I might give it a try sometime, but I don't trust Starz, they always cancels their shows.

Season one was already ordered for 16 episodes to be divided up into two parts of 8. I figured they'd at least wait to see how well season 1A did before jumping into a renewal. I guess they're confident, they've got plenty of source material to work with, so maybe it'll last!
If they **** with the movies story line I'm gonna be ****** At least I'm familiar with almost everyone of these castmembers
It's supposed to have a completely new story independent of the movies. Possibly even diving into the supernatural side of things.

I think it's also supposed to be set in Woodsboro

The town is apparently called Lakewood (according to the bio for Bobby Campo's character). Who knows? I'm going to give it a chance regardless!
Another Scream tidbit: the films were inspired by the Gainesville Ripper, while the series is supposedly inspired by the Shelia Eddy case (this was tweeted by someone in production, but has since been deleted). Based on that mitch, I'd think that they would have scrapped the supernatural aspect as well. I remember we talked about that earlier in the thread. If they've kept it and it is handled with care, then I won't mind, but I'd still rather see a good old-fashioned serial killer thriller. Especially with Teen Wolf and their upcoming fantasy series already filling the supernatural slots.

I want a Harper's Island-esque show for Scream (new killer each season)... mayyyybe PLL format, but that would get pretty tiring if its the same mystery every season. Also, totally just got back into Fringe on Netflix after giving up after season 2 back when it was airing... I guess it just got too confusing for me with all of the parallel universes... but I'm now halfway through season 3 and I am so into it!! Excited to finally finish the show... despite the ending getting mixed reviews (I don't know it! so please dont spoil it haha)

Omg you must watch it right this second. Its on netflix. Go. Binge. Now. :p Edit: Wow Vevmo... not letting me use caps lock to show how intense that sentence should have been... ****
Omg you must watch it right this second. Its on netflix. Go. Binge. Now. :p
Haha! Will do!
Maybe I need to watch Harper's Island, I've heard good things about it!
It's great! Unfortunately, it only lasted one season.
It's great! Unfortunately, it only lasted one season.
Hopefully Scream ends up being good and lasts longer then.
I have also heard great things about Harper's Island, after finishing Sherlock I will give it a try. I hope it isn't like PLL, that show has become a mess. I rather watch a new killer every season.

I was so tired of it in season 4, but season 5 feels so new! :) is there a PLL thread? LOL It probably wouldn't be popular but I don't want to spoil the show for everyone.
I'm watching these new shows: The Strain The Lottery Outlander The Knick The Last Ship Extant The Leftovers
I'm watching these new shows: The Strain The Lottery Outlander The Knick The Last Ship Extant The Leftovers
What do you think of The Strain, Outlander and The Last Ship, I'm really interested in them but I haven't had time. I tried The Leftovers and I'm hooked, it's really compelling.
Extant is amazing. #hollyBerry As for The Strain and The Lottery I thought of books. lol. Which reminds me I dvr'd have yet to finish TL.
It's great! Unfortunately, it only lasted one season.
wasn't that the intention? when I think of HI i think of it as AHS 2010
I remember Scream almost didn't happen because of Polly Klass.

He was so predictable in FD4 and CSI Miami. And lol if they have a supernatural element I'm done. This is Scream, Not I Know What You Did Last Summer 3.

Personally, I do not think there will be any in the final product.
