Just finished watching 10 Cloverfield Lane and OMG IT WAS SO ******* GOOD! Plus I've always had a hard on for Mary Elizabeth Winstead so double wammie!
Went out and saw My big fat Greek wedding 2. It was great seeing literally every single cast member from the first one back(surprised some aren't dead tbh) and it was fairly funny. Of course the sequel is never as good as the first but it was still good.

It Follows, The Babadook and The Witch were all phenomenal and they would easily be ranked in the top 5 horror films of the decade !
And yes ! The Conjuring is overrated. I'm really concerned if as a "horror fan" Bischoff you found this scary....
I agree with all of this! The "horror fans" these days would call those movies boring just because they lack cheap jump scares and excessive gore. Those films create an environment and surrounding to build up its tension which makes them just as terrifying. The Babadook still has me ****** up.
I would add Let Me In (A remake I actually found better than its original), Oculus, for originality, Sinister & Insidious, even though they rely on the jump scares, for some of the best horror films of the decade.
I can applaud The Conjuring for trying, but it was indeed overrated. However, it's light years better than its spinoff, Annabelle, or the others films that try to pass as a horror movie.

Yessss !! Finally someone that gets me ! I need you more in this thread please. Like I agree with all of the above except the part about Let me in. I enjoyed Let the right one in way more.
I loveed Zootopia. It was so funny. Like that sloth part killed me. And as a female, I loved how things were handeled. Awesome animated film filled with great messages for kids(and adults).
Have you seen YOU ! every second you're like; how did this happen ? why did this happen ? explain this to me ! explain that ! wahhhh
I think I am worse film watcher. I always say like "whats this guy gets killed" or something and people always mad at me that I spoil everything. Its not my fault movies are soo predictable
speaking of upcoming horror movies.. three trailers were released today!! Light's Out looks like it might be pretty scary but there are some weak cheesy moments in the trailer... hoping its good
new trailer for the conjuring! second trailer looks epic
and holidays.. doesn't look scary but might be fun
lol at people calling lights out and conjuring series horror.
