Survivor China: Ep. 1502 - My Mom Is Going to Kill Me!
Thank God it was Ashely! The editors really had me fooled this week. They usually use the opposite approach (i.e. whoever is "doomed" stays) and for some reason I thought that methodology was a trick this week and David was going (even though he did get the "trouble maker" edit which should have tipped me off that he was staying.) Anyone who has watched survivor long enough knows how this normally plays out:

Team A loses immunity
Team A gets rid of strongest player who is "trouble maker"
Team A loses immunity again
Team A thinks it must be team chemistry issue and gets rid of second strongest player to "improve camp life"
Team A loses again
Team A figures it out! It is "XYZ" that is causing the issue and votes out last remaining player good at anything.
Team A filled with good for nothing floaters with no chance at wining at merge time...
Remnants of Team A picked off one by one...with the most egregious loser kept around for a finals filler...
My only other comment is that Sherea joined my "hate" list this week. She should be constantly campaigning to be sent home because she sucks that bad...
I'm glad she went to, she was pretty worthless.
They only let her stay this long because of her "suspension" with the WWE.
I didn't "hate" Ashley per say.....I just wanted her there less then David. Even with those gianormous fake breasts screaming out to the male "head" hunters of the tribe, there really wasn't much of a choice to make when it came down to it. They choice wisely in skirting her away and keeping their "leader" and hopefully it will pay dividends next week. There were others that should have gone first if they really wanted to build the best team so that they could improve their odds in challenges. BTW:Anyone else get a kick out of CBS's blur crazy reward challenge? I think sometimes they were just blurring for the sake of blurring...
I just read an interview with voted off Ashley, and what she had to say was no surprise. It really ties in well with what I said above concerning who Zhan Hu voted off and how they are now screwed...
Chicken going first... I understand he's really annoying people, but voting off somebody when you already have a weaker team. We don't even have a structure built. Hey, you want to vote him off next week when our structure's built and we've already used him to build the roof? You know what I mean? Have him do some heavy-lifting and some challenges that require physicality... I just thought it was a bad choice. And they were like, "No! Come on! Chicken's done this and Chicken's done that! Please, please please!" And I'm like, "No, let's just go." I knew they were going to vote for Chicken, but I was just like, "Honestly?" I wanted them to change their minds. I mean I understand, I'm sick of him too. Then the next day I'm like, "Hey! This is why. Now do you see where we are?" They're like, "Yeah." I didn't really have a problem with Ashley. I thought her complaints to David made sense. He isn't a good leader and I think they are stuck with him now, so they deserve whatever they get now. I really hate when things are so one sided. I feel we haven't really gotten to get to know they other tribe that well.
Speaking of Survivor lameness..... You know I did not even mention the "kidnapping" gimmick in my previous posts and it was on my mind during the episode. It was totally eating at me. How worthless! I mean it might have some value if you could pick a strong player and keep them out of a competition.......but instead you pick someone and give the other tribe the advantage by allowing a spy in your midst.......and then they go back and compete for their team in the next comp! ...er.....whahhh?
I just haven't been able to get into this show at all. I'll keep watching and hopefully I'll get sucked in. It probably doesn't help that I'm usually playing on the computer while I'm watching it, so this week I won't do that so I can give Survivor my full attention.

If the show continues to trend the way things are now headed (with the self mutilated tribe getting clobbered) it is going to be a snooze fest. Mark Burnett is a reality television genius. I am sure there will be a "twist" before things get to far out of hand...
I really hate when things are so one sided.
