The Island: MTV - Speculation

Well you could go over to the spoiler thread and answer it :) Also, I know someone mentioned this in the discussion thread, but that was definately the Johnny/Ev shot that we saw, and I already pointed out where the Paula crying shot came from.

Or you could answer it here with spoiler tags... :-D

I think by V1man's response by even associating what is a clear speculation into a spoiler discussion means that some of this speculation is actually true per his account. This is either his subtle way of telling me or perhaps he diabolical way of letting my go stir crazy trying to figure this thing out. Either way, he is indeed a master of his craft.

i think the 4 in the water are (left to right) dan, ev, robin and johanna. and the ones looking at them sitting: dunbar and kellyanne. standing (left to right): johnny, kenny, paula, jenn, derrick and tj. so i think ryan is out too. i also think that cohutta, derrick and dunbar (or johnny) are in the face-off with the cages and then dunbar (or johnny) wins that face-off because you can see him ringing the bell in the trailer. then he could take either ev or robin's key and cohutta is eliminated. and then the next face-off maybe johnny (or someone else??) takes ev or robin's key and colie is eliminated. then the next face-off the four are competing for the final spot in a boat. but i don't know when ryan will be eliminated...maybe there is another face-off between colie's elimination and the face-off with 4 people???

I thought that was Kenny .... perhaps that moron actually does win and get his key back from Ev in the next faceoff ....... It is definitely Johnny (after further review), and what looks like Derrick .... I still think it's Colhutta who get's the axe next week and I still think Derrick takes a dive for Johnny. This means that the following face off is where Colie goes .... she is holding some ropes, but I'm trying to figure out who her opponents are ..... perhaps Dan who will win this and take Robin's key .... (now that makes some cold stuff). I think there is more to Dan vs Robin than we think and knowing the opportunistic Kenny, he could actually push for Dan to take Robin's key. I still hold to the fact that the last face off will involve all the non key holders in the final face off, and Ev wins ........

I also remember Colie with the ropes too, so she probably goes next. Johnny probably takes Ev's key, but who takes Robin's key? Kenny?? Then he would have two keys and then him being in a boat with only 2 others would make sense? Also, wasn't Robin and Jo or KA suppose to be in one boat? It looks like Robin and Johanna don't even make the final, so it would maybe be KA, Jenn, and Kenny in one boat? Wait are we sure that the person in the red is TJ? Cuz it doesn't make sense for there to only be 7.

To me it looks like Dunbar in the red with a bandana on his head and the person sitting down is Derrick. Next to red shirt man looks like Ryan because Derrick's not that small. I think KellyAnne's next to Paula, the female sitting is Robin, and the female between Ev and Johanna is Jenn. Just like they said, Jenn isn't a true part of the alliance so why not throw her in? Ev probly lost her key and needs it back, Dan still needs one and so does Johanna. I'm pretty sure we all know why there's 4, because these must be the last four and whoever wins will get the final key.

She could probably have Johnny be her servant for life to save his own hide ...... however, as I mentioned .... I see where Johnny, Kenny, and even Derrick convince her to take Paula's key. I'd pay to see the disdain on Paula's face if that happens. I also see discord with Johnny/Johanna. I see both johanna and johnny wanting to go into the next faceoff and johanna finally realizing how stupid she is. The true alliance pecking order is as follows (1.) Kenny (2.) Johnny (3.) Dunbar (4.) Paula (5.) Johanna the alliance field hands: Colhutta, Ryan, and Robin I may be wrong about Ryan ..... I thought that was him in the last faceoff, but it could be Dan ...... this means that the 2nd to last faceoff will probably involve Ryan, Colie, and Johanna (2 girls, and 1 guy) - He or Dan will take Robin's key

i might be wrong about this (and please don't laugh if i am because I'm a newbie lol) , plus i think i'm off by one person on who's been elminated so far and who has keys. And sorry if this is long I personally do not find it likely that if Johnny gets in a face off that he will take Ev's key. #1 that makes no sense, because it's obvious Ev is a threat not only to the girls but the guys also. But not only that, she's athletic, and Johnny's part of the alliance with Johanna. You take away Ev's key and all she's going to want to do is get into another face off to win her key, and no one wants to risk the chance of going against her. Since the cast is down to 14 All the girls on the island except for Johanna and Colie have a key (rob, ka, paula, jenn, ev). So i think this speculation over one of the players getting a 2nd key is true, but i think the way the players gets the key is from a girl with a key losing and being voted off. And i personally think it's Paula who possibly gives that key away to Kenny (since everyone thinks its Kenny that gets the 2nd key). Even if the next face off is a boy's faceoff, and that boy takes his key from a girl..with how many girls have keys it's still very likely that in a girl's faceoff, a girl with a key will end up in a faceoff.

I get what you mean but Johnny doesn't think rationally. He's petty. I am also sure that it's Ev in that photo. I think editing wise, she's the epic underdog that wins against all odds (there is one every season). Originally I thought that was KellyAnne, but I think it's Ev.

She's not just an "outcast", but also a rookie... and even the other outcasts aren't going to be on her side.

Did anybody notice that in the preview for next week's episode, it shows KellyAnne standing on her podium thing during an elimination without her key? Johnny is standing next to her with his but her's isn't anywhere to be seen... ETA: Sorry it's Derrick, not Johnny. And KellyAnne doesn't look happy either...someone could take her key, but who? Ryan?

So there's this "bombshell" Tj's laying down about the final faceoff (4 person faceoff, everybody who doesn't have a key duking it out to steal the last one?) The way I see things going down are: Keyless people are: Ev, Ryan, Johanna, Colie, and Dan...5. Next episode: Ryan, Colie, and Johanna or Dan go into the faceoff. I don't think Ev will because I feel Colie could get voted back onto the Island over Ev but it could go either way for the 3rd person. Ryan wins and takes KellyAnne's key because he won't take Jenn's and feels KellyAnne is his only target because of the alliance's thoughts. Colie goes home and the other person is voted back onto the Island. TJ drops the news that there's one faceoff left and all 4 of the keyless castmembers will be going in and facing off for the final chance to steal their key. Episode in 2 weeks: Ev, Dan, Johanna, and KellyAnne go into the faceoff where they all jump into the water. Ev wins the faceoff and Johanna, Dan, and KellyAnne are left to sit on the beach along with whoever Ev steals her key from. Ev doesn't steal her key from Johnny because it would **** a lot of people off and she feels he's a good competitor. She won't take Derrick's, Kenny's, Paula's, Jenn's, or Robin's keys either I dont think. This leaves Dunbar and Ryan. I think she's going to take Dunbar's because she feels he didn't earn his key and she likes Ryan better. The final 8 are Derrick, Kenny, Johnny, Ryan, Ev, Paula, Robin, and Jenn. Anything to add, argue, comment on? Please do!

Ryan wins, and Colie bounces. I thought that the 4 people in the last faceoff would be Ryan, Ev, Johanna, and Robin .... but it could very well be Dan, Ev, Johanna, and Kelly Anne. I really hope that 2 keys are at stake instead of 1. If Dan is in the faceoff, he may beat Ev.... and it would kill me to not see Ev win this challenge. KA is indeed shown next to Derrick without holding her key, but I couldn't tell if Ryan and Robin had keys during the MTV commercial for the next episode. I saw 11 people in the shot, and I am assuming that Ryan is next to TJ with a key. I have frozen screen images trying to figure out who were on the boats, and on the 1 with 4 people, I definitely see 1 female on the boat. It's either Paula or Ev .... I think it's Johnny, Derrick, Kenny, and a female in 1 boat .... and boat 2 maybe Ryan, Robin, and Jenn ...... Dunbar probably quits when he cannot get on boat 1. If nothing else, I'd be remotely sastisfied to see both Johanna and Paula left behind. We know Johanna loses because in the last snippet of Episode 1 when the do the season previews, Johanna is shown crying after the faceoff. Why there is this image of Paula sitting on the island by herself is beyone me .... I really hope it's symbolic of something. The only person I know in the history of these challenges to do the next challenge after winning the previous challenge is Kenny. Road Ruler Viewer's Revenge isn't a challenge. Can the powers that be (Bacchus, StonedWorld, V1man) help us by telling un if BMP have asked winners from a previous challenge to participate in the next one.

I am way behind on reading this thread, but I was thinking last night about possible "wrenches" that could be thrown in the mis as the challenge progresses... What if one guy/girl wins 2 keys...we know that they can only give thier key away if they are voted off the island (or so has been told to us so far through the rules) so no matter what they have to keep those 2 keys on them no matter what boat they get on...wait I am having trouble wording this to make sense... Scenario: Kelly Ann goes into the final challenge (with her current key still in hand) and wins She takes Johnny's key The boats are ready to take off BUT there MUST be 4 people [B]and[/B] 4 keys (at least) on each boat Does that mean that the second baot can't take off because on of thier keys is on the first boat?? I don't know it is just speculation but I don't even know if my explination made sense...it did last night while I was washing my face thinking about it though, LOL.
