Missy has stated that she thinks Sandra will be the star of the season. Also she said this about why Russell wishes he alligned with Amanda instead of Parvati: [quote]I guess sometimes players find out more about other players after they have finished filming. After seeing Russell's interview with Jenna Morasca on EW.com, it is almost abundantly clear to me that Erika Shay was at least partially responsible for facilitating the Parvati/Russell alliance. I like Parvati but it's not fair that she has her bffl in casting to help her not only get on the show but form an alliance.

SU attended the party this weekend, probably as Parvati's guest. He says the pictures of Parvati and Amanda were forced by CBS and because Parvati is under contract with CBS, she had to take them, even though she does not like Amanda. SU said this about Amanda: "Shes a ***** who thinks is high and mighty. No wonder Parv cant stand her, and probably why she loses so much. She wanted the least amount of people "bothering" her. "

In response to a picture of Sandra and Rupert kind of hugging, SU said it means nothing and that everyone talks crap about Rupert behind his back. Parvati/Amanda and Sandra/Rupert are the friendships that fall apart this season and any pictures to show otherwise are not genuine on the cast's part, it sounds like.

SU has said that Stephenie's shoulder is dislocated by Parvati, and Rupert's toe broken by Rob. He has corrected his previous statement that 4 idols are used and that all are effective. He now claims 6-8 idols are used and not all are effective. I spoke to someone who was at the party this weekend who claims Rupert was idoled. This could kind of be true -- maybe someone just played an idol who didn't need to play one since final 6 is the last time it can be played. He also said that Russell, who gets 0 jury votes because they "can't stand him," votes in the majority every time he attends tribal council.

SU siad about the 6-8 idols that it is because nobody wanted to take chances so they played the idol as soon as they found it. Missy told me over email a while back that Russell found about 4 and gave 1 to Parvati. Danielle is NOT idoled.

Per Mark Burnett, the Heroes win the first reward challenge. It also appears that the James injury comes from the same challenge Mike Borassi was evacuated from last season: [quote]He explained about Schmergenball, the challenge that took out Mike Borassi in Samoa. “We liked it so much that we brought it back and another person was injured. I won’t say wether it was an evacuation, but there was another major problem. So then that challenge was thrown in the trash. It will never be back.[/quote]

I have now heard this from 4 different sources, so I feel okay enough to post this: The final vote between Sandra, Parvati and Russell will be 5-4-0. When emailing missyae in the past, she gave me the impression that it was a blowout for Sandra, but she has now retracted that to me. Sandra is still the likely winner, but the reason people like SU have refused to officially declare a winner is because Jerri is the only one to not discuss her vote, and it's split 4-4 among the rest of them. Jerri is heavily thought to vote for Sandra, but she hasn't talked. One storyline we may see come into play episode 1, that correlates with the post by cuz a while back saying Stephenie came into conflict with JT and Rupert over the food situation: Rupert demanded that the tribe kill some chickens right off the bat (might be their reward), but in this case, the rest of the tribe wouldn't allow him to do it. One thing to remember: I posted (post #277) in this thread who Sandra regarded as her "besties." Five of those listed were Survivor 20 jurors. Sandra gets 5 votes. Correlation? Maybe. The only exception I'd maybe make, would be Amanda. It has been said many times that Parvati hates Amanda. In such a close 5-4 vote, if Amanda was among the 5 who voted Sandra, it could have fueled Parvati's dislike for Amanda in that she cost her a million dollars. Colby, Amanda and Rupert are probably the votes that could go one way or the other (I could see Colby respecting Parv's immunity run despite being a Sandra bestie). Parvati probably gets Coach and Danielle, while Sandra probably gets JT, Courtney, Candice and Jerri.

SU promised an angry jury speech, and really, I can't see it coming from anyone else aside from the deluded Rupert who feels it is everyone else's job to let him win. So I'm feeling like Rupert is more likely than not in the Parvati column. I count Coach as number 2 for Parv based on a) that Missy said he might vote her, b) the respect that he voiced for her in his pre-season videos, c) that SU said Sandra "gets loud" to him at a tribal council. Missy omitted Colby and Courtney from that email to me. Courtney is an obvious Sandra vote, but her omission of Colby might indicate he is a Parvati vote? I can see him respecting her immunity wins. Maybe Missy wasn't aware of Rupert's bitterness at the time? I think Amanda and Rupert are both up in the air because we really don't know the details of what happened between them and Parvati/Sandra.

I did say it was Jerri at first, I had asked SU who believed it was her. Since then, I took it back because SU and Missy both posted that Parvati dominated the post merge challenges.

Parvati is paired with Danielle, as I was told by a source. The press stays around often til episode 2 so maybe Sandra and Tyson's fishing gear comes around day 4 or 5? The heroes definitely seem to win in episode 1-- between Missy talking about Rupert wanting to kill the chickens, and Burnett's comment that Sugar runs back topless (after it being pulled off by Sandra) to winf or her tribe.

There are a few other pics that show the same 12 people bring the boats back to shore. That leaves Amanda, Cirie, Rupert and Sugar for the Heroes, and Jerri, Sandra, Rob and Randy doing whatever phase 2 involves (more puzzles?)
