Challenge hookups are not something I plan to add to the spoiler thread. More than half of the cast is married, engaged or in a relationship. Wait, that has not stopped Paula and Dunbar before... Who knows... :)
I meant since most of the cast was on Gauntlet 3 will it be a big deal to see Eric there.
I wonder if there is still resentment over what happened..
I wonder if there is still resentment over what happened..
I think people will probably be more concerned with winning and staying in the game themselves than exacting revenge on Eric. I think it'll be like last time; he's a big guy, so no one will really want to face him in the Duel.
I do wonder if Rachel might be looking to knock out Paula to get back at her for the island. Can't say I'd mind.

What exactly did Paula do to Rachel on the Island?
What exactly did Paula do to Rachel on the Island?
The only thing I can think of is that her and her "alliance" voted her off.
What exactly did Paula do to Rachel on the Island?
I don't think Paula personally did anything to her, but the alliance definitely seemed to lord itself over the others, and Rachel got voted off because they wanted her gone. Rachel just strikes me as the type of person who has some pride, and it might have been injured by having a bunch of new kids (relative to her) take control of the game and get smug about it.

I don't know. I don't think Rachel will be after Paula for that reason..but you never know.
I don't understand is everyone basing their view of Rachel on the one challenge she participated in from the Island? Robin fell in long before Rachel and it really came down to the wire. after talking with Rachel she said she literally couldn't feel her hands and legs for a week and that Kellyanne must be some kind of contortionist. Personally I think Rachel is one of the strongest girls there.

I agree that Rachel is one of the stronger women, but I cannot ignore what I know of The Island beyond what you have seen in any of the episodes. Further, I take with the tiniest grain of salt on the planet anything Rachel would say in front camera. As I have written before, there was a certain respect given to Rachel at the beginning of The Islandwhich did not survive the length of her stay there.
Further, I presume you are unaware of the actual length of time the competition among Robin, Kelly Anne and Rachel actually took. That face-off actually was about two hours in length. In a recent conversation with Kelly Anne she said she suffered some long-term nerve damage as a result, but because of that damage actually making her numb, she could have continued for a much longer time if it had been necessary.
It would not surprise me if Rachel were a winner, but it would not surprise me if another of the women won. There is simply too many variables in play.

You are 100% correct you and Bachus are like the reality G-d's. But the only reason Rachel didn't stay longer was because of the "Alliance" basically everyone else voted for her to stay. Except Dan who was fooling around with Robin... I think she intimidated a lot of people and I think she will intimidate a lot of people in this challenge.
I agree with you in your assessment of Rachel probably being one of the strongest
I also think The Island is a tougher challenge to use to assess people's normal challenge/mission strengths because everyone did not have to compete, and they didn't all compete together each day for comparison.
Very true! I dont think the Island really proved how strong a competitor is, in a competition. If there were normal challenges where people faced off, i think we could assess each player more accurately
ev would kill everyone. I don't think they would ever put her in a duel cenerio at least thats my opinion.
BMP definitely wanted Evelyn, but she was not available since she is in school.

Well it would have been great to see her on the Duel, she definitely would have been the top females on the show. And she would probably get to the end but that Duel is tricky you know. Good thing she is going to school though.
Yes, Evelyn got a call to go into the duel, but because of a scheduling conflict with school she could not attend. But even if she was there who's to say she would be the best and blow everyone out of the water? not everything is physical. Alot is brains, heart and luck. Ev vs. Rachel would be an ideal match.
And Tori? do you think she has the mental strength? Didnt she throw a hissy fit in the gauntlet 3? And half of the rookie girls in g3 were weak (melinda, angel, janelle, brooke...)

Not to veer, but Ev hands down would be the most physically and mentally dominate female if she was on the Duel 2. Everyone would be trying to avoid her minus Aneesa who isn't afraid of anything and perhaps the newbies who would want to prove themselves.
Ev doesn't crack under pressure and she is very clever which is good to have when your are physically superior. Anyone else under the circumstances she had to deal with on the Island would have cracked, but she made it to the end.
Beth is the only other person that I know that can survive in a hostile situation. She has unfairly been an outcast on every challenge, and now I'm really starting to be sold on the idea that the females are just intimidated by her and the guys know that she will not just sail along with their devious plans. She was robbed in Duel I and she imo would have won or easily made it to the finals.
Rachel is good, Rachel is very good, but we have not seen her under pressure. I'd be somewhat interested in seeing Rachel vs Ev. However, I would have been more interested in seeing (Ev vs Beth) or (Ev vs Jodi )or even (Ev vs Aneesa). It is stated that Ev was slated to do Duel I. I can definitely see BMP wanting her for Duel II.
I understand that there are differences in Duel 2 vs Duel 1, but I wish they weren't. Furthermore I wish the cast was almost the same as well. The 2 people that would give Ev a run period or could possibly take her is Beth and Jodi. I think Rachel is good, but her focus isn't there imo. of course, I've been wrong on several fronts!
For some reason I think Rachel would win in a Duel against Ev... to bad she isn't on it, that would have been an amazing duel. I think both are amazing athletes, but I know Rachel is fearless and will go up against anybody. But there are many factors in a duel, so anyone can come out victorious.
Ray-dawg I know your reading, go look at your facebook, i posted the last comment :)
And Jodi? whats the hype about jodi? She is a great athlete as well, but she is too emotional and she didnt do all that well in every mission she competed in. She lost against Veronica and She messed up on the pogo stick and orange challenge. She is tall and well built, so she is intimidating. Aneesa and Beth both are not steller athletes. The only thing they have going for them is height and weight proportion against most of the girls- but in competions are you joking? they both aren't to good. I mean that is just my opinion. But I highly doubt any one would say Aneesa and Beth are great competitors.
I believe Ev will actually lose to Rachel in strenght or speed type of Duel. For some reason BMP make EV look like this person that can't be beat ( which isn't the case), other girls I think could be Ev is Kina, Jodi, Coral, Emily, both holly, beth, tori, and ruthie just to name a few. By the way haven't you notice that Ev always goes in a gauntlet or elimanation with a weaker smaller thin girl, and by the way in gauntlet 3 paula outperform ev in most of the missions.
BMP definitely wanted Evelyn, but she was not available since she is in school.
Really? that would have been amazing. She would destroy every 1 (even the men) lol. love you ev
Nah i think hands down the best female competitor so far is evenly and guy is wes
they both strong mentally and physically..... ev knows how to play and she doesnt give up like other ppl ( rachel vc kelly ann on the island...LOL ev could stay sitting there for over 3 hours without showing crack.)
i dont think anyone could beat her, she is very very strong ...
and i want to see wes in challenges again, but he did say he was quitiing =(
Darock, I'm a little envious that I didn't write that :popcorm1:
Thanks chief!
People have never given Beth enough credit on her physical ability. I don't know if you interviewed Ev post The Island, but if I could ask her 1 question, I'd ask who would she look least forward to in facing an elimination round?

Sorry to doubepost, but while Aneesa may not be the most dominate athelete, she has the 1 factor essential into facing a so-called stellar athelete ...... it's the (I don't give a fig) attitude. That element makes her very dangerous in a Duel. As for Beth, her record speaks for itself. She took out Ruthie (when she was in her prime), Beat Jodi easily in a few of the missions on the Duel, and singlehandly ran G2 until her morality came into play against Aneesa.
Jodi has shown to crack, I agree. As for Duel 2, I expect or at least hope Aneesa goes a long way to prove my theory.
I agree with everyone that Evelyn is extremely physically strong and could potentially be the strongest female in the history of the challenges, however mentally I disagree completely. Ev is not mentally strong enough to beat a good majority of the other players and even in very physical competitions, brains matter. Evelyn can easily be broken down and in a physical face off, I think many people could mentally break her down in order for them to win.
