Maybe they could do like a mix of old and new by having Chet and Mark host as a pair. Both have some prior experience and would definitely be a great change away from TJ

If Chet were to host, I think it would be best if he had a co-host, to keep him from making it about himself. I get the feeling he would try to get a lot of attention on himself, and I think a co-host would prevent some of that since there would be another host to pay attention to. I think it might be best for Chet to actually do a challenge first, though, to acclimate some, before being considered. And I think it would be best for him to get more hosting experience before being considered for hosting a challenge. To me he doesn't come across as very natural in delivery, though I thought he did a decent job in some of his interviews for the most part. I admit there are others I'd want to see before him, though, in a hosting job for the challenge.

But its not really mandatory for him to have participated.
No, not mandatory. I just think perhaps it might be good for him to get used to the challenge environment and some of the personalities first. I think it's good for a host who is a cast member to be familiar with everything.
You guys know who will make the ultimate host? This guy: He already works for mtv, plus he is a pro skater.
Yeah? Well so I Rob Drydek and he would be a better host IMO.

Rob is wayyyyy too cool to do this imo.
LOL. Rob would abuse the cast like he does to his cousin co-star.
I would love that. He could be telling them the rules of the challenge, then blast them all out of no where with his tennis ball launcher. Or net-gun someone when they get eliminated.
I think the main issue is that he looks like he is 14, lol. I expect the host to look like he has been around the block a few times or is at least old enough to go out on the block without a curfew. ;)
He is 19, almost 20 and has won more games than Tony Hawk.
