Being a bad boy gives you legs in the reality world (e.g. Jonny Fairplay) and being a hard partier would get you into some types of bookings, so he has carved out a niche in the afterworld of reality TV. Whether or not he gets invited back on future challenges may have to do with why he left this one, but they have let CT back in, so if the contract is renewed, they would likely invite him back. I don't mind him that much to watch. He would be annoying to live with for sure, but not an obviously bad person.
I think that Episode 3's preview that they posted on MTV.com also hints to him leaving sometime soon, with the conversation him and Mike have him...the one where Adam says "It's only gonna get worse". Foreshadowing? Either way, Adam is still a complete moron. Seriously, you're one of only SEVEN people who get this once in a lifetime opportunity, and you screw it up after only 3 weeks.
Agreed, who the **** gets kicked off this
and gets kicked off a challenge before production
Listen, get your 15 minutes of fame, get as much money as you can, then live your normal life after that, not that hard to understand.
The new RW-Dailies from today are all about adam and his drinking/confrontations with the other castmates so ya should be this episode or the next
The new RW-Dailies from today are all about adam and his drinking/confrontations with the other castmates so ya should be this episode or the next
My guess would be that this episode sets it up and the next sees him go and the new person come in.
Ok, I'm not sure if anybody posted this yet but I'm just now watching last nights episode and my question is WHO IS THIS? Naomi and Adam went to the club, Heather is sitting on the chair with Dustin and Nani is talking... so Who is the girl in the background with the shorts?

ha true, i know. for some reason it just seemed really strange to me. there was no mention of another person being there, they were in that shot (with a drink in their hands) for like 3 seconds then when the camera cuts back they are gone. knowing that adam's replacement is a girl it just made me wonder.

We'll probably never know.

I have seen pictures of Cooke's legs and they do not look like that. If I had to guess I'd say those are Heather's legs.

I know this is a totally different topic but one of the earlier episodes of Jersey Shore this season had Snooki getting in a fight and her slippers get knocked off, then suddenly she's wrestling on the ground and her slippers are back on her feet. If these shows aren't scripted they have some SERIOUS editing.

Cast members for years have talked about that and production more or less admits it--they take all their footage, decide storylines and then create the stories out of the footage, which may or may not resemble life. I think it was Baya from Brooklyn who said they were warned before they watched the season that there is the life they lived on the show and it would not necessarily be the life they are portrayed as having lived in the episodes, or something along those lines. I think someone from Chicago pointed out that there was one argument in that series completely constructed out of very disjointed footage filmed over time such that it reflected the general positions of the people, but there never really was an argument the way it was portrayed.
OK so judging from this footage, what do you think is going on?
I agree with Molds. They look like Heather's legs to me, but who knows. In the first episode there was one when Nani and Adam were talking where she went from having a full bottle of vodka to a not so full bottle of vodka in her hand, indicating a chunk of the conversation was cut out. I don't really look for continuity issues with TRW, but sometimes they jump out at me--like someone will be in one place talking, they will cut to the other person, and when they cut back the first person is in a different place. They do such fast shots it helps hide that I think. I think there is one episode of Brooklyn where Ryan Conklin has like three different lengths of hair throughout the episode. I suspect that sometimes they are not trying to mislead so much as get best shots on air so if, for example, you and I are talking and they do not have good shots of both of us they might go looking for shots from other conversations where we say essentially the same words in the same location and merge the footage into a scene reflective of what took place. Sometimes you will see that when people have different clothes on in the scene.
On this same subject: I noticed that the scrape on Adam's forehead looked mostly healed on episode 3 when they are working (which aired last night). But on the "sneak peak" on mtv for episode 4, where Adam and Nani are at breakfast together, his scrape looks really fresh again. So it makes me wonder if they don't change up the order of how things happened to create the storyline. Actually I assume they do. edit: actually just checked something again, the scene where Adam is on the phone with his girlfriend and he is talking about his job and how he got paired with Leroy and Naomi, his forehead looks completely healed (or maybe it is before it was scraped at all)
As others have stated, these shows are edited big time. I have seen where production takes a conversation and makes it look like three-five people are all sitting in a room *****ing at each other, when it fact the "real" footage is 2 people bickering with the other two or three out by the pool. Does such drastic editing happen all the time? NO. However, when you film a short, **** even in theatre, you go back and try to get the best shots of something that has already happened (obviously in theatre that typically happens during photo shoots and rehearsals and stops once dress rehearsals start, so smaller scale). Ever seen on a TV show where they are spoofing reality tv and when they have someone get out of a car, then a director asks that person to get back into the car and walk out the same way they just did? I have never been in or around reality tv, but my guess is that is not so unusual. As others have said, these young men and women are warned, everything that is shown is not necessarily "real". ****, I remember Eric from DC *****ing about how a lot of footage with him [and Sahar and Jemmye] was left out from his season.
I am hoping that this Dustin-Heather thing fizzles out quickly. As far as people go, I always hope for the best BUT it makes for boring TV to watch on-going relationships, especially with Adam's inevitable departure. Adam gone and just Dustin and Heather doing the Stephen-Trishelle bunny hop every episode would likely make me start tuning out.

So you can tell they mixed up the timeline of what they were showing. I guess it's so they can build a good 'storyline'.
That screencap of the girl in the shorts is definitely not heather. She doesn't have the same stuff on her wrist if you pay attention to the clip. Heather has some kind of black and metal bracelet while that other girl has a hair tie on one wrist and some other things on the other. I feel like that's probably Cookie and they're talking about the situation after he had been kicked out.
I'm thinking Adam's last episode is going to be Episode 6, as he just tweeted that he just filmed the Aftershow that will be filming after that episode.
Not going to lie, her legs are sexy.
I'm thinking Adam's last episode is going to be Episode 6, as he just tweeted that he just filmed the Aftershow that will be filming after that episode.
I think episode 5 is gonna leave the cliff hanger of whether he'll be kicked out or not and then episode 6 he'll leave and Heather will come in.
Just saw a preview for the next episode on MTV2. It seems like there's more Mike/Dustin drama and Nany and her boyfriend will be finished come the end of the episode.

There seems to be nothing between them except passive-aggressiveness via twitter. First they didn't follow each other, then some of that stuff, and now that they aren't communicating again. Made me wonder if they have had it out or will be having it out at the aftershow.
Tiff-any sounds like Nany.. I don't think anyone would be name their child Nany. Her name is Definitely Tiffany.. I think Mike is from Detroit.. He was Charles Woodson for Halloween, who was the QB for Michigan.
You must feel really dumb now looking back on this because 1) you were soooooo confident that her name was Tiffany and her name actually is Nany. 2) Mike is not from Detroit, Leroy is. 3) Charles Woodson, if your talking about the pro football player, was a CORNERBACK, not a QUARTERBACK.

Nany is a nickname.
Well her name is actually Noemi (sp?). Nany is a nickname.
Huh? Naomi and Nany are two different people...
Huh? Naomi and Nany are two different people...
There are two Naomis. 1 is called by Nany
Nany and Naomi are going off right now on twitter about somebody talking **** in confessionals and how ****** they are about this "hillbilly *****" talking **** lol. I'm thinking possibly Cookie is the one they're talking about?
It sounds like when Adam leaves, Heather will cause some drama herself. This makes me happy :D We haven't had replacements on this show for while now, since Hollywood i think.
There are two Naomis. 1 is called by Nany
My bad, I do kind of remember them saying that in episode one.
