends.
