The City is an MTV reality television series and a spin-off of the MTV show The Hills. It documents the changing life and surroundings of Whitney Port as she moves to New York City to work for fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg. The program premiered December 29, 2008.

The show isnt that bad, i just dont like how in season 2 that Olivia's only plot is with that blonde girl who DESPISES her.

Me too! That first episode where she went off on things not being her job I was just speechless!
I watch this but I don't really "pay" attention. That being said, the most exciting part of Olivia being challenged. I think both of them are unprofessional but it is scripted. lol.
The City made me crazy last nite! How on earth does Erin keep getting in trouble for everything that Olivia does?

Thank you, thats what im wondering. Honestly im starting to think that they arent trying to blame olivia for anything because she is a [I]Socialite[/I] and the fact that she is giving Elle some more exposure. I like Erin, but Olivia drives me nuts.
Season 2 is WAYYY better then season 1. I loved whitney on the hills and then when she came to the city i was like **** who are all these people. I didnt even watch the whole season maybe like 2 episodes. But this season had me at the promos. I like how they are only focusing on 4 people although where Erin and Olivia are concerned, im tired of seeing Erin's jealous side.

I didn't watch season one either!! I found it so boring! but this season I'm always looking fwd to the following week!
I can't blame Erin... I think she's at wit's end... I don't think it's jealousy though... i think it's aggravation!! I don't think this exposure is helps them at all! Makes Joe look like an idiot!
True, but i think they hired Olivia strictly for publicity and Joe even said he wanted it to work out with Olivia.

The Beginning with Roxy and Whitney were boring, **Yawns** still doesnt understand why Whitney has a show in the first place, she barely had any REAL storyline on the Hills and she cant carry her own show. THe only good part was at the end when Kelly snapped on whitney ***** NOW she needs her own show.
I'm Glad that Erin finally spoke up and said something to Joe, beacuse it needed to be said and i cant STAND Olivia and i hope she gets fired lol

I like the City but Im getting tired of only seeing Olivia and Erin at work and just seeing Roxy and Whitney at work as well and mbye somewhere else...they need to switch it up next season, but this was really a good season for the city, who im my opinion, was a hot mess last season.
I think it was a great season this year... I like watching them at work... & I can't wait to see tommorow nite... when Erin tells Joe that 'it's her or me'!

I can not believe that Whitney still took Roxy on that meeting!!! & how could they end the season without finding out if Erin & Olivia still have a job!!!! This was not a good finale... more like the episode before the finale!
But I'm sooo excited Kelly is getting her own show! FINALLY!

I've been wanting to get the city on dvd season 1 but i was curious if the dvd comes with deleted scenes or is it more worth it buying it episode by episode?
