To me Adam plays his lack of size as a reason he would never instigate a fight. When in reality he does gossip and that ****** people off male or female. With an aggressive personality like CT those 2 just clash because they are soo different. I do think though using his lack of size as a reason like "hey, why would little old me pick on big old CT," Well than don't talk to Diem how no one likes him and do things that you know will upset him. He than says I am 150 lbs why would I try to fight him. But there is many ways to start a fight rather than throw first punch imo. There's a lot of ways to instigate and has nothing to do with size. They are both at fault in this situation. CT clearly flies off the handle over anything but Adam knows what to do to get him ******, especially with their history. He didn't specifically say to Diem they hooked up but he did say if he hears anything he would tell her immediately. Both were wrong in their own ways, both deserved to go home imo

Welcome back Realdeal!! Haven't seen you 'round here in a while...your review thoughts were fabulous...well said. :)
I was shocked at the way Adam kept coming back--he could clearly see how enraged CT was, and even AFTER CT hit him (at that point, he was already going home), Adam kept getting in his face. I don't understand why Adam wouldn't leave him alone. Not a fight Adam can win (shouldn't he know that by now?) It doesn't justify CT getting so insanely violent, but I'm curious just what exactly Adam's mindset was that evening. I know there's a lot of history there, but still. Another thing that shocked me: Diem really seemed to have broken CT's heart (see, he's not a TOTAL monster!) Oh, and what career is Diem talking about? She's not referring to the challenges, is she?!
Thank you OPD!! :) xoxo

She is an apparently successful entertainment reporter for British Sky Broadcasting Group, "Sky." She hosts a show called "Hollywood Hangover" and does other reporting. The company serves the UK and Ireland and is similar to DirecTV or Comcast. If Diem had broken CT's heart, he would not have had the stripper/dancer girl friend as long ago as Jan 4, 2008, which is when I recall seeing the two of them in the lobby of the Paramount Hotel in NYC at the time of the 25 Greatest Challenge Moments taping at MTV. If Diem had broken CT's heart, he would not have said the terrible things about Diem that he said to Beth and her finance at the Real World Awards Bash.

Just because he had a stripper girl right after doesn't mean she didn't break his heart. She could of been a rebound and CT probably didn't know how to handle it. He seemed legit about her and bitter about the 5 year thing she said. I mean how do you take, "I'll be with you in 5 years" that's a hard thing to understand. Diem wanted him to admit soo bad that it was all a facade he was just trying to act like it was over but I think both sides still were in love at least in some form. But when was taping of that anyway? They could of moved on by now. What if they got married in 5 years that would be ridiculous.

But when was taping of that anyway? They could of moved on by now. What if they got married in 5 years that would be ridiculous.
How do I take it? It is quite simple. It is an expository statement telling us why she was not ready for any serious relationship at that point in her life and, further, that perhaps she would be ready in five years time. What actually happened during the aftershow, according to people present, is that Diem repeatedly said she was over him and he stated the same. Both have moved on. That was intentionally not what was shown in the edit possibly because the Aftershow is supposed to point to events during the taping of the challenge and not the state of things so many months later.

I understand what you mean V1 and see why Diem feels she was not ready and possibly in the future she could be. All i meant is that is tough to take for a guy to hear maybe in 5 years when he wants to be with her now. Not just the guy but any other half that hears that, that can be a tough reason because no one will just wait around. Not that Diem wanted him to just wait around but from Ct's standpoint I can see how that is hard to deal with. But he shouldn't of been such an *** and maybe she would of been ready i was just saying the whole in 5 years reason i personally would have trouble dealing with when i loved someone and wanted them now. There doesn't have to be one meaning there could be multiple interpretations behind what she meant. I know you know straight from the source but from what they show there can be a lot of interpretations and all we see is what they show us from a fan standpoint.

Out of curiosity, why was Diem so agitated about the past if she was over him and said it multiple times she was? I thought she was trying to act over it but didn't seem to be but that could just be the edit so that could be what MTV wants to portray. Although every time she is in an argument she sounds about to cry so it could just be conflict that causes all that emotion for her

That is how different the edit is from what actually happened, in her view. That is worth thinking about.
I hate to say this but I am sick over what MTV did to CT. I understand that CT is a good character for TV and it boost ratings but come on. Didn't they know that he was a ticking time bomb with everything that is going on personally with him. MTV sometimes has to think less about ratings and more about peoples feelings, because eventually someone will get really hurt and MTV will see the repercussions of this

They care no more (perhaps less) for their cast than they do for their own employees.

If you would like to talk about something other than Ct or Diem on the aftershow basically dedicated to them feel free. Since the whole aftershow was dedicated to them/fight and this is the aftershow 1, it seems logical as a fan to try to get as much information of what TRULY happened as i can being a fan of the show. I am over it. The aftershow just left a lot open for interpretation which V1 has cleared up quite well. I was a fan of those 2 because it showed CT can have a different side to him if he chooses, which i liked. Since V1 knows all the dirt, he is a great source to answer all the questions which he has answered them all so thank you V1. There are a lot of different ways to look at it from each person's perspective. It is interesting to see what actually is edit and what is fact which i can only find out through people who know.

Care to "revise and extend" your remarks as they call it in Congress, or was it your intention to insult my intelligence by basically saying that my comment was worthless ****. You decide; the clock is ticking...

Let's respect that, and not just blow off whatever he says when clearly he wouldn't post anything to us without careful thought. Give us some credit, mmmkay?
Just out of curiosity, is the CT and Diem situation reminding anyone else of Ross and Rachel's "We were on a break!" episodes of Friends?
I'm surprised that so many people thought CT came off well. I thought no one came off well. I'm sure some of it was editing, but Shauvon seemed like she totally flew off the handle and became defensive and insulting when Diem even hinted she had done something wrong, Diem seemed like she was overwhelmed and distraught, and CT...well, honestly, I thought CT was behaving very strangely and in a way that was out of sync with everyone else. He just seemed way too relaxed and casual; it was a total disconnect from the environment on stage. And his voice sounded almost like he was doing a cutesy/baby voice the whole time. It struck me as very odd.

I saw Diem on MTV's Made today from 2007. She was still with CT and organizing a charity event :)
