Cut Throat - Chet Cannon

I love Chet!!!! Can't wait to see him on the challenge.

He has been the only person from that season who has stuck to his guns and followed any sort of logical career development path. Some of his videos have surprised me with their underlying wit. I am sure he gets his behind whipped, but I am not sure he is the kind of guy who minds that in the long run. Don't love him but I do kind of respect him.

Whenever I see Chet I think purple and bow ties. Let's see if he has what it takes the second time around.

I like Chet, to an extent. Sometimes he's bearable, but sometimes he gets on my nerves SO much. I would like to see him compete more than one episode this time around and actually prove to be more than the bow tie, glasses, and skinny jeans.

In the trailer he's carried off in a stretcher. Anyone think his replacement will be you-know-who?

So I know this thread is slow (being no one cares) but I thought I'd offer something. I was checking facebook and randomly saw a messge from Chet and decided to respond. He immediately de-friended me. Which is hilarious in itself (i.e. he doesn't want people with half a brain looking at the idiotic stuff he posts.) Hahahah Bacchus that's classic. And trees, some people just want more privacy than others. I know some castmembers will glady be friends with anybody on myspace, but because Facebook is more personal, they only add personal friends.

I concur with Katie in regards to Johanna. Chet, Wes, Nehmiah, and many other are friends on my facebook not myspace.

Maybe she was busy, or maybe she just doesn't want to talk to fans? I can see why she didn't respond, which is why I try not to bother the cast members too much, because I'm sure a lot of people do.

This is so off topic but she has me her on her friends list. You got to understand it from there part to sometimes they cant find personal friend requests because theres to many fan requests.

Does Chet have a membership on here?.

Chet is sort of an odd cat for me. That he unfriended Bacchus over one post seems weird to me. As far as the Challenges, I think he knows he is in a bad place just because he is not a hard-partier looking to score and he has created that hipster personna. As far as I can tell, he is just buying time waiting for something to break for him on TV and knows he is never going to make it to the end of one of those. I think he said something during Brooklyn that Ryan used to step up to defend him when people said smack about him when they were on the streets, so he doesn't seem to be cut throatish by any stretch of the imagination. I do find it intriguing that he hints around that he and Ryan are working on something together since Ryan allegedly wants to go back into a life of "quiet obscurity", not that I ever bought that story for taking down his FB. Chet does bend over backwards to keep in touch with his fans compared to a lot of his comrades, so I give him points for that.

I don't know - I think Chet though he was kind of "in" on this challenge because he'd already done one, and he seemed disappointed that some people voted for him. The Facebook thing - I think he just meant that he was not trying to use the French version, and I think that's what he was trying to say to the poster. But yeah, it is interested Bacchus was taken off the friends list over that.

As for him "kicking" me from his facebook, clearly he was angry. He hated being called out and felt he had no other recourse. He's just a [I]frustrated[/I] guy. I hold no ill will.
