Yes, i've heard Johnny Cash's work. No, i've never heard his song "A Boy Named Sue." My Johnny Cash listening experience is limited so far to only two songs: "Ring of Fire" and "The Man Comes Around". Sad but true. And unfortunately, i really don't see how a name like "Awesome" is gonna make the kid tougher... I just don't see it. Maybe i need some special glasses that deal with this sort of thing.
Are you a parent Francid? Maybe if you were you would understand a little better. Point is this is Derricks son and Derricks choice to name him whatever he wants. The little boy did not sign up for anything, so I suggest we leave him out of these discussions.

In my 21 years of existence, i've never had the pleasure. And i'll stop talking about it if you wish so, no big thing. It's not a big secret as far in my family life that if i was a parent, i'd really like to have a daughter and already have several names in mind for when and if i do get that blessing. But i guess it's like you're pointing out, you really don't know what you're gonna do until that moment comes. I do know that if i have a son, i don't wanna name him after me. I already have a father and older brother with the same name as me so i really would like to break the tradition there so while i'm positive i wouldn't name my son the same name as me, once again i wouldn't know what i would do until it happens for real and not in my imagination.
On Twitter, he calls his son "Baby Derrick". I wonder what that means... To be completely honest, it's none of our business what he names his child. He could name him TJ Lavin Kosinski for all I care.
Did anyone notice TJ's tone when he was making the goodbye speech to Syrus? He didn't speak in his normal way, as a matter of fact, he took a little more time in saying the words and there was even a bit of fear in his voice. Do I detect G2 animosity between them still? Due to the fact that TJ knew Syrus wasn't present when in one of the post G2 specials where they discussed the near fight he and Syrus had during the Beach Brawl with Derrick, and TJ even said it was because Syrus wasn't present that he could boast that he could win in a one on one against him. Guess those thoughts came to his mind when saying the usual speech to Syrus, and while Syrus did smile at him, I couldn't help but notice a tinge of glaring on his part. Sort of suggesting, "We both know that off the record, I would pin you to the floor. But since I'm a nice guy, I'll let it slide once again.":D
Ow please, you don't really think that after all those years, TJ is still afraid of Syrus? If he ever was...
From the Dailies, i think is obvious that Johnny feels he is very low on the Alliance pecking order.. (which i agree has Derrick above him..) that is why he is scrambling to save his behind, i understand it was a survival tactic from him to send in Syrus, but i think it was a super d-bag move, considering Syrus had already gone in before, and if he was really injured, then it was totally unfair.. (not that the game is supposed to be fair or anything).. i think Syrus should have known better, and not gone in the Six with Derrick and Johnny.. he should have either gone in with Darrel and someonelse or not gone in at all.. he lacked a healthy dose of malice. im glad Veronica is gone, just in the sense that now Jo and Susie will have to go in, to earn respect from the doubters, or just prove them right.. personally i like them both, believe they are good competitor, and Susie, specially, will probably win against any of the Challenger girls. Cohutta is winning these challenges, because of the valuable lesson he learned from The Island.. on any faceoff, the most important thing is to keep his cool, he kept it better than Wes and Sy.. and it would keep helping him, unless is a straight up physical engagement against someonelse. btw, wasnt the episode named RUINing on empty as opposed to RUNNing on Empty ? is the thread mislabeled by accident or on intentionally ?

I'm sure that both TJ and Syrus put that behind them a long time ago. As for TJ saying he could beat Syrus on that G2 special.. in my opinion it was obvious (at least to me), that it was a joke.

I never thought i'd say this but at this point, i've actually grown accustomed to having TJ as the Challenge host. It's pretty obvious we're gonna be seeing him in more Challenges to come so in a sense, one does have to find some way to get used to the same face. TJ has always been a chill dude who even gets to interact sometimes with the cast; Jonny Moseley and Dave Mirra pretty much only had enough time to greet the casts on the missions and explain the instructions; but the only thing that might cost him points on the coolness scale is his usual reactions for when people decide to quit. He's obviously very stern on that issue but i hope that in the future, he doesn't make them feel worse with his usual comments and tries to grow a little in that aspect of: If someone decides to quit, then fine. But don't be criticizing their decision in a way that almost comes off as an insult. At least he lets them quit but he's really got to work on his attitude and his mouth if he wants to keep his job.
TJ has no way to know what happens in the house. He doesn't know the reason behind people quitting. Plus some people have quit because they suck like Alex in Gauntlet 3. You have no way to know who quits for what. Quitting in general is stupid. Ev should have stuck it out and caused ****.

This episode was a nice change of pace. I saw two champions I cared little about go home and two challengers do amazingly! While I am a die hard Kenny (and by association anyone with Kenny) fan I find myself rooting for the challengers because of a little mountain man named Cohutta! He's pretty amazing and hopefully can keep this streak up! And does anyone else find KellyAnne soooo much more tolerable now that Wes is gone? She's almost not annoying anymore!
I am pretty sure that the people behind the camera's, fill TJ in on what has been happening at the house.
Yeah. How else would he have known about CT punching Davis and being sent home for that? TJ wasn't there when it happened, he appeared later to tell the cast about CT being disqualified and the news about the Bad ***** getting a replacement.
They fill him in on big things like people punching each other. But the majority of stuff that happens in the house is about getting drunk and having a good time. You think he cares about stupid scheming and drunk madness?
I like Johnny. I think he gets a bad rap. I think he gets the brunt of things because he is the most outspoken one of the alliance. He's the jokester. I did not think it was fair that syrus went in again, but Derrick didn't vote for Johnny and Johnny didn't vote for Derrick and Susie and Johanna went with it too. No one wants to offend the alliance. I honestly wish they would put Susie in the Ruins everytime. I wish Veronica would have told everyone about the 4 person alliance, which didn't include Johnny, derrick, herself, syrus and darell. Susie seems very condesending.
Johnny lost a large chunk of his fans on The Island. He acted ridiculous. I didn't like him before that challenge but now I can't stand him.
Johnny lost a large chunk of his fans on The Island. He acted ridiculous. I didn't like him before that challenge but now I can't stand him.
I agree. He's my least favorite of all the guys on the ruins.
My list of guys on the Champions team going from most favourite to least favourite at this moment: 1. Derrick 2. Johnny 3. Kenny 4. Darrell 5. Evan I've come to dislike Evan a lot on this challenge. I liked him on Duel 2, though, but there was no Kenny there...
This challenge has made me lost what last little bit of respect I've had for Evan.I am disgusted by how nice he is to everyone's face and then totally dogs them out behind their backs. He talked of his and Veronica's "friendship" outside of the game and then he went on The Ruins Replay and said horrible things about her.He bashed Katie and plotted to get rid of her and then when Katie mentioned the girls plotting to get rid of him he tucked his tail between his legs and tried to act like he had her back. Then goes on The Ruins Replay and bashes her also.He tormented Tonya and then tried to act like her best friend when she got kicked off.He is a sad excuse for a human being to me.
Evan is very back and forth. If you're going to do or say something, stick with it. Stop telling people what they basically want to hear just because you don't have the balls to tell them the truth. Also, you're not funny. Stop doing confessionals and saying things as if you are.
Evan is a poodle trying to act like a pit bull.
Yeah he talks a big game behind everyone's back. But he says anything he can, sells out anyone because of how scared he is of getting called out.The bad part is he proved in the Duel 2 that he is a good competitor and most likely will win against anyone in an elimination round.Stop being such a two-faced coward!
I still consider Derrick, Darrell and Brad as better competitors than Evan on this challenge.
I do too.
Evan is a poodle trying to act like a pit bull.
Performance wise, Evan is no poodle...just saying.
Evan can compete well but he is a total *****.
I've come to dislike Evan a lot on this challenge. I liked him on Duel 2, though, but there was no Kenny there...
The only time I really didn't mind Evan was on Fresh Meat and I guess he wasn't too bad on The Duel. I felt bad for him because he got played by Wes, but now I would give anything to see him get played again.
Everyone can say what they will about Evan, but Evan and his alliance are doing a good job. Yeah he's a punk but he's winning. I don't think Darrell and Brad are better players then Evan this challenge though. Because Darrell hasn't gotten a chance to shine more then Evan besides the ruins against Danny but we know Evan would have beat Danny. And Brad is good but we know he's not better. Him and 2 other guys couldn't get Evan off the pole last mission.
Evan can compete well but he is a total *****.
Do you ever have a consistent opinion?
I still consider Derrick, Darrell and Brad as better competitors than Evan on this challenge.
Ok really what has Brad and Derrick done more than Evan in this challenge? Really though? What is this pick on Evan because he's a snake. Him being a snake has nothing to do with his athletic abilities. Evan would kill Brad.
tj, how is that not consistent? I never said that he was weak.
