From what was hinted at, it sounded like they begged him to do the podcast for a long while until he caved in. I think CT prefers his privacy, but I think it's nice he agreed to do the podcast at least.
exactly. Derrick kept saying on twitter that he was trying to get CT and CT said they begged him to be on it at the beginning of the podcast. CT is one of the biggest names from the challenges, so it makes sense that they would want him to be on it. He did them a favor.
Part 2 was hilarious.
They really need to make the challenges fun if they want people like CT back. Dang, let them have some fun! I'm glad CT talked about that in his podcast like pretty much all the vets did haha.
I think the reason he was getting so defensive on Part 1 was because the only reason he went on the podcast was to talk about his challenge history and they were more asking about his personal life, which made him mad obviously. Pretty funny 2nd part though, especially on David Burns, since he said he has no idea where he went, lol. Vinny being ashamed of losing and avoiding him after was pretty funny too.
2nd interview was better. He was really funny. I hope he's back on a challenge soon
"Hold on guys, let me pause my Xbox." HAHAHA!
CT sounds like a good time when he's chill and just screwing around. Also seems like one of the reality TV people who are the same person they are on the show as they are off the show. I mean, you know... aside from breaking people's faces.

Upon review of part 2.. I'd say that CT is 100% smashed.
Upon review of part 2.. I'd say that CT is 100% smashed.
Oh c'mon. Give CT a break. Just because he doesn't take this as seriously as some people doesn't mean his drunk. We've all seen him drunk. He's aggressive when he's smashed. I loved that his first pick for a team are the Williams sisters. HAHA! He mentioned Mickey Rourke from The Wrestler so he watches stuff beyond the typical action fare. He showed that he is capable of giving compliments. He spoke highly of Darrell and Derrick's kid, lol. CT's answers are a welcome antidote to what these challenges have become. When we have veterans like Brad who admitted to using challenge dollars as seed money to start his family, the fact that CT wants to go on a challenge just to prank people is a breath of fresh air. Perhaps if they bring the fun back to the challenges, they might be fun to watch again. Business trips are not entertaining!
To be honest, I highly doubt he was drunk. Kenny was trying to punk CT because he deflected a couple of his questions and CT just brushed it off and joked around. If he were drunk he probably would have been a **** ton angrier and not taken it as well
Wouldn't be the first time Kenny has punked CT.
I don't ever remember anyone successfully punking CT. When was this?
CT scared me on the first podcast. He was so defensive and confrontational. He sounded insane! On the second part, he still wasn't making much sense but I was laughing so much. It was really funny when he was getting under Kenny's skin a little bit towards the end. And he was abandoning the questions. I wanted them to ask him about Diem and about older challenge members like Katie and Coral. I heard he's been through a lot in his personal life. What was it? His brother dying and drug issues?

That of course was big fuel to his anger on the season (he admitted he shouldn't have been there because he already was angry coming into the show) and was part of the reason why that fight with Adam happened and why the 2 other ones on that season almost did.
Well, the thing about Derrick is he really isn't great at hosting a podcast. He's best when he is just bantering with Johnny and Kenny, but even then Johnny and Kenny provide most of the funny stories and jokes. Mark Long could've gotten a good interview out of CT, but alas.
Love Derrick but I agree 100% with this. He's a nice, cool guy but he's never struck me as the most articulate, intelligent of castmembers. And you need to be those things to be a good host. Someone like Mark, who is very articulate and intelligent is great at these things. The best podcasts were the ones with Johnny. He has a big mouth, has no filter, and he can talk. lol. He made every second on his podcasts entertaining. The one with Laurel was pretty good too because clearly Kenny adores her, so he was more into the podcast and you got the feeling that you were just hanging out with them.

And I wonder if he had some drug issues too. Even before the Duel 2, on Coral's last challenge the Gauntlet 3 he already seemed to be having a lot of problems and was out of it. I remember everyone commenting on this at the time. His brother's loss probably made it worse. Poor guy.
I don't ever remember anyone successfully punking CT. When was this?
Drunk wrestling, Kenny tossed CT on his back and then they started holding and grabbing and Kenny accidentally elbowed CT in the face and bloodied his nose. And then after they got up CT starts going crazy and wanting to fight, which of course he never got too. All of this was on the very first episode of the Inferno 3.
How does accidentally elbowing someone count as punking them?
Before all that I mentioned CT did have Kenny in a head lock... but CT turned into punk after Kenny got him back.... cursing, yelling, threatening, ect. ect.... he got punked.
That doesn't necessarily qualify as punking someone. Kenny = wrestler, CT =/= wrestler. Also, etc. etc.
That doesn't necessarily qualify as punking someone. Kenny = wrestler, CT =/= wrestler. Also, etc. etc.
Yeah, I guess I really should say CT punked himself.... it was his huge overreaction that made it a punk or atleast look like a major punk.
How was that getting punked? CT jerked his head at Kenny and screamed out of nowhere and Kenny flinched just like anyone would. Kenny got right up in CT's face immediately after and said "Let's go" and CT continued to be all bark and no bite and ended up doing absoluetly nothing .

Because calling him out on being a ***** for kneeing him in the face for no reason and yelling at him isn't enough? Dude, he's not some animal on the loose that starts all out brawls over any and every confrontation

"WHAT IF I COULD PUNCH YOU!!" and the other guy gets in your face and you do absolutely nothing. CT was just mad that Kenny took him down.
CT attacks Adam, he's mentally insane. CT doesn't attack Kenny, he's a punk. Makes sense, right? ****** if you do, ****** if you don't.

What was he saying when he got in CT's face?
CT attacks Adam, he's mentally insane. CT doesn't attack Kenny, he's a punk. Makes sense, right? ****** if you do, ****** if you don't.
I never said CT was mentally insane for attacking Adam first of all. But when CT is talking like he wants to fight Kenny and ends up *****ing out when he finds out that Kenny isn't scared of him, yes, that does make him look like a punk. Not to mention it's much easier to be tough when you're fighting someone half you're size as opposed to someone closer to your size.

I wasn't adressing anyone, just making an observation.
Can you quote Kennys words? What was he saying when he got in CT's face?
CT jerks his head at Kenny and yells "UGGRHHH!!!! I'LL LAY YOU OUT" Kenny gets in his face and says "Go ahead, If you want to let's ******* go!!" A bunch of words were censored in there so it's a little hard to hear but that's close enough.
