Knight was wearing a white t-shirt in his interview that was shown yesterday at the taping, but I don't remember what the background looked like. I would bet that it is Knight since he did do his interview in New Orleans.
Bummer -- was hoping we'd make some progress on discovering the location for next season.
Is this filming for The **** They Should Have Shown?

Yeah most likely, I didn't even think about that
I would love to see "The Real World - Back to Los Angeles". I'm pretty much fine with any season as long as it's not "Back to D.C." or "Back to Philly".
My Real World Wishlist, in order, would be: 1. Seasons in South Africa, Amsterdam, and Prague or Moscow. 2. Season with at least 1 but maybe even two sets of twins (Hey the Roloff twins may be available soon) or one set of tripletts. 3. A season where everybody is recruited from the gene pool of a prior Real World cast member (i.e. children, brothers, cousins of somebody who has been on before) 4. A season where they stick some old geezer in the house (after all, they are starting to make up more of the college population) and 5. A season where they have two houses joined by a common area (trailer park would do) or are on a farm. That's it. That is all I want.

Um, since when is a college-age person a geezer???
Um, since when is a college-age person a geezer???
I think the meaning was, there are a lot more mature-age students at university/college these days, people going back to get a degree or another degree after they've already had a job. So take one of those people and put them in the Real World house? Not that I think it's a good idea... Also, you have to be 24 or under to audition.

Especially since the world cup was just there and the world is starting to pay more attention to South Africa, it's becoming quite a popular tourist destination. (I guess it was always popular but even more so).
What is the minimum age to be in order to audition?
Someone correct me if I get this wrong please... I've never auditioned so I'm not 100% sure. I think the minimum age is 18, however, they are unlikely to cast anyone who is under the legal drinking age where they're shooting. So, the seasons in Sydney, Cancun, Paris, etc.... they had younger people cast because the drinking ages in those places is 18. Some of the Road Rules seasons also had 18 year olds. There might have been a few older seasons of RW too, where people weren't legal to drink, but they seem to have stopped doing that.

Although there is normally always one that isn't quite 21. Emily: DC Jonna: Cancun Devyn: Brooklyn Brianna: Hollywood That one d-bag: Hollywood They did however used to cast younger it seems. The past few seasons haven't had anyone under the age of 20. The last season to cast a teenager was Key West with Svetlana.

I would imagine that everyone this season will be over the age of 21. Vegas sucks if you aren't 21.
I remember reading somewhere that the original Las Vegas had the oldest cast because the hotels in Vegas required the cast members to be at least 21 if they were going to film there.
Trisha from Sydney was a teenager if i'm remembering correct, she was 18 or 19 during that season.
You are completely correct. When I wrote that I was only thinking of the seasons that weren't international because most teens over 18 can drink in those countries. But overall they did used to cast on the younger side of things.
Um, since when is a college-age person a geezer???
I was referring to the grandparents who go back to schhol and ruin the grading curve. I had retirees and middle-aged moms in my freshmen classes.

I was thinking Katelynn was 25 during filming and Scott wasn't far behind her.

Didn't Scott turn 24 during filming? I recall him having a birthday.
Didn't Scott turn 24 during filming? I recall him having a birthday.
I don't know, that's just what wikipedia says. EDIT: You're correct.
The cast is invited to a private screening of Pedro, a feature film about Pedro Zamora, the late AIDS activist and cast member of The Real World: San Francisco, and asked to promote and host a screening for a larger group, but Chet is offended at the reasons given why he should not be one of the hosts. Scott's family visits to celebrate his 24th birthday, along with his roommates, but Kat, who is broke, needs to work that night. This leads to a series of pranks by an offended Scott, and a heated argument. Kat eventually realizes that she does not have enough money to stay in the house, and resolves to leave, but Scott comes to her aid by giving her $1,500 to pay her bills.
I used to hang out some with these 2 retired guys who went back to school in their late 50's/early 60's after very successful careers who were awesome to party with and just talk to. Interesting, funny, and rocks to lean on no matter what was going on.

RW:Back 2 Hawiia? RW:Key Largo?RW:Panama City? RW:Nashville? RW: Tampa?
RW:Back 2 Hawiia? RW:Key Largo?RW:Panama City? RW:Nashville? RW: Tampa?
Nashville or even better Memphis maybe. Panama City would suck since that town is a family oriented town except for one month a year and they would end up doing that same bizarre deal they did in Cancun where castmembers would work for some student travel place and not be allowed to party with any spring breakers and people would get fired again.
Not sure where else to post this, but it's interesting to note that RW Bostom alum Sean Duffy has won the Republican nomination to run for the 7th Congressional district in Wisconsin. If he wins in November he will be a member of the US House of Reps.
