First thing I need to get off my chest: Who didn't foresee the artery bursting? Come on and raise your hand.....this is just an informal poll....no one is judging here....
Losers! Ok, just kidding....but that was so **** obvious. The most obvious thing that has happened in a scripted drama since mid 1985 (when scabs were writing really bad scripts during the last wga strike.)
Alright, maybe I am exaggerating, but it is quite clear when Sloan gave the big speech about whoever is in the room needs to save him if the artery bursts, you knew it was going to blow. Five minutes after that speech we see that Lexie is the doctor checking in alone on the patient with "grenade neck" sans pin, and the climactic setup is complete.
The good news is I actually thought the scene was well done and it was great to see all his blood ejecting out on to Lexie like a garden hose with each heart beat!
As for the rest of the episode, I don't think it lived up to the hype as the "Next Grey's Anatomy Event" like we have been hearing on commercials all week. I thought it was a good episode overall, but not an "event" per say. My favorite "event" was the one with the RPG stuck in the guy. Aww...I pine for the good old days!
Last years "event" totally sucked, so I guess it was an improvement over that -although if Meredeth actually would have drown then it could have been one of my all time favorite episodes!
Wow, does Alex really have to be an *** all the time? Just when I think I can like him again, he goes and does something stupid. Time to let Ava go dude. She was your patient. Stick with Lexi, if she is stupid enough to have you...
Glad to see McDreamy and the new nurse hanging out. I think they will make a good couple. Time to move past Mer.
I really don't have much to say about swastika boy. Really, really sad...
