Yeah, not trying to sound negative but I'll be curious to see what else the writers can come up with for this show. I mean, the Glee members will have to graduate eventually, right? Aren't they juniors?

I believe they're only sophomores right now.
Only sophmores then why is Finn looking towards football scholarships? I thought forsure he was a senior but I guess they could change that if they wanted to (Beverly Hills 90210) had no problems along with other shows.

Jesse is the only one who has said he's a senior. And we know that Rachel is only 16 which places her at either sophomore or junior status. I could have sworn it's been mentioned that they're only sophomores.
I didn't watch the first few episodes so you're probably right Molds. I just assumed they're juniors because they all look older anyway. I do remember them saying Jesse was a senior.

Ryan Murphy said they will never graduate. I don't know why they told us anyone's age because he also said that they have the show sort of mapped out for the next four years.
Song spoilers for next week's episode, "Funk":
Beck's "Loser" (sung by Kent Avenido, Cory Monteith, Jessalyn Gilsig, Mark Salling, Stephen Tobolowsky)
Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch's "Good Vibrations" (sung by Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Mark Salling)
Parliament's "Give Up the Funk" (sung by New Directions)
Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" (sung by Jonathan Groff and Vocal Adrenaline)
James Brown's "It's a Man's World" (sung by Dianna Agron)
Rufus and Chaka Khan's "Tell Me Something Good" (sung by Matt Morrison)
It's kind of nice to have them start out with Journey and end with Journey. Of course I will never complain about having a little more Steve Perry in my life. :D

I'm really excited for their regionals mashup.
They are doing Faithfully, Any Way You Want It/Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin', and Don't Stop Believin'.
[strike]Yup, now I can look forward to songs next year. These are a few I'm hoping for Kissed by a rose, mandolin rain/ or the way it's, a hall & oates episode definately should be done and so many songs it actually is disappointing they haven't done them at all, any peter gabriel, black velvet, tom petty and so many more.
No wheels in the sky come on that song is epic.[/strike]
Yup, now I can look forward to songs they will sing next season. A few songs I'm hoping for are 'Kissed by a Rose' by Seal, 'Mandolin Rain' or 'The Way It Is' by Bruce Hornby. A Hall & Oates episode should definitely be done. I'd love to hear so many songs it is actually disappointing that they haven't done them yet. No Peter Gabriel, 'Black Velvet' or Tom Petty.

Exciting! I'd love to hear them do more classic rock songs but I must admit that I think they are really lacking in using current music. These are high school kids we are talking about after all. Excluding the Lady Gaga episode, Beck's 'Loser' was probably the most current song they had done in a while and it's almost 20 years old now! (Wow that just made me feel really old...)
Thanks Molds for correcting my post you are a life saver. I really liked Beth by Mark Salling a couple weeks ago it was awesome on the theater episode.
I am a little sad that the season is already ending. It seems like the back 9 just started! :( I am very excited to see them perform at regionals, though, and very anxious to see what they're going to to do with Quinn's storyline. (if they're going to show the birth, show who adopts Beth, and/or show us how Quinn is really feeling about everything.)
Peter Gabriel war without frontiers would work great so would mercy street. Seriously that guy you could easily pick 5 songs and totally make an awesome episode.
It made me so sad when Jesse smashed the egg on Rachel's forehead. :(
Me, too! And it kind of came out of nowhere for me. I thought the last time we saw him he was telling Shelby that he was really starting to like Rachel. If he was doing it just to fit in he didn't need to do it right on her face. I was really rooting for them as a couple.

Yeah that's what I didn't get... Did I miss something, or when did they actually break up?

I thought I may have missed something, too. I honestly didn't remember them breaking up or even heading towards a break-up.

Last I remember Jesse was trying to help her find her mother and he told Shelby "I really like her." Then all of a sudden... Poof! They're broken up... I don't get it!
I'm pretty sure I read that the episodes were shown out of order (intentionally). This past episode was supposed to go right after Dream On, the one where Jesse was giving Rachel the tape of her. They (probaby Fox) wanted to show the Gaga episode before May sweeps.
It was a strange move in regards to the plot, one minute hes "helping" her find her birth mom, the next hes smashing an egg on her head. They definitely needed more in the middle there... but maybe the ratings were worth it.
