Last episode was pretty good! Wonder if that "life after death" stuff will come back later on.
Next week is "another Dollhouse event we can't miss!" dun dun dunnnn
Looks like Agent Ballard finds the Dollhouse! Can't say this show isn't moving along...
The series finale is on tonight, right?
So far, it's the "season finale", yes. Sadly, we'll have to wait to find out Dollhouse's fate.
EW gave tonight's episode a B, which is pretty OK for them.
I hope it gets renewed. I'd love to see a Fringe/Dollhouse night on Fox. But yanno, that'd be the smart thing to do...

If they would have done Fringe/Dollhouse - this show would be pulling 8-9 million viewers a week. They killed it out of the gate. This was expected. WE CALLED IT (reading back.)
I gave up only 5 episodes in, but I have heard very good things about the series from episode 6 on.
Yet, I didn't want to commit to a dead show and what I watched was so-so. I've been burned too many times...

Yeah, I think the original plan was for Fringe to air before dollhouse on tuesdays, but then reshoots on dollhouse happened.

Yeah, it got good around there.
So i'm very much convinced that Dollhouse deserves to be renewed. Tonights episode is just plain AMAZING.
Jake - I'm so glad you're with me on this one.
Dollhouse may have been just "ok" in the first 5 episodes...
From 6 on, it was nothing short of brilliant. And I'm not just saying that cuz I'm a Whedon fan. It. Was. Fantastic.
I will 100% be buying this on DVD.

Haha, yeah, been a fan of Joss whedon's show since i was little :)
Btw, There's some interesting things floating about the show, mainly things that have showed up on websites about a second season.
END OF SHOW Dollhouse renewed? Not yet, say FOX.
btw, ratings for the finale were the worst in the show.

2.8 million, 1.0 in 18-49 demo
If Fox were to give up their rights to the show, it would be a nice fit on the SciFi channel.
oof. I'm serious though...give Dollhouse 4-6 episodes next year, right after Fringe. That would be actually giving it a chance to survive!
The show has been bleeding viewers down the stretch and started off with so few, I think Fox would be better served trying out a new concept for the time slot or just running repeats of cops (which pulls millions more viewers.)
Especially when it hasn't even bottomed yet. It probably would just keep falling into the low 2 million viewer range (upper million range) and give mid range cable series like The Real World a shot at bragging rights against a network show!
BTW: The numbers where updated as Prison Break actually bled over. 1.0 - 2.75 Million
The word on the street today is that Dullhouse will return.
Prepare to scope new ratings lows! ;)

Yeah. Joss pitched his ideas for Season 2 last week and from what i've heard, we'll be getting an official announcement monday.
Darn it, bacchus beat me to it! This is what I get for celebrating :(
But THANK GOD it's BACK!!!
I'm going to wait for the ratings on the first two episodes before even considering watching the last 6 of this season.
But, I'm not out. Just on the sidelines.
p.s. And yes, I am watching at least 60 entertainment based twitter feeds in real time all the time. I have a 22 inch screen dedicated to it. :D
Wow.
WOO!

So exciting! Honestly, Bacchus, the episodes you missed are totally worth it, even if the show doesn't make it past season 2. They are that good. Watch them, I tell you!
I really didnt think it was going to happen but i'm PUMPED about it. Now we just have to cross our fingers that they'll try giving it a Mon-Thurs placement...

They already said it would remain on Fridays and that they would be cutting its budget by at least half, lol.

Well, let's be glad they even renewed it with the ratings season one got.
Ray Wise moves into the Dollhouse as a higher up boss-man.
He last played Lucifer on Reaper.
I am guessing that the second season gets pulled after 7 or 8 weeks. That or Fox loses to the CW and Univision week in and week out in that time slot. :D

If only Jamie Bamber can get the Battlestar fans to back this show, we'd be sittin' pretty.
Yeah, it's amazing it got renewed, but we're not out of the clear yet. (haha "we")
Dollhouse starts THIS FRIDAY AT 9PM ON FOX! Your Vevmo homework is to watch it. kthx
