Kevin Williamson is an awesome writer. The only Scream I think I saw was the first one but can't remember much. Will need to catch up on the series.

At first when I heard rumors of a Scream 4, I was hesitant. But then I see who is all connected to it (Williamson, Craven, the original cast) and now I'm PUMPED.

I saw a poster for Scream 4 at the theatre the other day. I hope the "main 3" Woodsboro characters have a good/starring role. It would suck if they die in the beginning of the movie and the new kids take over. Wes Craven is a great director and I have no doubt he will come up with a great script.

Since I am a movie buff and wanted to get into films, especially the genre, I can already figure out 2 storylines Wes will go with this, but non the less, I am excited to see it. If the 3 main actors (Neve, Courtney and David) don't get killed off I will be happy. It seems like they are making it for a new generation. I hope they continue the franchise, with the actual people who made it fun! And the poster was a legit scream 4 with the 4 in the middle poster haha!

At first I wasn't too sure about them making another Scream. But seeing the actors from the first films and Wes Craven having signed on has given me a bit of hope for this movie. That doesn't always equal a good movie though as there are many ways it can go bad.

I personally think Wes Craven is a genious in this Genre. He knows what the audience wants :) I am actually excited to see this!

ughhh I do not like Ashley Greene. I do like Hayden Panettiere though. I still wish all of the original cast was in this movie and it was a revised remake rather. I'm already disappointed.

I'm just shocked Coutrney Cox signed on for this movie, really I would have thought with her new show and all she would have wanted to move on.

why would she want to move on? This will at least garner her show more atttention now that Dirt and Friends were cancelled. What else did she have going for her on Cougar Town?

Um because she has plenty of money and is on a good/somewhat funny show which will already be on next year. Doing the 4th installment of a horror movie to me seems a little beneath her and definately something she didn't need to do especially with her career going well right now.... on the other hand David doing the movie makes sense and if that is why she did then I completely understand otherwise it's a dumb move. She also already does the talkshow circuit for the show so how will it be increased for the movie, she has to promo the movie then and then if she wants to talk about the show.

Scream is not beneath her. It was her best movie role. She is lucky to have Gail.

Best movie role sure.... but look at the movies she has been in. I personally can't think of any besides Ace Ventura.

We love these movies, my daughter is ready for star sightings when they film.

This movie is slated to be viewed by audience on April 15 2011 and the aren't even done filming. Wow that will be one fast schedule.

Courtney played gail while she was playing Monica, if she had time then, I am sure she has time now. She will also be with her husband on set! And let's be honest how many other movies has she been in, besides Ace Ventura, and the Longest Yard and Bedtime Stories?

I'm not surprised at ALL that Courteney Cox agreed to continue playing Gale in this film. She has enough money from Friends...which means she can afford choosing any role she wants. She met her husband on the first Scream film and has a great relationship with the original cast, director, and writer. WHY would she say no?
