Is there any reason for that? The order they go home has more to do with their partners than their own athletic ability/personality.
I know that they didn't get to showcase their athleticism, but I found most of the people who left early (especially Jeff) really uninteresting. Granted the fact that they went home so quickly meant less camera time, so less personality, but I didn't really think I would rather watch them than the older faces. I'm still not a fan of them aside from Brandon and Cara, but since they surprised me this time maybe Sydney Sandy and Jeff would surprise me too. Who knows.
Am I the only one who really didn't see much from this guy? I know I'm gonna get attacked for that, but hear me out. Sure Brandon went into 3 gulags and won, but honestly, did he even face a good competitor in any of them? Derek and JD were easy wins and he only beat Ty because Ty somehow lost all his energy in 15 seconds. I'm not saying he's bad, but I just don't understand all of the praise. Like comparing him to Derrick on G2, well Derrick beat Adam, Brad, Ace, and Syrus; all of whom have either won or made it to the end. JD and Derek will never do that, assuming they actually get asked back which is doubtful as well. Again, I'm not saying he's bad, I just don't understand what he did that was so special besides going in. Maybe if he was on a different team it would be a big deal, but looking at the guys on his team, who do you vote in then?

While he is not tall (neither is Derrick), his body is rock solid. His aerobic conditioning is his strength, but he lacks nothing in upper body development and he isn't going to be a juicer as clearly some others have been. In my opinion, he in a better physical competitor today than Ace ever was. Ace's core game was always the social one. JD and Derek both bring assets that both BMP and MTV want for their audience (diversity, for one thing), so unless you have some uniquely qualifying insight, then you're all wet with regard to them not coming back (unless the next challenge is the last and you're right by default). As for the comments in bold above, just how can it detract from Brandon if Ty's pre-game conditioning was so absurdly wrong? In theory, Ty should have been able to win easily, in a CT vs. Bananas kind of way. In reality, all his smack talk was just a lot of hot air. Brandon brought it and deserves the recognition until he loses to someone of known mediocrity.
Well, he got pwned by Derrick so he's definately not at that level (yet).

Like it just blew my mind as to how he could be their best player just by beating 2 lollipops and an out of shaped buff guy. Again, he's not bad, but the best on the team? I just don't get what's so special about him besides going in multiple times. Like Sarah went into 5 Gauntlets on G1 but was she the best player on the team? Not even close. Just in my honest opinion, I think Brandon deserved to go into the last 2 that he did at the least just based on the mission that day. However had he beaten Derrick, I'd have said that he wouldn't have gone in again or at least didn't deserve to at that point.
Obviously because Derek is gay means it was an easy win for Brandon......
Derek put up a helluva fight, he definitely wasn't an easy win.
