I despise --- repeat, DESPISE --- that The Jersey Shore has been shown on The Emmys TWICE now.
I know right? It's quite annoying.
Did he? I tried to block out last year because I was so disappointed. I'm very surprised with how much I agree with the drama wins so far.
I agreed with them up until the girl from The Good Wife winning. I didn't really think that show would make it as far as it has come.
Chandler gets the "your show is ending so you can win this year" nod but Carell doesn't? Boo.
I know. I'm still waiting for Dexter to get his win :(
Seriously - there's an hour left - what awards are left aside from Best Drama Series and Best Comedy Series?
EDIT: Oh yeah - didn't do mini-series stuff yet.
And now it's time for the part of the show where everyone thinks to themselves "Who are these people? Mini-series? This aired on HBO didn't it? Why did they do a small movie, they are better than that?" questions...

"Downton Abbey" better take ALL THE AWARDS for mini-series categories. I'm also pulling for Idris Elba in "Luther" because that show is awesome and they need to make up for never recognizing "The Wire".

I will take your word for it. That's who I want to win then :D
So far so good, tater!
EDIT: Wait - I thought you wanted Downton Abbey to win all of them? lol
I did but then I remembered that Steven Moffat and Sherlock were nominated and he will ALWAYS get my vote. :D
OH I've been meaning to ask - what did you all think of Charlie Sheen's speech to the cast and crew of "Two and a Half Men" --- did you think it was genuine? Or did you think it was to save face?

It's hard to tell, especially because it's Charlie Sheen. I was over the entire Charlie Sheen thing after the first joke about it. It was probably genuine to only Charlie himself, while everyone else thinks it's a joke.
The Emmys really should take their own advice.
I love this song so I'm OK with it.
It's so overused though. It's like the goto to try and bring out emotion now. And only a very few have ever really done justice to the original.
They are actually doing a fantastic job singing, but who are they? Am I supposed to know?
They are the Canadian Tenors.
Kate Winslet winning? I'm shocked (not). But I love her.
I'm not shocked either. But she had to win, she's just an amazing actress.
