The problem that I have with off-screen relationships is that viewers who don't do research or go to blogs are clueless as to why people are paired up. Yes, they mave have had a relationship stronger off screen than let's say Sarah & Jordan or Dustin & Jessica but at least the viewers know where that stemed. There was never any interaction with Nany or Bananas except for when they won a challenge together or during the final mission. Same thing with Rivals 2. When I heard that Frank and Bananas was paired up, I said "They never even met before?". They had to tell us that it was a twitter fight. Even Camila and Johnny was stretching it a little because you never seen them kiss or hook up on screen. That's the main problem with Bananas' pairings in Exes 1, Rivals 2 and Exes 2. At least they shown or hinted a Casey/Bananas moment in Gauntlet 3.
Also, I'm not a fan of duplicate pairings. Yes it's Diem and CT but I just don't think it's fair to have people who've worked together in a challenge already (and almost won) be paired again. They could have made it CT/Laurel, Cooke, Anastasia, Shavoun, Mandi and then have Diem pair with Derrick

They aren't real exes but most couples cast aren't, with the exception of knight/Jemmye, ct/diem, jonna/zach, averey/Reilly. But nany and bananas have more of a timeline than Sarah/Jordan or Nia/Leroy or other couples there. I know you guys want to see them interact as couples but I would like to see those who weren't on screens for it like zach and Ashlee. My issue is that site directly lied about us saying it was made up. Nobody ever said that. A stretch? Yes but not made up.
